ENVIRONMENT

Environment affects our destinies, dreams and life; directly and indirectly. The type of environment you are living in has a greater impact on you than your family. Environmental forces are POWERFUL. To the extent your environment is developed that is how far you can go. If your environment is small and uncivilized; it will keep you small and uncivilized. The ONLY antidote is to STEP OUT of an environment which does not help your dreams and life path!

You cannot prosper in an unhelpful environment that is disharmonious to your aspirations, talents, potentials and visions. Manifesting our dreams are very easy when the environment is beautiful. What will make a fruit planted in a fertile soil not flourish? If you plant a tomato in a fertile soil; it will produce well. But plant that same tomato in an unfertile soil and you will see a different result! It will not produce well; it will only struggle and keep struggling for survival. The tomato planted in an unfertile soil ends up fruitless and withered! Many people have found themselves in this reality and it is quite unfortunate and sad!!

The last time I checked, NO ONE made it living in their “comfort zone.” Do you think that Rihanna could have been successful today as a Singer if she was still living in Barbados? Who would have known Nicki Minaj if she remained in Trinidad & Tobago? Brenda Fassie left Langa to Johannesburg and launched a very successful singing career. People like Buche Emecheta, Wole Soyinka and Chinua Achebe achieved a very successful writing career because they moved out of Nigeria. For example it was the London friends of Buchi Emecheta that encouraged and supported Buchi Emecheta to help her become a successful writer. Living in London helped Buchi Emecheta prove her worth as a talented writer. Buchi Emecheta is from Delta State, Nigeria and she is an award-winning author!

How about Chimaamanda Adichie? Though she is talented but her moving out of Nigeria to USA paved the way and made her become a very successful writer and even an award-winning writer!!  You see, these writers never achieved their success when they were living in Nigeria! Environment is VERY POWERFUL!!!  An environment can either mar or make your dreams; depending on the type of environment you are living.

Going back to the ancient times, Abraham (Spiritually honourarily known as the Father of all Nations in the Bible) never made it in his current location; even if it was his homeland. It was when he moved out to a new land he created and tasted wealth, success and opulence!! What about the Ascended Master Jesus Christ? He was born in Bethlehem a city in Nazareth. Buju Banton has told us that “rich man’s way is in the city…”

See beyond the shores of your horizon! BE DARING! Dare to manifest and be sassy and intrepid enough to step out of your comfort zone. Dreams do not come true in a comfort zone. Forget what the limiting beliefs and negative is telling you. Tell yourself the truth. NO MATTER how bitter, unbelievable, impossible and odd it sounds.
