Now that 2025 is Coming to an End

Father Christmas: Pinterest

Time is an illusion. There is always a unique speed that comes with the ending of the year. Especially the months that is close to the year end. Before you know what is happening we will be in 2026! Even right now people have started saying Happy Christmas. January is just by the corner. And before you know what is happening we start saying Happy New Year. It is not uncommon for people to do their New Year Resolution. I really do not have any issues with New Year Resolutions. But I believe that once you are in alignment every other thing will start falling into places elegantly! I used to be frantic about each year ending; looking for what I have achieved and what I have not. I have grown to realize that life is in stages and everything happens in Divine Timing. You just have to be sensitive to your Divine Timing and opportunities; once you are aligned you will start experiencing serendipities.

The question I want to ask you my dear readers are: now that this year is coming to an end; what is one thing you are grateful for? What progresses have you made in this New Year and what are you looking forward to achieve in the next year? As one who is living in Alternative Reality; I am living my life with the mindset that every day should be a Christmas for me. My happiness and celebration should never be tied to one particular month and date. Yes, I am living with Christos-Sophia and that is enough for me.

No matter how ugly this year has been or no matter the challenges that you are facing or have faced this year. I still believe that there is something to be thankful for. Even I myself have had my own personal challenges this year. I have also made some progresses. I have a lot of things I am thankful for. In fact, the things that I am thankful for are more than the things I am sad about. Do you have any favorite song for Christmas? Mine is All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey. I have been playing the song back to back and I love it so much.

For me, I am looking forward to seeing myself in higher heights come 2026. I am excited and grateful not because of the holiday festivals but because I am aligned and walking with higher consciousness (Christos-Sophia). Having the guidance, protection and provision of my Angelic and Guardian Teams is another thing I am grateful for as well. For the peace and perfect health I am also thankful. What are you thankful for in this 2025? I am going to round up this post with the words of Sonia Choquette. I hope you find it inspiring! I will recommend you check out the book by Sonia Choquette titled The Pathway to Joy. It will be very helpful for you!

“The Universe put you here to have an adventure…and will provide all you need to have the BEST adventure! Keep your sense of adventure and allow the Universe to entertain you.” Sonia Choquette

A Life like Anja’s–What is that like?

I have gotten a lot of inspiration from Anja Loven that is why I decided to share this story about Anja with you my beloved readers. Anja Loven is a Humanitarian Worker and Children Advocate. She is not from Nigeria but she is living in Nigeria protecting Nigerian children who are accused of being a witch because they are born with disabilities or are afflicted with sickness…Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company, DR, has interviewed Anja for a Podcast series called “World Class”. The two Danish hosts, Stéphanie Surrugue and Anders Agger, speak to Danes who, for various reasons, have voluntarily chosen to settle abroad.

Anja is one of them.

Privately, Anja lives an unconventional family life with a husband in Nigeria and their son, David Jr. who goes to school in Denmark. He himself says that he lives in two countries at the same time. Their lives are back and forth between Nigeria and Denmark. Suitcases are always packed, and waiting time at the airport has become part of everyday life.

But what is it really like?

What drives Anja to give up a safe and stable life in Denmark and instead live a difficult life, in one of the world’s most dangerous countries? And how does Anja’s son feel about having to share his mother with 100 other children at the Land of Hope orphanage?

We know that many of you have asked the same questions. Now Anja puts into words the choices she has made in life–and why. Since the Podcast is only in Danish we have translated it here for you:

You are known in the public eye for your work with ‘witch children’. Are you unhappy with that predicate?

Anja and Hope; the little boy he is rescuing. The same boy on the right picture with Anja after rescued her)
Anja and Hope (this boy was rescued by Anja in Akwa-Ibom State. It is the same boy on the left; before and after)

My mission is for world leaders and large international organizations to open their eyes to the 10,000 children a year who are accused of being witches in Nigeria. You can call me ‘mother of the witch children’. It is also the name of my book. So I have given myself this predicate too.

You move between Denmark and Nigeria all the time. And I have read somewhere that you feel just as at home in Nigeria as in Denmark. Is that correct?

If you ask my son where he lives he will say “I live in two countries”. And that is the truth. My living room floor is full of suitcases. It’s like we live in Frankfurt airport where we fly between Denmark and Nigeria. And on top of that it is two very different countries. It was a choice I made when I met my son’s father in Nigeria 10 years ago. Our main priority and life mission is to spread the word about children being accused of being witches and that means our relationship and family life come second.

Do you sometimes meet each other at the airport?

My husband and I only see each other in Nigeria. He has never been to Denmark and a lot of people wonder about that. He might be exceptional but he does not dream of coming to the western world. His goal is to make Nigeria a better place, and he is also politically active in Nigeria. So he is very busy with that.

How is his view on Denmark?

He thinks that Danes are fantastic. His own son is half Dane. But he also thinks Danes are a little crazy sometimes. He looks at the western world with Nigerian eyes and his world perspective is culturally different from mine. I grew up with Christian values in Denmark which is the world’s least corrupt country. We fight for women’s equality, and he grew up in a patriarchal society in Nigeria, the world’s most corrupt country. Our point of view is different. I may have been a bit naive thinking that we in the western world do everything the right way. But if you look at us from different perspectives that might not be true. He has pointed that out to me. At the same time he knows, we would not be where we are today if it wasn’t for the support we get from the Danish people. After spending 10 years together we have learned that we may have different backgrounds, but we have a common goal and important things to fight for. Therefore, we have to put our own values aside to find common solutions to save as many children accused of being witches in Nigeria as possible. It is not always easy to do so. When I travelled to Nigeria 10 years ago I wanted to ‘save’ Nigeria by telling these poor communities ‘you should not accuse children of being witches’. But I had to realise that these people didn’t even have clean water to drink, didn’t have access to healthcare, and no social protection.

When you describe Nigeria like that I feel the need to ask: Anja, what in the world are you doing? I admire your mission, but why do you want to live a life like that? Have you had time to reflect on that?

Anja Loven with Nigerian children she has rescued
Anja Loven with Nigerian children she has rescued

It has been a question I have had to ask myself. A lot of people have told me I am brave and asked me where that comes from. I grew up with a strong and caring mother who worked at a nursing home. We did not have much money. My father was an alcoholic and he neglected me as a child. They represented two different worlds to me – and I wanted to save my father. My concerns have always been other people’s needs and well beings – not my own. My mother taught me that if I want to reach my goals I have to work hard. So I knew when I started Land of Hope that it came with sacrifices.

Do you live in the dangerous areas of Nigeria?

We live in Akwa Ibom state. Nigeria has 36 states and Akwa Ibom state is in the South-East of Nigeria near the coast. We live at Land of Hope together with all the children. It’s primitive, but it is what I want to do.

How does your son feel about it? You taking care of other children but him

I don’t want my son to feel like he comes second. But it was difficult being his mother, and at the same time being a mother figure for all the other children. I was afraid he would be jealous. I spoke to my husband about it and he said, I shouldn’t feel guilty. That the children know he is my son and he lives with us. I also questioned–is this life good for him? And I believe it is good for all children to see all sides of this world.

When you get old and look back. What would you like to say you succeeded in doing?

The footprints I leave my son is important. I want him to know the most important thing you can do in life is to help other people in need and be a good person. To listen, be empathic, and not judge other people. I hope he will remember his mother as someone who helped other people. That is important to me–not the fact that I have met Dalai Lama or won awards. It may look good in pictures on Instagram but we also sacrifice a lot. I hope he forgives me for that and instead appreciate that I gave him an insight into a world where children do not have the same opportunities as him. And he learned something from that experience.

The Visit of Ciara to Nigeria and the Lesson it Holds

American Singer Ciara Visits Nigeria For Cultural Tour

Grammy-winning singer Ciara arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, on Oct 30, 2025, for a cultural tour to showcase Lagos’s art, fashion, and tourism scene. She visited key cultural sites, including the Nike Centre for Arts and Culture. American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress Ciara Princess Wilson has arrived in Nigeria and embarked on a cultural tour to celebrate Lagos’ growing global influence in tourism, art, and fashion. Her visit was announced by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State, Jubril Gawat, on October 30, 2025. He wrote, “International Superstar, Grammy Award Winner, CIARA Princess Wilson is in Lagos, accompanied by the Commissioner for Tourism, Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka. He also stated that the Grammy award-winning singer’s visit was a homecoming for her and that she would visit different cultural sites in Lagos.

Upon arrival, Ciara was received by Lagos State officials, including the Commissioner for Tourism, who emphasised that her visit was part of a collaboration between the state government and creative stakeholders.  She has since toured multiple cultural landmarks, including a stop at the Nike Centre for Arts and Culture. Ciara was seen wearing Adire, a traditional Nigerian indigo-dyed textile, as part of her effort to connect with the local culture. She praised Lagos’ infrastructural development, urban planning, and cultural vibrancy, calling it a city on the rise. This visit is not Ciara’s first trip to Lagos. In February 2016, she headlined the popular “Love Like A Movie 3” concert at the Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island. “I’m happy to be here. I’m really excited,” she said. “I know about Lagos. Lagos, from what I see, I’ve seen an evolution of Lagos. When I used to land, I used to see all the dirt roads; now what I see is pavement.”

Ciara: (Wikipedia)

Ciara Princess Wilson Harris; born October 25, 1985) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. Ciara have sold over seven million albums worldwide, and as of June 2010, she had sold more than 4.3 million albums and 6.9 million digital tracks in the US alone. As of 2019, Ciara’s worldwide sales total 45 million, including “23 million records and 22 million singles.

In September 2008, Ciara contributed to the song “Just Stand Up!” with fifteen other female artists, who shared the stage to perform the song live on September 5, 2008, during the “Stand Up to Cancer” television special. The proceeds from the single were given to the fundraiser. The television special helped raise $100 million for cancer research. In 2009, Ciara became the face of Dosomething.org’s “Do Something 101″ campaign to raise school supplies for those in need at the start of the school year. She filmed a public service announcement to endorse the campaign.

In December 2017, Ciara joined her husband’s nonprofit ‘Why Not You’ Foundation as a board director. Through the foundation, she would eventually open a charter school called Why Not You Academy in June 2021 following an announcement eight months prior. They would also partner with the NFL Players Association and Goalsetter to open checking accounts for students at Denny International Middle School with a donation of $35,000 in May 2021. Ciara would later partner with the Black Women’s Health Imperative and Hologic‘s Project Health Equality on their collaborative ‘Cerving Confidence’ campaign to raise awareness about the disproportionate effects of cervical cancer on black women. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Ciara donated one million meals to Food Lifeline to help the Puget Sound Region.

What is the lesson we have to learn from these visits to Nigeria? I will summarize it in a few sentence. This visits of Ciara to Nigeria means that if Nigeria and Africa is smooth the Black Americans would speedily return back to Africa. But it is not a reality that Africa is ready for. I really do not blame the Black Americans who have distanced themselves from Africa.

The Snake Boy: Unbelievable Encounter between 2 Year Old Indian Boy and a Cobra

Picture: Tori Ng.

In a jaw-dropping incident that has stunned both locals and medical professionals, a 2-year-old boy in Bihar, India survived a potentially deadly encounter by biting a venomous cobra to death.

What Happened?

The child, Govinda Kumar, was playing near his home in Bankatwa village when a three-foot-long cobra approached and wrapped itself around his hand. According to his grandmother, Mateshwari Devi, the toddler didn’t scream or run — instead, he fought back in a way no one could have imagined. “He grabbed the cobra and bit its head,” Devi told local media. “We saw the snake coiled around his hand, and he had the snake’s head in his mouth. We immediately separated them.”

Critical Condition & Medical Response

Moments later, young Govinda lost consciousness, likely due to venom exposure through his mouth. He was rushed to a nearby health center and then transferred to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Bettiah for emergency care. Dr. Saurab Kumar, a pediatrician at GMCH, called it a “highly unusual case”, noting that: “His face and mouth were swollen, which indicated a reaction to the venom. Thankfully, the venom didn’t enter his bloodstream, which could have been fatal.” Govinda received anti-allergy treatment and was monitored for 48 hours. After showing no signs of further complications, he was safely discharged. The snake, however, died instantly from the trauma caused by the child’s bite.

Why This Case Is So Rare!

Snakebite cases spike during India’s monsoon season, but doctors say this is the first time a child has survived by biting back at a venomous snake. Cobra venom is typically lethal when injected into the bloodstream, but in this case, the venom entered through the digestive system, allowing for effective treatment. Govinda is now recovering at home, hailed as a miracle survivor and a symbol of resilience in his village.

🚨 Snake Encounters on the Rise: What You Should Know

This story is a stark reminder of the dangers that wildlife can pose in rural areas — especially during rainy seasons, when snakes are more active. Always supervise young children outdoors and seek immediate medical help in case of any animal bites.

Why You Do Not Want To Know The Future

Eagle: Pinterest

Do you want to know the future? I bet you do! But in today’s video, I make my case for why knowing the future is actually not usually a productive thing, and how it can even backfire and slow down your wanted manifestations. I’ll also explain how you’re already getting glimpses of the future and why this often so unsatisfying (even when it’s an awesome future!). Do you want to see the future? Do you want to know what’s going to happen? I bet you think you do! Well, today, I’m going to talk about if it’s even possible to see the future; and why you may not want to. It’s going to be an interesting video! I’m going to talk today about why you may not actually want to see the future. Why it can be kind of detrimental, and even unwanted; and what the pitfalls of that are. So, let’s get started. So, I was having this conversation the other day about seeing the future. Is it possibly to see the future? First of all, let’s start with that.

Can You See into the Future?

Yes, it is possible to see the future, but – you know there’s going to be a big but in there, or a fancy but. However, you cannot see the absolute–100% for sure – future. All we can ever see – and it doesn’t matter how psychic you are, it doesn’t matter who you’re working with – all you can ever see is potentials. You can read – if you’re able to read someone’s energy – you can read the potentials. There might be a very strong potential that something’s going to happen in their life, or they’re going to manifest something. They’ve got some kind of progression going; it’s got a lot of momentum behind it, and you can, kind of, see where it’s going to go. But always remember that no matter what the prediction is, somebody can make a new decision and completely change their energy, and then the potentials may very well shift quite drastically. And even just telling somebody what’s going to happen to them, can actually cause that future to become invalidated.

So, all we can ever see is potentials. What is potentially going to happen and how strong that potential is. How much momentum you’ve got going, how much energy you’ve got behind that; how aligned you are with that potential, or not. Now, a good energy reader can definitely do that, however, there may be a reason for you not to want to see your future. Now, I’m going to talk about it a little bit differently here, in terms of not just you working with psychics, or people who can read your future, but you, yourself, in your own life. Because I’m all about empowering you to do this work yourself, and not to require assistance. That doesn’t mean that there’s anything wrong with getting assistance, but not to require it all the time because you, yourself, don’t have the power to do this. You absolutely do!

A Desire is a Manifestation that is Part of a Progression

So, you may have never thought about it this way, but a desire is actually a type of future prediction, because a desire is actually a manifestation. You manifest desires; you must be a match to a desire. And this is why you can never actually desire anything, without having the ability to manifest that thing, because it’s already part of your progression. It’s already something that you’ve manifested. You’ve manifested the desire, which is, kind of, the first step to manifesting the whole thing, the actual experience into your physical reality. When you get a desire, that is like a glimpse of what’s to come, or what’s potentially to come. Now, people get very frustrated and very impatient when they manifest a desire, and then the desire doesn’t come to fruition instantly, or within a very short amount of time. And when I say people, I mean all of us; it happens to me too. You get a desire, you get really excited about it, you get really turned on by it, you’re wanting to take action, you’re ready, and then nothing happens. Oooh, crap; is the Universe just messing with us?? No!! The Universe is not an asshole.

So, what’s happening in that moment when there is a big delay between desire and fruition is, well many things can happen. Because the desire coming in does not mean that this thing is going to come to fruition in the next 5 minutes. What it means is that a process has started, and it’s started enough for you to already manifest the desire. It is part of a progression that is going to build, so what you want to realize is: It’s started off the process; you’ve kicked off a process. But that doesn’t mean that process is complete.

Lining up to Your Energy with Your Desire

So, there may be some things for you to look at, maybe some resistance for you to get rid of, some fine-tuning to do, some re-focusing to do. These are all things that may need to happen as you get there. But what I want to talk to you about today is that when you get that desire, and then it doesn’t come to fruition, it’s like you’ve seen the future. You have seen the future; you’ve seen a possible future, a potential future. One that you may want to choose, and then can bring about, but you’ve seen the future, but it’s not in the present yet, is it? It’s not actually here yet. And, that doesn’t feel good. It feels frustrating. It might even feel depressing. And, what that is showing us, that feeling when we get a desire and then it doesn’t come to fruition, is, the longer that gap, and the more frustrating that gap is for you, the less you are trusting that you’re actually going to get what you want. So, the less of a match you are to it in that moment. That doesn’t mean that you’re doing anything wrong, it just means that there’s some more aligning to do. There might be, again, some resistance you have to get rid of, some negative beliefs that are blocking that, that you might want to shift out.

Glimpses of Your Future May not Always be Fun to See

But also, I want to point out to you that it’s not actually that much fun to get a view, a glimpse of the future when you don’t believe that you can actually have it. When you don’t really trust that you can have it. People are always wondering: “I want to know the future; I want to know the future.” And then, when they get a glimpse of the future and they’re not aligned with it, it’s not actually that positive of a thing. It can become really, really frustrating. And, it is going to show you how much doubt you have, and that doubt is going to be brought up, so even that is a valuable process. But, think about that the next time that you really want to know what’s going to happen. Understand that you get glimpses of the future all the time. You may not be recognizing them as such. Your desires are essentially glimpses of the future, a potential future that you can line up with. But, if you don’t have that belief that you’re going to line up with it, then that glimpse of the future is incredibly dissatisfying.

A Desire and a Manifestation Happening at the Same Time

So, we don’t actually want to know too far ahead what’s going to happen, because we don’t really want to wait for it; we want it to come in now. And, of course, the more trusting we are, and the more belief that we have in our power, the more we are in our power, the shorter that gap gets. Because, ideally, desire and manifestation come in pretty much at the same time. And, if you’ve never experienced that, that is delicious. I bet you have at times! It’s when something comes in that is amazing, and you didn’t even know you wanted it until you saw it. And, you went, “Oh my God! That’s great. I didn’t even know, but now that I see it, I’ve wanted this. This makes perfect sense to me that I want this, that this is a match to my desires, but I hadn’t actually crystallized them out in detail yet–until I saw it–but here it is.” That would be a desire and a manifestation happening at the same time, which is, of course, ideal. But, most of us don’t experience that all day, every day. Most of us are getting glimpses, and then there’s a gap; sometimes, there’s a big gap between desire and actual manifestation–stage 5 manifestation.

You do not want to be bored (really you don’t)

Now, there’s another reason why you don’t want to know the future well ahead of time. And that is: Boredom. If you knew exactly what was going to happen, every step of the way, for the rest of your life, you would be bored out of your mind. We want adventure – even those amongst us who are really, really afraid of change. Essentially, we want adventure. Because it’s not that we’re afraid of change; we’re afraid of negative change. We’re afraid of bad experiences. We’re not afraid of the good experiences. A lot of people, when they go on vacation, will actually embody this. They don’t plan everything out when they go on a trip. They might plan some big things out – what hotel to stay at, the flight gets booked, that kind of thing. But they like to leave a little bit of a gap for adventure, some flexibility. You’re walking around the city, you see a beautiful café, you decide to take an hour or two, and go into that café, and have a cup of tea, and people watch. We want to be able to do those things; we want, when somebody says, “Hey! Let’s go to this amazing thing I heard about tonight.” – that you actually have the flexibility to go do that, and have adventures and experiences, and awesome experiences that you wouldn’t have been able to plan for; that you didn’t even know where available to you.

It is More Fun not Knowing Your Future

Well, if you start looking at life that way, then it doesn’t make sense that you would want to know everything about your future. Because, again, you want to know everything about your future to mitigate the danger. But when you understand your own power, it actually becomes really boring if you know the future. You want to be able to come into an environment and go, “I don’t know why I’m here, but I know it’s going to be amazing. Bring it, bring it, bring it!!” And then that is super, super fun, and that plays right into the happy shiny puppy metaphor; the symbol of the happy shiny puppy that you go into experiences expecting them to be awesome, and then they are. And you just play, and you have a great time. But you can’t have that kind of experience if you know precisely what’s going to happen, and you’re just ticking off the boxes. Again, the only reason that we really want to know the future is because we’re afraid it’s going to be bad. When you come from a place of knowing, or believing, or trusting, to the best of your ability, that it’s actually going to be good, that it’s going to be awesome, that it’s happening for you, for your benefit, you can let go of that fear bit-by-bit. This is not a one-off process; this is something that happens incrementally over time. But you can let go of that fear bit-by-bit until life becomes one big adventure.

And I can tell you from personal experience, not that I live this way 100%, but I do it a lot, and a lot more all the time, because it’s something that I’m consciously allowing. I can tell you from personal experience that living that way is amazing. It means that you always have fun, because you’re always choosing to have fun! You’re always having a great adventure. You have lots of surprises, but they’re positive surprises, like birthday type surprises. Again, those surprises are often when a desire and a manifestation come in at the same time. When that happens, recognize it, celebrate it. “More like this please. More like this please.” And the rest of the time, maybe recognize that when you’re going in that mode of – I just wish I knew what was going to happen – that you’re actually focusing on it not working out well for you. “So Universe, just tell me what’s going to happen so that I don’t have to worry anymore.” That’s not how it works! You have to stop worrying, before you start having the manifestations that prove to you that you have no reason to worry.

Bottom Line

So, ultimately, we don’t need to know the future, and that’s a good thing; you can be excited by that. You can be excited by the unknown and what’s to come. You don’t really want to be bored, and you don’t really want there to be glimpses of the future that don’t come to fruition in a short amount of time, because that’s frustrating. And, it’s just showing you that you’re not trusting. So, the more you trust, the more you believe – the more you choose to believe, the more you make that decision over, and over again, the more that becomes automated. And then life just gets filled more and more with unexpected awesomeness, and adventure that you didn’t orchestrate, that you didn’t actually deliberately choose, but your energy field brought them about because it is what you desired, and it just shortens that time between your desire and your manifestation coming in.

I know this was a little bit more advanced, but I hope it brought you some clarity about why knowing the future is actually not that great of a thing, and why ultimately in this game that we’re playing it’s not something that is incredibly helpful most of the time. So, I would love to hear from you now, and hear what are some of the future glimpses that you’ve gotten. And, in hindsight, maybe you can see where desire came in, and then a manifestation came much later. And how perhaps you didn’t actually need to worry so much because it came about anyway, and the time gap between the two was just filled with unnecessary worry.

This article is an excerpt from Melody Fletcher you can watch the full YouTube video of this topic on her YouTube Channel.

P.S.

While I try to understand where Melody Fletcher is coming from and what is she is trying to tell us; I might as well have to tell you that I am a very curious person by nature and if you ask me. Not just asking me by the way…I mean if I have my way of working around the Cosmic Clock (or God clock and such); I would literally want to know my future completely. Why? It will give me a preview of what I should and should not do. At the same time giving me the chance to correct any upcoming mistakes and remove any potential obstacles that might be on my way. By the way, if we can have a preview of our work on the PC, a preview plan (architectural plan for our houses etc). I strongly believe that humans could have have the ability to know the future. Or are my trying to know too much or nose into God business? I do not think so.

What is Psychological Resilience? Key Traits and How to Develop Them

The American Psychological Association (APA),explained psychological resilience as the ability to cope with adversity and to adapt to stressful life events, varies widely from person to person and depends on environmental as well as personal factors. It refers to positive adaptation, or the ability to maintain mental and physical health despite participating in stressful situations.

Picture: Pinterest

According to Very Well Mind, some of the main characteristics of a person who has resilience are awareness, self-control, problem-solving skills, and social support. Resilient people are aware of situations, their emotional reactions, and the behavior of those around them. By remaining aware, they can maintain control of a situation and think of new ways to tackle problems. The key traits of psychological resilience according to Very Well Mind are: problem-solving skills, strong social connections, survivor mentality, emotional regulation and emotional intelligence and self-compassion. Other key traits of psychological resilience are: being authentic, flexible thinking and reaching out for help.

How to Develop Psychological Resilience

Picture: Pinterest

Spending Time in Nature: Nature itself is healing; by immersing yourself in nature it helps to raise your vibrations and build you up energetically. I can personally testify to this as I love spending time in nature a lot. At one time I went out to the woods, it was very quiet and cool. I literally enjoyed the sweet quietness; I did not feel like going back home—I guarantee you that nature is therapeutic.

Meditation and Affirmations: As humans we all have our problems; telling your problems to God/Angels/Universe/Cosmic Forces etc plays a tremendous role in overcoming your challenges. I will remind you that the invisible precedes the visible. According to Florence Scovel Shinn, “Your word is your wand.” And I agree completely; what you tell yourself is what matters most. Cultivating the habit of positive affirmations will imprint it in your subconscious mind. Once your subconscious mind picks this signal; it equips you with developing a sense of optimism because a positive mindset can help you stay hopeful in the face of challenges and a positive mindset can help you achieve a positive life.

Books: Reading about people who have experienced and overcome a similar problem can be motivating and suggest ideas on how to cope. Also reading success stories of others (even if it is not the same with the problem you are facing)

Support Groups: On our own we are powerful but when we join forces, we become unstoppable. Even the Bible said that one will chase a thousand but two will chase ten thousand! Whether it is civic groups, faith-based communities, or other local organizations. Research groups in your area that could offer you support and a sense of purpose and joy when you need it. Joining a support group of likeminded people is a great way to find a network of people who can provide compassion, support and the opportunity for you to talk about the challenges you are facing and express your vulnerability because vulnerability is strength!

Learn from your past. By looking back at who or what was helpful in previous times of distress, you may discover how you can respond effectively to new difficult situations.

Accept change. Accept that change is a part of life. Certain goals or ideals may no longer be attainable as a result of adverse situations in your life. Accepting circumstances that cannot be changed can help you focus on circumstances that you can alter.

Look for Opportunities for Self-Discovery: According to Mooji,
step into the fire of self-discovery, this fire will not burn you it will only burn what you are not.” “Man know thyself.” Socrates also said “the unexamined life is not worth living.” Embrace personal development. Always remember that a mind stretched by new knowledge can never go back to its prior form. People often find that they have grown in some aspect as a result of overcoming a struggle. This can increase a sense of self-worth, happiness and wisdom and heighten your appreciation for life.

Help Others. Shelly Rogers Johnson said it well: “No man can sincerely try and help another without helping himself.” Whether you volunteer or support a friend in their own time of need, you can garner a sense of purpose, foster self-worth, all of which can empower you to grow in resilience.

Avoid Negative Outlets. Do not cover your pain by indulging in alcohol, drugs, or other substances. While it can give you a momentary relief the aftermath can be catastrophic. Also avoid toxic and bad people in your life.

Practice Gratitude and Mindfulness. A grateful mind is a magnet for miracles. Mindful journaling and yoga can also help people restore hope, which can help them to deal with situations that require resilience.

Take care of your body. Health is wealth. Self-care may be a popular buzzword, but it is also a legitimate practice for mental health and building resilience. Stress is just as much physical as it is emotional. Promoting positive lifestyle factors like proper nutrition, ample sleep, hydration, and regular exercise can strengthen your body, mind and soul.

Maintaining Good Interpersonal Relationships: Friends, family, and the community can lift you up and give you the support you need when you are in need

A Journey into the Life and Success of an Enigmatic Celtic Singer

Enya (Picture source: Wikipedia of Enya)

People who love and understand music know that Enya is a Goddess on her own right! Enya was the artist chosen to write the song used in The Lord of the Rings. The title of the song is May It Be. She actually travelled to New Zealand where Lord of the Rings was shot to work on the Music. The lyrics of this song is BEYOND Earth!! And she says in her Quenya terms “Mornie Utulie” Enya is a Celtic woman (Irish) and she lives in the Manderley Castle in Dublin with her cats and family. She is a Grammy award-winning singer!! But have chosen to live a very quiet and private life. Enya has noted that she ‘was always quiet, even as a child, so there has always been an air of mystery around me’ also mentioning that ‘at school, they would always say, “oh, we never know what Eithne is thinking or what she will say next.”

    Background of Enya

Originally born with the name as Eithne Pádraigín Ní Bhraonáin on 17 May 1961. Her name was anglicized as Enya Patricia Brennan and known mononymously as Enya. She is the sixth of nine children in the Brennan family of musicians, born to Máire “Baba” and Leopold “Leo” Brennan. Enya is an Irish singer and composer. With an estimated equivalent of over 80 million albums sold worldwide, Enya is the best-selling Irish solo artist, and the second-best-selling music act from Ireland overall, after only the rock band U2. Her music has been widely recognized for its use of multi-layers of her own vocals and instrumentation, lengthened reverb, and interwoven elements of Celtic music.

Raised in the Irish-speaking region of Gweedore, Enya began her musical career in 1980 playing alongside her family’s Irish folk band Clannad. From the age of 11, Enya attended a convent boarding school in Milford, Milford College, run by the Sisters of Loreto; Enya’s education there was paid for by her grandfather. The boarding school, now Loreto Community School, was where Enya developed a taste for classical music, art, Latin, and watercolour painting. She said, ‘It was devastating to be torn away from such a large family but it was good for my music.’

Enya finished boarding school at age 17 towards the end of the 1970s, and she spent a year at college studying classical music. She previously saw herself becoming a piano teacher, as both her mother and grandmother had done, and gave piano lessons for a brief time in the early 1980s. This later evolved into composing and performing her own music. Enya states that ‘music was never far from my mind but contrary to popular belief my ambitions were in no way connected to those of my family, as I knew I wanted to have my own career and make my own mark.’

Answering The Call of Her Destiny

Enya left Clannad in 1982 to pursue a solo career, working with the former Clannad manager and producer, Nicky Ryan, and his wife Roma, as their lyricist. Nicky suggested to Enya that either she return to Gweedore ‘with no particular definite future’, or live with him and Roma in suburban Artane, Dublin ‘and see what happens, musically’, the latter of which Enya decided was best for her career.

After their bank denied them a loan, Enya reportedly sold her saxophone, which she had been learning to play at the time, and also gave piano lessons as a source of income. Nicky Ryan used what they could afford to build a recording facility in the Ryans’ garden shed, formerly a Scout hut, which they named “Aigle Studio”, after the French word for eagle. They would have breakfast and Enya would head off to the studio. Shortly after leaving Clannad and the family home in Gweedore, Enya lived with the Ryans from 1982, until 1989, when she was able to buy her own penthouse apartment in Killiney. Enya lives in the Manderley Castle in Dublin, Ireland.

Watermark was released in September 1988 and became an unexpected hit, reaching number 5 in the United Kingdom and number 25 on the Billboard 200 in the United States following its release there in January 1989. Its lead single, “Orinoco Flow“, was the last song written for the album. It was not intended to be a single at first, but Enya and the Ryans chose it after Dickins jokingly asked for a single; he knew that Enya music was not made for the Top 40 chart. Dickins and engineer Ross Cullum are referenced in the song’s lyrics. “Orinoco Flow” became an international top 10 hit and was number one in the United Kingdom for three weeks, and is credited with bringing new-age music to the mainstream market in America.

The new-found success propelled Enya to international fame and she received endorsement deals and offers to use her music in television commercials. She spent a year traveling worldwide to promote the album which increased her exposure through interviews, appearances, and live performance. In 1993 Enya won her first Grammy Award in the Best New Age Album category for ShepherdMoons. Enya was offered the opportunity to compose the film score for Titanic but declined as it would be a collaboration, rather than solely her composition and singing.

A recording of her singing “Oíche Chiúin”, an Irish-language version of “Silent Night“, appeared on the charity album A Very Special Christmas3, released in benefit of the Special Olympics in October 1997. Her song Only If was released as a single in 1997. Enya described the album as ‘like a musical diary… each melody has a little story and I live through that whole story from the beginning… your mind goes back to that day and what you were thinking. In 1998, Enya, Roma and Nicky Ryan received the Ivor Novello award for International Achievement. In 2002, Enya released “May It Be” as a single which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song. She performed the song live with an orchestra at the 74th Academy Awards ceremony in March 2002, and later cited the moment as a career highlight.

    Accolades

Enya in 2025 (from Google images)

Enya accolades include four Grammy Awards and six World Music Awards, and she holds the record as the most-nominated female Irish artist at the BRIT Awards, with four nominations. “May It Be“, her composition from the soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), received a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. In March 2025, Enya received the RTÉ Choice Music Prize Classic Irish Album award, with her 1988 breakthrough album Watermark.

In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, US sales of the album and its lead single “Only Time” surged after the song was widely used during radio and television coverage of the events, leading to its description as ‘a post-September 11th anthem’. The exposure caused A Day Without Rain to outperform its original chart performance to peak at number 2 on the Billboard 200, and the release of a maxi-single containing the original and a pop remix of “Only Time” in November 2001. Enya donated its proceeds in aid of the International Association of Firefighters. The song topped the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and went to number 10 on the Hot 100 singles. Making the song Enya highest charting in US single to date.

One thing I have learned from the life story of Enya as with any other stories I have read is that God has MADE the existence of humans to be symbiotic and that reminds me of the Zulu saying “Ubuntu Ngumuntu Gabantu” meaning a person is a person through another person. If you read through the story of Enya, you will notice that, there will never be any mention of Enya without these names: Nicky Ryan and Roma Ryan.It was this couple that actually took Enya into their house to live with them and sponsored her music career. Helping Enya to launch herself into stardom as a globally recognized and successful singer!

I personally enjoy listening to Enya songs. Her songs are ethereal with the capacity to send you into a very sublime Celestial Realm of Bliss and Elysian. For example: Orinoco Flow, Caribbean Blue, May It Be, Only Time, Ebudae, Adiemus, Wild Child, Only If, Storms in Africa. I am actually interested in adding more of her songs to my music collection. After reading through the journey and life story of Enya I have come to a conclusion that music is her destiny and I can confidently say that before Enya was born, she already had a soul contract with Nicky Ryan and Roma Ryan who would be the channel through which she would be able to fulfill her destiny as a singer. Without Nicky Ryan and Roma Ryan no one could have known the name “Enya.”

Inclusion of People with Disabilities in Employment Processes and Leadership Positions

People with disabilities have historically faced barriers to employment that limit their potential and prevent them from participating in the workforce. They are often viewed as objects of charity or as lacking the skills necessary to compete for jobs. However, people with disabilities have a valuable perspective and benefits that can contribute to a companies growth.

In today’s world, especially in Africa where unemployment rate is rare and difficult to see people with disabilities having a maximum and optimal inclusion in the labour force. With such menace; it is very pertinent to push for the inclusion of people with disabilities into the employment processes as they have been well marginalized. It must be pointed out also that the disabled—in them lies a great wealth of potential and talent yet to be tapped and unlocked. For this reason, giving them access and promote in the employment process can never be overemphasized!

According to The Understood Team, “Disability inclusion at work is about more than hiring people with disabilities. An inclusive workplace values all employees for their strengths. It offers employees with disabilities— whether visible or invisible—an equal opportunity to succeed, to learn, to be compensated fairly, and to advance. True inclusion is about embracing difference.”

    Why Disability Inclusion?

Disability inclusion is also crucial to your hiring process. If candidates face barriers during the application and interview process, or if they sense that your business is not inclusive, they’re likely to look elsewhere. Companies with strong disability inclusion programs have better access to talent and better employee retention. They have the tools they need to help their employees thrive.

    Everybody gains from disability inclusion

For the one billion women and men with disabilities, inclusion in the labour market, and in society requires the breaking down of existing barriers. By including people with disabilities, companies, individuals and society at large all win.

     The benefits of inclusive workplaces

    Access to talent
By focusing on skills rather than stereotypes, you access an untapped pool of talent.

    Increased innovation
Employees with diverse experiences have different approaches to problem solving.

    Increased engagement and retention
Employees who feel included have higher levels of loyalty and enthusiasm.

    Better reputation
Customers value companies that show a real commitment towards inclusion.

The Maternal Law Group has pointed out employers’ obligations towards People with Disabilities; which are:

    1. Employers must provide reasonable accommodations to employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job.
    2. Employers must treat people with disabilities fairly throughout the selection process, during employment, and when they remove them.
    3. Employers may not engage in any conduct that creates a hostile work environment, such as offensive jokes or teasing.

    Creating a Disability-Inclusive Workplace

To create a successful disability-inclusive workplace, employers should start by:

    1. Educating their workforce. Hiring and training people with disabilities are not enough if the rest of the employees do not know how to interact or adapt to the new work environment.
    2. Communication about accommodating individuals with disabilities should be transparent, and all employees should be involved in the process. It’s crucial to recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
    3. Companies may need to make changes to their physical environment, such as parking spots or entrance ramps, or adopt new technological applications, videos, or sign language interpreters.

Creating a disability-inclusive workplace is more than just complying with legal reforms. It is an opportunity for employers to tap into a diverse, talented workforce that benefits everyone. When employers create a culture of inclusion, they are sending a message that everyone has value. Businesses that intentionally embrace inclusivity not only benefit from diverse perspectives and talents but also contribute to positive societal change. Hiring people with disabilities not only helps them achieve better economic independence and quality of life but also builds a more inclusive and equitable workforce overall.

I was at the Oxfam Office in Maitama Abuja for a conference with People with Disabilities. A lady who is among the physically challenged persons made some profound points which I am sharing below:

According to her over 31,000,000 (thirty-one million) people are living with disability in Nigeria. She mentioned the interventions that could further help to ameliorate the reality being experienced by the PWDs to include:

    1. Tools to be accessible to the disabled people. The first step is to include persons with disabilities in the affairs of the nation. She commended Oxfam for including people living with disabilities in their meeting at the same time emphasized that disability is never homogenous.
    2. Qualified and educated women/people with disabilities should be given meaningful positions in the government as they will be in a better space to speak and represent the PWDs. Using herself as an example, she cited that her multi-lingual ability has helped to reach the hearts of the PWDs in remote/rural areas as she is able to speak Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo very fluently. According to her when she is in the northern part of Nigeria for campaign she speaks the Hausa language, when she is in the western part of Nigeria for campaign she speak Yoruba language and when she is in the Eastern part of Nigeria for campaign she speaks the Igbo language. She also cited an example where she was in a market in Oyo state for campaign. According to her, as soon as she began speaking the Yoruba language she was surrounded by all the market women as that drew their attention making it possible to reach the heart of those women and had a very successful campaign there in Oyo state.
    3. Quality services in terms of sustainable shelters/welfare and accessibility to the services even if it means giving stipends to the PWDS to enable them transport themselves to the places where the necessary facilities they need are located.
    4. Health needs. Provision of affordable (and even free) medical care for the PWDs.
    5. Training of people without disabilities. She maintained that their organization train people without disabilities which make them serve as advocate and voice for the people living with disabilities.
    6. Contextualization to suit the needs of the PWD. She mentioned that environmental factors and cultural differences matters because what works in the northern part of Nigeria might not work in the southern part of Nigeria and what works in the southern part of Nigeria might not work in the eastern part of Nigeria and same thing to the western part of Nigeria as well. She encouraged a renewed and upgraded mode of operation.

My Personal Review about the TV Series “Adolescence”

(Jamie Miller in the Adolescence TV Series. Photo credit: Netflix)

The story behind this trending TV Series titled Adolescence is about a 13-year-old schoolboy Jamie Miller who is arrested after murdering a girl in his school. The movie began in an English town in Britian UK, armed police raid a family home and arrest Jamie Miller, a 13-year-old boy, on suspicion of the murder of a classmate, Katie Leonard. Jamie is processed and held at a police station for questioning and then remanded in custody at a secure training centre. It continued with investigations at Jamie school. After being interviewed by a forensic psychologist it was revealed that Jamie has been chronically bullied via social media.

Other students, including Katie, had targeted him on Instagram, calling Jamie ugly and labelling him an incel. Jamie internalized these labels and lashes out at his psychologist. At home, Jamie family deals with the community backlash against them as they work together to cope with Jamie arrest and subsequent detention. The question now is what would you do if your teenage son was accused of murder? This is one of several questions at the heart of the new crime drama Adolescence. The gripping story unfolds in real time as the main characters from the central family to the detectives investigating the crime; search for answers in the wake of a shocking tragedy. Who is actually responsible for this crime? Why did it happen? Could it have been prevented?

I have found this TV drama “Adolescence” shocking and captivating. It has actually captivated audiences around the world. Audience all over the world are saying that it is a rare opportunity to tackle the largely hidden world of online misogyny and violence. Adolescence TV drama was released on Netflix on March 13 and since then more than 96 million people have watched the British four-episode series that begins with armed police raiding the home of a terrified 13-year-old boy accused of murdering a young girl, and ends with a raw illustration of the pain of his broken family. The action in between this Adolescence TV series, shockingly defies the initial disbelief that a child so young could commit such a violent crime! It depicts a toxic online culture known loosely as the manosphere in which common teenage male insecurities about attractiveness and romantic failure can turn into resentment and hatred of the opposite sex. Certainly, people are going to have different opinions. There are people who will watch it and think “but that boy cannot do that.”

This TV series Adolescence reached the home of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. He watched it with his teenage son and daughter. According to Starmer, “It hit home hard.” Currently, Keir Starmer is promoting a scheme to make the TV series Adolescence available to schools across Britain and encouraging a national conversation on the issues it raises. Starmer says “this isn’t a challenge politicians can simply legislate for. Believe me, if I could pull a lever to solve it, I would.” For me I have always believed that such incidents or realities of Jamie Miller cannot happen in Nigeria. But I had to think again and realized that teenagers across the world have almost the same characters. But there is a DIFFERENCE.

The realities that play out in other countries does not happen in Africa/Nigeria. Keir Starmer has demonstrated with his actions that UK has responsible leaders and elites. The leaders who have empathy, compassion and the people at heart. How many Nigerian elites or politician are willing to watch a Nigerian movie and at the same time champion the cause of promoting the movie to raise awareness and put a solution to any menace that the movie is talking about? NONE! This is where the DIFFERENCE I am talking about comes in. Unfortunately, in Nigeria issues as that of Jamie Miller are been swept under the carpet. Even if it gets exposed, bribery and corruption will give the culprits the chance to get away with their crimes.

After a meeting with Keir Starmer in Downing Street, British writer Jack Thorne, revealed that Adolescence was to be rolled out forfree across all UK secondary schools as an educational material for students—not just in Britain but the entire United Kingdom. I ask again, how many Nigerian or Black elites and politicians can do what Keir Starmer have done? NONE! Keir Starmer have demonstrated to be a man of the people, a man with a heart of gold and a true leader! A virtue that CANNOT be found among Black elites and politicians.

“Seek Ye First The Kingdom of God”

This statement is from the Bible. The complete statement is “seek ye first the Kingdom and his righteousness. Every other thing shall be added to you.” It has been used in songs and I have actually read about it from the Bible. You might ask: what is the Kingdom of God? How do you seek it? Why should you seek it?

    The Kingdom of God

In the Bible, we are told a Paradise Earth that is awaiting mankind. A New World where peace, bliss, glory and eternal life will be for all mankind. According to the teachings of the Church, the Kingdom of God is only possible after the second coming of Jesus Christ. They say that sinners will not enter into the Kingdom of God. I am going to have a different interpretation aside from the Biblical description. Even if my interpretation is different, it is in harmony with what God Kingdom is about. Yes, it does not have to fit with the church teachings.

My Own Understanding about the Kingdom of God

In my own understanding the Kingdom of God is an Alternative Reality. A completely awakened phase for all of Humanity into a Higher Consciousness; where at the time all of mankind must have awakened to Higher Consciousness and that will also include Earth. The Kingdom of God is Alternative Reality. Pattern of living in the limiting 3D mundane lifestyle would have expired and become a thing of the past; because at this time all of creation must have awakened to a higher vibrational lifestyle where levitation, teleporting, direct connection to the Angelic realms etc are made possible without difficulties or restrictions. In this Alternative Reality, magic, miracles, abundance, bliss, love, compassion, harmony, elegance, panache, nonduality, constant divinity, extravagant grace, positive vibrations/energies, peace, empyrean and immortality will be a CONSTANT MANIFESTATION.

Where will the Dark Realms, Satan and Negative Entities Be?

Wondering where the dark realms and negative entities will be at that time? Well, I can tell you for free that in this Alternative Reality; the dark realms must have completed their cycles of existence and operation and would be put out of existence. Or alternatively will be subjected into eternal condemnation—disarmed from influencing humanity.

How are we going to Procreate in Alternative Reality? (AKA God Kingdom)

Procreation was allowed for Earth to be filled up with human beings. As it is now Earth has gotten more than enough humans. Remember there are others who have died that will be returned back to life to experience an awakening into a Higher Consciousness. In this Alternative Reality (God Kingdom); there will be no procreation. We would have become Immortal and in a higher vibration like the Angels. There will be nonduality; everyone will be living in their full divine rights. There will be no political organization and religious organizations anymore. Pure spirituality, elegance, panache, connection to the Greater Realms and Empyrean will be our constant experience and manifestation.

Why Should You Seek the Kingdom of God?

If you want to live a fulfilling life. One of joy and success, then you want to seek the Kingdom of God. That is practicing how to live in an Alternative Reality. This Earth is filled with hiccups, obstacles and heaviness. Practicing living in Alternative Reality (God Kingdom) is a sure way to put you in a positive momentum! A path of dominion, authority, power, victory, success, wealth and happiness. You become a Pillar of Light and a force to be reckoned with!

How do you Seek the Kingdom of God?

Seeking the Kingdom is an everyday work. It is not tied to a church or religion. You can seek the Kingdom of God by befriending your Guides and Angels. Reading spiritual books that are aligned with (true) spirituality. The Bible can be a good start; but there are other books too. You want to also include meditation and spending time in nature in seeking God Kingdom. Apart from the Angels mentioned in the Bible, there are other Spirit Guides (benevolent ones) working in harmony with the plan of God Kingdom to help Humanity arise to a Higher Consciousness. Example of such Spirit Guides are: Buddha, Kwan Yin, Krishna, Ganesha, Lazaris, Galexis and many others.

Unfortunately, religion and church has brainwashed many people (ESPECIALLY Black people) into believing that without going to church you cannot have access to God. Keep in mind that God is way too vast to be caged in a religion or church. For example, when Jesus wanted to choose his disciples, he went to the mountains (spending time in nature), during his fast for forty days and forty night he spent his time in the wilderness (spending time in nature), Jesus was baptized inside the Jordan River (spending time in nature). The 3 wisemen that visited baby Jesus Christ in the manger were magicians (even if it was abbreviated to Maggi. They were also astrologers). This shows us how vast and multidimensional God is. God is there in the waters, mountains, forest and wind. And He can use whatever he please to accomplish whatever mission he desires to! Sadly, religion has limited and caged most of humanity (especially Black people).

I thought I would share these videos with you so that you gain an idea of how to start seeking the Kingdom of God. I hope it helps you!

The Ignorance of Sex Related Death

Death is part of human existence. It is even in our soul contract as we are here on earth; people die through different means. Just today, I was reading the newsheadlines and I watched a video of two adults in Kenya who were tied” or “locked” into each other. It is a long story but the summary is that the two adults were having sex in Airbnb apartment they have rented and it happened: the man was stuck inside the woman. The Airbnb attendant tried but could not; they have to call police officials who came to the rescues of these two adults and carried them off to the hospital.

There are many beliefs surrounding this kind of situations. It has happened in Nigeria here and other parts of Africa; according to how I heard it and according to people who have actually witnessed it happened to other people: it is believed that a wife or husband can use juju to make a cheating partner to be locked during sex with another person. They say it is a way of finding out if your wife or husband is cheating on you.

Another thing I would like to clarify is that: sex is an integral and natural part of human existence. Apart from being tied during sexual intercourse, many people have lost their lives during sexual activities. Many people often use aphrodisiacs just to ensure they have maximum sexual pleasures. I am not against using aphrodisiacs. Anything you do with your body is your personal business. You decided where you put your body and who you share it with.

When I was in college, news came to our hostel that a boy who wanted to have a MAXIMUM sexual pleasure met with a friend of his and then this friend gave him a substance to drink to maintain a LONGLASTING erection! So this guy took this aphrodisiac; even after the sexual activities his penis did not go down. According the story the boy was rushed to the hospital where doctors have to work on him to restore his erection into normalcy. I have also read a story in the magazine of two students in the university who died during sexual intercourse. How people came to know about their death: after noticing their absence from school and in the hostel; that is when they decided to knock on the door of the boy and no response was coming. The friends and neighbours also called his number but it was not been answered. After some hours they decided to break the door. It was when they broke the door that they saw the dead body of the boy and his girlfriend alongside other aphrodisiacs in the room.

One neighbour who always complained about her concubine not been able to satisfy her sexually because she has a high libido learned the hard way. After complaining to the man that he was not satisfying her; the man had to take an aphrodisiac and visited her. That day, hell was let loose—it was neighbours who came to the rescue of the woman; broke the door open and pulled out the man. The woman was actually hospitalized.

Last weekend in Abuja, a 31-year-old man died in a hotel room with a sex worker. It happened in Gwagwalada, Abuja. A man identified as Ajayi Nicholas slumped and died inside a sex worker’s hotel room at New Kutunku community in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT.

A resident of New Kutunku, Josiah Gabriel, told DAILY TRUST on Tuesday that the incident happened at the weekend around 5pm when the deceased checked into a hotel room in the area. He said the 31-year-old man slumped when he was about to leave the room and the woman rushed to alert the manager of the hotel. However, the hotel manager identified the deceased and rushed to report the incident to his relations, who are residing within the area.

He said the deceased was taken to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead. According to him, some policemen from the outpost in the area came to the hotel for investigation. He said, “After that, the man’s corpse was deposited at the mortuary, while the lady in question was detained by the police.” A police officer at the outpost, who preferred anonymity, confirmed the incident, saying the deceased’s corpse was deposited at the mortuary after an autopsy.

There have been countless cases like this one. Why are my sharing all of these stories? Why did I decide to talk about sexual activities? You know most people think when you engage in sexual discussions; then it means you are spoilt and blah blah blah…but the truth is sex education is very important. I can confidently tell you that sex and pornography are part of human existence and has always existed since ancient times.

My purpose of writing this blogpost is to REMOVE IGNORANCE from people because ignorance is a BIG disease! When you are not informed you are deformed! Why do most people use aphrodisiacs? Because they want to have a MAXIMUM sexual pleasure; and not only that: with the invention of smartphones, internet and computers pornography has now become a CHEAP fast-food that is available to ALL! People watch pornography and they want to have the same experience those pornstars in the porn videos are having. I know you do not want to hear this—BUT, I doubt if you can actually have the exact sexual experiences/pleasures those pornstars are having during their sexual activities. After watching porn videos people want to try out what they have watched with their partners WITHOUT being aware of these important factors:

    1. Pornstars have health teams that takes care of them.
    2. Porn videos are NOT shot at a stretch. When you watch porn videos and you see two adults immersed in HARDCORE sexual intimacy boisterously—KNOW this: porn videos are shot in scenes. If you are familiar with video editing, you will understand what a transition means. You notice that transitions are used in porn videos; although transitions are used in every videos. Pornstars go on intermissions during shooting. So, they can shoot one scene in a day and go for a one week intermission. After the one week they can shoot the other scene. It depends on the type of script they are playing out. Intermission can be three days, one month, etc before they continue shooting the remaining scenes. It also depends on the length of the video they are shooting.  The porn actors can shoot one scene with hardcore and other scenes with softcore or a mixture of both. It all depends on the type of script they are playing out.
    3. Porn videos are shot at different times of the day. Before shooting a porn video, they check out for the time of the day when they will be in a high energy: either early hours of the morning; night, evening or even afternoon. The weather is also put into consideration.

I hope this little information helps anyone out there who is so obsessed with having maximum sexual pleasure. Remember, health is wealth. Sex is not a do or die affair. While it is good to have fun; do it wisely! While it is understandable that sometimes one can feel the desire to unleash and indulge in all of the animalistic sexual desires; you also want to be careful! Some people have low libido, some are average and some have high libidos. No matter what, discretion and decency cannot be overemphasized when it comes to engaging in sexual intercourse. I am going to end this post with words from the Good Witch: “Moderation is the one place where all philosophies meet. Both Human and Divine.”

Top 10 Smartest Dog Breeds to Own as Pet

I love animals and I love dogs. In this post I am sharing about 10 breeds of dogs to keep as a pet. Are you an animal lover? Do you have love for dogs? If yes you can let me know your favorite dog breeds in the comment section. Just as humans have different types of intelligence and aptitudes for different skills, dogs have different areas of intelligence and things they’re good at. Here is a list of 10 of the smartest dogs breeds you can own

    Poodle:

They may look like accessory dogs, but don’t let the poodle’s elaborate hairstyles fool you. In any size, from tiny toys to small miniatures to large standards, poodles are surprisingly clever. First bred in Germany as duck-hunting dogs and water retrievers, these are versatile, performance-oriented dogs that crave attention and love to show off. This may explain why they’re as much at ease doing tricks in a circus ring as they are hunting birds in the field. Poodles are also excellent companion dogs, especially the smaller varieties. But all sizes excel at learning tricks and obedience, as well as a number of dog sports. Poodles are people-oriented and eager to please, but need a good deal of daily exercise and healthy outlets for their energy and cleverness.

      Siberian Huskies

Huskies are known for their striking beauty and wolf-like build, but they require an active lifestyle to thrive. Huskies that are trapped indoors all day often grow bored and restless and develop behavior issues. However, when huskies are in their natural environment, they truly shine. These dogs were bred to pull heavy loads during cold Siberian winters, and they love doing strenuous work. Huskies are excellent at carrying equipment on a hike, and their endurance is impressive.

      German Shepherd

The German shepherd is widely regarded as the Swiss army knife of dogs. These are highly intelligent and adaptable dogs that are as courageous as they are skilled at problem solving, which makes them excellent at police and military work. German shepherd dogs are loyal and loving, form tight and protective bonds with their families, and can be reserved toward strangers. They’re energetic, driven and easily bored. Like the border collie, they’re happiest when they have a job to do. German shepherds need early socialization, ongoing obedience training and frequent exercise and activity to stay calm. They may bark at strangers or to alert you to possible danger, and they can also be quite vocal, expressing themselves with grunts and whines.

      Golden Retriever

Golden retrievers may not be the most intelligent dog on the list, but they top the list of smart dogs who make great family pets, according to Fratt. “They are generally excellent family dogs that are even-keeled and go-with-the-flow,” Fratt says. This versatile breed is great at hunting and retrieving, search and rescue, and makes excellent service dogs for the blind and disabled. Goldens are intelligent and easy to train, but they’re also sensible in a way that makes them more stable and reliable than more high-strung smart breeds. But for all their seriousness while at work, they’re also fun-loving dogs who enjoy their playtime. They have energy and stamina that make them ideal for keeping you company on long walks or runs, although low-impact activities will go easier on their joints.

      Doberman Pinscher

Doberman pinschers may look intimidating, but only because that’s often their job. Underneath that fierce demeanor is a sweet, fun-loving soul that’s eager to please. Dobermans are quick on the uptake, learning quickly to respond to commands. Bred to be personal protection dogs, Doberman pinschers don’t like to get too far from their people. They’re a versatile breed which does well at police and military work and search and rescue, as well as being good service and therapy dogs. As natural guardians, they bark to alert as well as to warn off strangers and perceived threats. They’re another high-energy breed that needs lots of exercise and engagement, as well as socialization and obedience training in order to be happy and well-adjusted. Lacking these things, they may become bossy, destructive and difficult to manage.

      Shetland Sheepdog

These smart dogs can be trained to stop barking on command. Their wariness of strangers and tendency to “yell” at them makes them excellent little watch dogs. Like most herding breeds, Shelties are athletic and energetic. They need a moderate amount of exercise and mental stimulation that can be satisfied with daily walks, although they also do great at dog sports.

      Labrador Retriever

While Labrador Retriever are highly intelligent and easy to train, what sets them apart is their ability to self-train through observation and imitation. This makes them excellent at search and rescue, as well as drug and bomb detection. Labrador Retriever also make great service dogs. These active water dogs also love swimming and dock diving.

      Jack Russell Terriers

Farmhouses and barns are often faced with pest problems, particularly when rats and mice seek protection from the winter cold. Jack Russell Terriers are bred to hunt down and dig up pests wherever they hide, so they can solve an infestation problem in short order. These stubborn terriers need plenty of training and human interaction, but their hardworking, loyal nature makes them an excellent investment.

      Beagle

Conveniently sized with short, low-maintenance coats, the Beagle is a smooth-coated dog breed that’s both peaceful and cheerful. They do require some exercise, so a fenced-in yard is an ideal setting for them. A hunting breed with great curiosity, these hounds enjoy exploring and keeping their noses active.  Beagle white-tipped tails make them easier to see and track through the woods, according to Embrace Pet Insurance

      Rottweiler

Large and powerful, Rottweilers are sometimes misunderstood because of their stature. However, they are actually one of the most intelligent dog breeds—easy to train and willing to work. Their broad chests and muscular bodies stand out, but Rottweilers have even bigger hearts and make for devoted companions.

Remembering Christy Essien Igbokwe: The “Nigerian Lady of Songs”

When it comes to Nigerian music; there are people who have left indelible mark that will stay for eternity. There are people that without mentioning their names the Nigerian music industry will not be complete; among such people are Christy Essien-Igbokwe. Christy is affectionately and honourarily known as “Nigeria’s Lady of Songs.” Her hit track is Seun Rere; this song is actually one of my favorite songs and the only song of her that I know. Although she has other songs like Tete Nu Na Ula, Ife, Hear the Call and Give Me a Chance. But this one is her hit track—a song that made waves all over Nigeria and beyond.

Christy Essien Igbokwe: Wikipedia page picture

Growing up, they always play Seun Rere on the radio. The song was sung in Yoruba language; thank God my mom understands Yoruba very fluently; I literally fell in love with the song Seun Rere each time I hear it play on the radio so I asked my mom what Christy was saying in the song and she told me the interpretations (side note: my mom was born and raised in Western Nigeria: the part of Nigeria where the Yoruba tribe are mostly and densely located). The word itself “Seun Rere” means Thank Goodness or Thank God.

The theme of the song Seun Rere talks about being obedient to our parents. I will share the lyrics of the song with you (the Yoruba lyrics and the English translation). I was actually playing the song on my headphone at the time of typing this article. A very beautiful song I tell you! Let me also tell you that whatever gave Christy the inspiration to write that song must be commendable! Here is the lyrics of the song (in Yoruba and English)

      Biography

Her complete name is Christy Uduak Essien-Igbokwe. She was born on 11 November 1960. Christy was a musician and actress born in Okat, Onna, Akwa Ibom State. Her mother died when she was 12; she then lived in Aba, Abia, with a friend of her mother, who encouraged her singing career and bought her a second-hand cassette player to record her songs. She sang in IgboIbibioEfikHausaYoruba, and English. Her native language is Ibibio.

      Career

Christy began her musical career in secondary school, singing at clubs such as Unikoko in Aba. She appeared as a regular on the NTA Aba variety shows Now Sound and Ukaonu’s Club. In 1976, she joined the cast of The New Masquerade as Akpenor, the wife of the cantankerous character Jegede Sokoya (Claude Eke). She released her debut album (Freedom) the following year. Essien most successful album was the 1981 Ever Liked My Person? (produced by Lemmy Jackson).

In her later years, she performed with her second son, Chinwuba Kenechukwu Kaka, at the January 2009 Inspire Africa benefit concert and participated in the MTN Musical Festival later that year. Chinwuba Kenechukwu Kaka is a hip-hop artist and producer and the father of her granddaughter Christiana Chizaramekpeleamaka Ijeoma. Essien’s album, Ever Liked My Person? was certified platinum in Nigeria. A biography titled “The will of God” was produced and sponsored by Exxon Mobil in the 90s to show her life and career so far at the time. Her granddaughter has remixed the song, Seun Rere.

      Death

Essien-Igbokwe died of gastrointestinal disease on 30 June 2011 at age 50 at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

      Black Lives Matter Interview

Today, I thought I would share the interview I did on American blog with Alesha Escobar and I thought to share with you.

What inspired you to write a book on the Black Lives Matter movement, and how did your personal background influence your perspective?

The killing of George Floyd was what gave me the inspiration to start writing this book. When I first heard the news on the radio and social media, I was shocked and traumatized. The way George Floyd died is capable enough to make anyone who has a good conscience teary-eyed. I was literally traumatized, overwhelmed and filled with goosebumps. For good one week I kept touching my neck and imagining all the terrible pain George Floyd had to go through before he died. I still remember that evening in 2020 my brother and I were watching the news of George Floyd death on Facebook and I was screaming because of the population. My mom was drawn by our scream and she came out of the kitchen to ask us what the matter was. Then I told her—she asked me to bring her eye-glass for her and I did.  We began watching the video; then she said “this place does not look like Nigeria even if I am seeing Black people on the screen. It looks like London or America. Then I told her it was America and what happened. She was reading through the names of the places the masses were moving with protests (Minnesota, New York, Georgia, Miami etc).

My mom asked what George Floyd did for him to be killed by the police and I explained. Then she asked what the Black people were doing and I told her that the Black people were protesting. As we were watching the video; my mom asked a very thought-provoking question that led me further into investigating the narrative of Black Americans. The question she asked was: “Is this protest going to stop the killing and maltreatment of Black Americans”? She removed her eye-glass, nodded her head in disappointment and sadness and went back to the kitchen. Now to be honest, the protest did not stop the killing of the Black Americans; because even during the protest; many Black Americans were still killed.

I will never forget the cold-blooded killing of a Black American man during New Year. What was his crime? He was shooting the usual shooting of jubilation people normally do in his compound. Other White people were also doing the shooting. The White policeman that confronted him did not even give him a chance to speak and he shot him instantly! That was a very terrible thing to do. My personal background has some influences on my views because back here in Africa we have similar realities to that of Black Americans. Ours here is being perpetuated by the leaders. For example, in Nigeria there is a STRONG disunity and division between the Northern Nigerians and Eastern Nigerians. There is also a STRONG division and disunity between the Western Nigerians and the Eastern Nigerians. The Northern Nigerians do not see other Nigerians from the East and South as Nigerian enough. There is a long, long history behind it. That will be a topic for another day. In fact, we as Black people still have in-house-Black-to-Black racism. I am from Southern Nigeria (Delta State). I will share with you what someone from Northern Nigeria told me. It is the second time someone from Northern Nigeria is saying it. And it is something we have been seeing happening. We were in a group for African Youths. It was a virtual meeting we had with members of the AU (African Union); it was on Friday and we were to carry out some tasks. The Northerners in the group said that the timing for the task would interfere with their worship in the mosque; so we told them that they could go for their worship since there would be a recorded version and they refused. Insisting that the timing for the task MUST be postponed to suit them. All efforts to try to make them understand proved abortive. Here is what someone from the group said—a Northern Nigerian person.  “I commend you for engaging people like them. The average Northern person does not see any bad in a person so long they practice the same religion and does not see any good in anyone so long they are of different religion and tribe. I am from the North but for my sanity I do not engage with them” (the Northerners). Keep in mind that the Northern Nigerians are predominantly Muslims.

How does the movement resonate with people in your home country, and how did you approach bridging the cultural experiences between Africa and African-American communities in your book?

The Black Lives Matter movement resonates with every Africans because it is a call for FREEDOM. But unfortunately, that call has not been heard or answered. There is no much cultural gap between African-American and Africa because the African-Americans are from Africa. The truth of the matter is that Black people do not have freedom yet. You would think that a very illustrious person such as Barack Obama who has been a President of the United States of America would be able to liberate Black Americans from the injustice, maltreatment and racism they are subjected to but unfortunately, he could not achieve that. Over here in Africa, we only have “puppets” as rulers. These puppets DANCE to the tune of their White Masters. If you know the Colossal influence the Caucasian leaders have on Black “leaders” you will be shocked. Suffice to say that the Caucasian leaders have Black “leaders” under their feet (I mean the Black leaders are under the feet of the Caucasian leaders). The wishes of the Caucasian leaders are the COMMAND of the Black “leaders.” We have many Caucasians here in Nigeria. They live as Kings and Queens, gets the Nigerian Visa at a blink of the eye! But for a Nigerian to get an American Visa, Canadian Visa, German, UK, Australian, Singaporean Visa it would take lot of protocols and waiting.

What themes in the book do you feel are universal, and which ones speak specifically to the Black experience in relation to social justice?

The theme of Racism, Slavery and Injustice being faced by the Blacks. It is so shameful, sad and disappointing that Black people all over the world are synonymous to racism and maltreatment. For example, when a Black American woman traveled to Barcelona Spain. As she was exchanging greetings with the Spanish woman the Spanish woman asked her where in Africa she was from and the Black American replied that she was American. You would not believe what the Spanish woman told her. I quote: “You are not American enough.” This was what the Spanish woman told her. That statement is very deep. It is a reminder to the Black American woman on her origin and root. It is also a reminder on how her forefathers were shipped from Africa in shackles and slaves to work in the plantations of United States of America. Akila Davis a Black American woman who works in the media in North Carolina has never been allowed to wear her original African dreadlocks because the White people did not see it as something beautiful. Only on the Juneteenth day was she able to have the freedom to wear her original African dreadlocks.

Something happened in a classroom in Illinois between a White teacher and her students. The White teacher was teaching and the students were making noise in the classroom; instead of calming the students she told the Black students that “they (the Black students) would have been her ‘Field Slaves’ if it wasn’t for the Constitution, they would be her slaves.”

In Kansas City, a Black American man Jon “Mike” Rone Jr. was stabbed to death by a White man whom he was engaged in an altercation. The police arrested the White man who killed the Black man on the reason that he (the White man) was disturbing the peace of the environment. Not that he killed a person. That clearly shows that the Black Lives Matter movement has not achieved its aim and the Black Lives has not mattered.

We have seen Black people in America face all kinds of killings and injustices. From Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Florida, Wisconsin Kansas, etc. unfortunately the Black people have not been able to rise above this maltreatment, stigma and label—both in Africa and outside Africa. If you notice the Asians in America do not live in the same reality as the Black Americans do because the Asians have unity, love and respect among themselves. The Asians knows their roots and as a matter of fact, the Asians were not brought into America as slaves.

Going back to Africa: South Africa is a country that is famous for Apartheid. A very terrible trend that has stuck with South Africans. Even if Nelson Mandela sacrificed his life for 27 years in prison fighting against apartheid—I am sad to say that Nelson Mandela did not win the battle to end Apartheid. One would think that a very visionary and luminary person as Nelson Mandela would be able to stop Apartheid in South Africa and give his Black people a total liberation but unfortunately that could not be possible as the White minority in South Africa are the ones who still drives the economy and are in control. South Africa enjoyed a little Golden Age during the reign of Nelson Mandela as president. There are places that are referred to as “Whites only” in South Africa. In 2016, a White South African woman Penny Sparrow labelled all the Black South Africans as monkeys.

If I tell you that South Africa was built by the Whites I am being honest because I talk with evidence not with emotions. Johannesburg, Witwatersrand, Waterfront, Pretoria, Cape Town, Pietermaritzburg, Transvaal, Durban East London, Port Elizabeth, King Williams Town, King James Town, Elandsfontein, Bloemfontein, Sun City, to mention but a few these are not African names. These are all beautiful places in South Africa built by the White people. I will not forget the beautiful Krugersdorp-Kruger National Park in South Africa. It was built by the Whites. Till today apartheid continues to exist in South Africa. For example, of recent, Black South Africans students are seen being auctioned off as slaves in a school in Cape Town, South Africa by their fellow White students.

The same thing has happened in Illinois, USA where a White teenage was auctioning his Black friend in craigslist as a slave. The White teenage posted a picture of his Black friend with the title “Slave for Sale.”

An American woman Elizabeth Billingsley said: “If we are White people, it is as a result of the choices made by our forefathers. If we are Black people, it is also a choice made by our forefathers.”

This picture was posted on Facebook by a Black American man from Louisiana USA. In the Facebook post he captioned it “The problem of Black people.” Do you understand what the illustration in this picture means?

To further explain what Elizabeth said; I will quote a Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan

“Until Black Lives Matter to Blacks—Nobody Cares.” Cynthia Morgan

“It all goes back to when it all started. White people bought slaves from who? BLACK people, and who are these slaves? Black people. We sold ourselves out and lost our respect the day this trade took place. A White man cannot have respect for a race that sold their own race to other race not for marriage or better life but for slavery. White people being smart enough then they thought superior and gained it.

Have you ever thought it could have been the other way round? Like the Whites could have been in this position right now? But one race was just smarter at that point in time. Now our forefathers already made that mistake. Can we correct it? Yes. How? By gaining our respect and equality and its not by fighting these White people, its about knowing ourselves and finding our respect and in doing so, regrets and blames won’t help us.

White people have every right to be proud and do whatever pleases them. Its only natural, that’s how people act when they see all your comfort and life depends on them. What we are fighting is more than just color thing. It’s more of mentality problems. The only reason why white cops don’t and wouldn’t kill a white man is because they respect themselves and they know what they have put into building their nation. It’s hard before you see a white man pull a white man down intentionally.

You all can’t even come back to Africa because Africa is not ready for ya’ll. Most of you forgot your roots and stayed angry that they sold your forefathers out but somehow you still prefer it there in America. Black people might no longer be in chains of a white man physically but somehow they still are mentally. We need to build our own so we can earn our own respect back. Put some respect in you as a Black man, else we are always going to be 2nd choice.”

Can you share some of the challenges you faced in crafting a narrative around such a complex and emotionally charged topic?

I did not face any challenge because it is a reality happening to Black people all over the world and even here in Africa. The only thing was I had to make up my mind to write this book. It took discipline, courage, time and dedication.

What kind of research did you conduct, and were there any specific events or individuals that deeply shaped the story you told?

I conducted a very extensive and in-depth online research from actual life stories. I made sure that all information are from real people and real life experiences with no sugarcoating, assumptions and hypocrisy. That is why for every story or topic I mention or write about in this issue of Black Lives Matter; there is a source to that information as it is. Yes, the event of George Floyd and other events of the horrible and gory events that happened to Black people in Kansas City, North Carolina, Louisiana, etc and the reality we as Black people are experiencing back home in Africa were what shaped the story in this book. It was a lot of sacrifice! I had to painstakingly read through every actual life stories—accuracy and authenticity was my watchword before, during and after my writing this book on Black Lives Matter.

How do you hope your readers—especially those outside of the Black community—will respond to the message in your book?

The people who are outside of Black community find it difficult to relate to the reality of Black people. Because they do not live in the same reality that Black people are living in. The Forefathers of non-Black people were wise enough to not sell their own out to slavery. The forefathers of non-Black people have laid a very good foundation for their posterity. This is something that Black people have missed out on! Remember I mentioned what the Oklahoman woman (Elizabeth Billingsley) said. I am sure that non-Black people will understand the message in my book and respond to it positively because the message in my book carries TRUTH with it.

I have a deep compassion for Black Americans and Black people. For every Black person; there is inside trauma and negative patterns they are living with. This is something passed down from the Black ancestors. Only very few Black people have been to liberate themselves out of these negative patterns and invisible cords. I watched a Black American man saying “our brothers in Africa hate us so much that is why they sold us out into slavery.” That was during the killing of a Black man in Wisconsin USA.

Black Americans do not like associating with Africa because there is no good connection existing between them and Africa. It is not their fault that they are being treated the way are being treated today. It is a foundation the Black forefathers laid and it will require a miracle to break this (evil) chain and pattern. I encourage every Black person to always do a meditation and personal liberation from negative Ancestral patterns that have been following Black people.  Whether you believe it or not, the things our forefathers have done affects us—until we awaken to a consciousness of it and breaks that covenant or the chain. It takes a LOT of spiritual muscles. That is why even in the Old Testament it was said the sins of the forefathers will continue to visit the children up to the third and fourth generations. This is what is affecting Black people.

Another part of the problem is that Black lives have not mattered to Blacks so you cannot expect other races to give you what your own kind are not giving to you. If the African Union (AU) knows what it is doing it would seek to pave way for the protection, liberation and betterment of the Black people.  There is a lot of work to be done on the issue of Black people.

When Lazaris came to South Africa some years ago he tapped into the energy of the land and made a very profound observation about Africa. I will quote him: “Africa has a unique relationship with pain and suffering and this is evidenced by the genocide, starving and poverty in Africa. Africa needs healing. Africa also has a unique gift to heal the pain and suffering. It is in the form of a unique magic but it is lost in the land, in the minerals and in the animals that make up this land.  It is hidden in the corruption, and in the pain and in the suffering in Africa.”

How this Nigerian Female Singer Distinguished Herself from Fellow Singers

      Niniola (Nigerian singer and songwriter)

Fame and Fortune comes with a lot of stress and inconveniences. It takes a lot of maturity, wisdom and spirituality to handle a Celebrity status and being a Public Figure. Many female artists in the Nigerian music industry have always been in one drama or the other. Only very few artists are able to maintain a clean reputation and live without drama. There is one artist who has caught my attention and her songs are topnotch too. This female Nigerian artist have really distinguished herself; suffice to say that she knows her onion. And she is honorarily known as the Queen of Afro-House; in my own perspective she truly deserves this title. You would ask: who is this artist? Her name is Niniola!

      Niniola Biography

Niniola was born on born 15 December 1986 as Niniola Apata to the family of Rt. Brigadier General Simeon Olaosebikan Apata and Mrs. Margaret Apata in Lagos State. She is known professionally as Niniola, a singer and songwriter. Niniola is a Nigerian singer and sognwriter. She is the direct elder sister to Teni. Niniola began her journey to limelight after she participated in the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa in 2013. She released her debut single “Ibadi”, and was nominated for Most Promising Act to Watch at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

      Education

Niniola began her education both primary and secondary school education at Apata Memorial High School, and she earned a bachelor of education certificate from the University of Lagos.[8] She comes from a polygamous family where she was the sixth of ten children, raised by three mothers and a father who was killed in 1995

      Music Career

According to Niniola, her musical influences are: Dolly PartonWhitney HoustonCeline DionThe CranberriesMadonnaBeyoncé and Angélique Kidjo. During an interview with Gbolahan Adeyemi of NGWide in 2015, Niniola expressed her fondness for singing in Yoruba, citing that it enhances the beauty of song delivery. As of 2018 Niniola’s style of music was described according to BET as “a mixture of afrobeats and house music.” Niniola released the Sarz-produced single “Maradona” in 2017. The song spent 13 weeks on South Africa’s Metro FM chart, retaining the number 1 position for 6 weeks. Niniola earned nominations at the 2018 BET Awards and SAMAs for “Maradona”. In 2018 DJ Snake teamed up with Niniola and created Maradona Riddim a remix to her previously released hit Maradona. She received nods from Canadian rapper Drake and American record producer Timbaland.

Some of the hit songs of Niniola which are actually my favorites are Designer and All Eyes on Me. These songs are truly a must watch and she displayed panache in the videos. Believe me, the video qualities of the videos are topnotch! I Another thing that makes me admire Niniola is the fact that she is able to sing in her mother tongue of Yoruba. Being able to sing in one’s mother tongue is another sign of being highly talented. I always enjoy playing Designer and All Eyes on Me on repeat. For example, in the song Designer; she said:

      Awon kon like Gucci
      Awon kon like Fendi
      Awon kon like Seruti
      E mi o like ehh
      Awon kon like Gucci
      Awon kon like Ferrari
      Awon kon like Designer

Na the way you dey do me
Na the wa you dey do me
Boy I like the way you dey do me
      I Like the way

Laarun Laarun La shi shey laarun laarun
Laarun Laarun La shi shey laarun laarun
Laarun Laarun jaiye lo laarun laarun
Laarun Laarun jaiye lo laarun laarun Let me kiss you kpa
      Wine your waist jukpa
      E mi man jerukpa
      Wine your waist jukpa
If I am going to be honest with you; I would tell you that the lyrics of Designer by Niniola are enchanting and beautiful. The lyrics of All Eyes on Me are cool too. From the beat and rhythm of these In the song All Eyes on Me she said in part:

Ma kesekese wa sinu party yi now
Ma kesekese wa sinu party yi now
Tori boucner wa leyin ‘le kun wa ti ri

All eyes on me when I enter the party oh e
All eyes on me when I enter the party e (All eyes on me)
Ma kesekese wa sinu party yi now
Mo ni ma rin gbere gbere wa sinu party yi now

      Won gbe, wan gba
      Morire gba

      On Being an Independent Artist

In a recent interview with TVC she explained why she has chosen to be a solo artist. According to Niniola she turned down offers from record labels to sign her because she is wary of the business side of music. According to her, various labels have approached her, but she chose to remain independent. She explained that being an independent artist gives her creative freedom.

“I have been an independent artist for 10 years. There are pros and cons of signing with a record label. I have seen the business side of doing music which a lot of people don’t see, they just focused only on making music. “Being an independent artist gives me the opportunity to also do what I want. I’m in charge of my creativity. A label wanted to sign me after my debut single but I was skeptical because I didn’t want anyone to switch my style. Because at that time, nobody was doing Afro-house. They can dictate what you do because they are the ones financing you. For me, creative freedom is one of the major pros of being an indie artist,” she said. Niniola also disclosed that she is an introvert but music brings out the extrovert in her.

For Niniola to be able to maintain her music career as a solo artist means that money is her servant. Trust me, she has had a very successful music career as she currently has over one million followers on Instagram. But above all, she has maintained a clean reputation devoid of drama like is common with many artists.

Discovering Your Heritage: The Power of Ancestral Connections

There are 2 connections we have with our Ancestors. This connections can be different for everyone depending on the family history, covenant and ancestral patterns that exists in that family. The first connection I will talk about is the connection to know your root. To know where you are from and know your culture; that is why every sane parents should make sure their children knows their roots. Knowing your root has its own level blessing, peace and freedom that comes with it. I have seen countless times where people who were born in faraway lands or live in faraway lands have to trace back their roots to connect with their ancestors just to feel the freedom, joy, peace and blessing that comes from knowing where you are. Connecting with your ancestors is not literally you going to the shrine to do libation and such. It is knowing who you and where you are from. This connection often involves getting to know your hometown, country, state and family members. The land which walk as your root gives you a level of freedom, inner peace and pride–in you knowing that THIS is where I am from.

The other “connection” to ancestor is the one of liberation. In this connection to your ancestors. Your aim is to visit your ancestors (energetically) to remove yourself from every karmic debt, covenant and negative patterns that have been existing in your family. This kind of patterns usually creates chaos, setbacks, misfortunes , evils and other kinds of negativity in the life of that person because you are still under the influence of the ancestral covenant of darkness. So the question is how do you connect with your ancestors? And how do you liberate yourself from ancestral negative covenant and patterns hampering your success? I will share with you a prayer for the ancestors written by Abby Wynne. Keep in mind that there are other ways you can explore….but I just loved this prayer from Abby Wynne; since I subscribe to her newsletter I was able to get this prayer from her newsletter and I thought I would share with us. I hope you find it helpful. But keep in mind that other extra works are required to back it up even as you pray to liberate yourself from the negative ancestral patterns that you may have been carrying unknowingly to you!

      For the Ancestors

I call on my ancestors and say thank you for all you endured so that I could be here. I appreciate you. I break the chains you carried through the generations. It stops right here, with me. I know some of you don’t understand, some envy, some anger, but it is my time now. I release the bonds, chains, trauma, patterns and anything that is holding me back anything that held you back so that we can blossom. I know some of you celebrate with me, clap my successes, weep when I fall down…It is because of you I get back up again. It is because of you, I push through

We evolve and grow – each generation because of the works of the hands of the last generations. To my great, great, great, great, greats. I honour you. Each one of you, those that I knew and those of you that I will never know, To all of you. I know you in my heart. And you know me and together, unity.

May November bring abundance, uplifting opportunities, progress, higher vibrational lifestyle, constant Divinity, sweetness and joy

      The BEST Speech Ever Made!

Don’t Miss A Word! The Famous and Profound Speech by Miriam Novak The UN General Assembly

      Miriam Novak (Oblong Media)

“We have given you the alphabet, the Bible, the Virgin Mary, Jesus Christ, the twelve apostles, Spinoza, Disraeli, Columbus, Newton, Nostradamus, Heine, Mendelssohn, Einstein, Singer, Eisenstein, Freud, Landau, Gershwin, Offenbach, Rubinstein, Saint-Saëns, Kafka, Lombroso, Montaigne, Mahler, Marcel Marceau, Vsevolod Meyerhold, Yehudi Menuhin, Stefan Zweig, Arthur Miller, Maya Plisetskaya, Stanley Kubrick, Irving Berlin, Edward Teller, Lion Feuchtwanger, Paul Newman, Robert Oppenheimer, Benny Goodman, Eugène Ionesco, Imre Kálmán, Marcel Proust, Marc Chagall, Barbra Streisand, Claude Lelouch, Steven Spielberg, Anouk Aimée, Leonard Bernstein, Norbert Wiener, Larry Page, Mark Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin, Andrew Lloyd Webber and thousands of other scientists and educators.”

For two thousand years we have lived among you, offering you our knowledge, discoveries and inventions.

At the UN Special General Assembly in New York, held at the request of the leaders of the European Union and the New Arab Bloc, the representative of Israel, Miriam Novak, spoke.

Standing at the podium, in front of the green marble wall of the main UN hall, Miriam Novak said into the microphone:

“Ladies and gentlemen! As you know, eighty years ago, Europe, led by Germany, carried out an ethnic purge: it exterminated almost all the Jews who lived there. French, Belgians, Dutch, Norwegians, Hungarians, Slovaks, Poles, Lithuanians, Ukrainians – all helped the fascists.

You killed at least six million Jews, including newborn babies. Each of them could have given the world children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, so you can multiply the number of killed by four or five…

And now, when we are again plundered, beaten and killed in all your countries, and your courts release the murderers, you tell us that we have no right to defend ourselves?

We have no right to warn our enemies that we will respond to a new ethnic cleansing with an even more powerful strike?

Perhaps you can name another nation whose extermination is so fanatically sought by your new Iranian-led international community? And why?

For two thousand years, we have lived among you, offering you our knowledge, discoveries and inventions.

We have given you the alphabet, the Bible, the Virgin Mary, Jesus Christ, the twelve apostles, Spinoza, Disraeli, Columbus, Newton, Nostradamus, Heine, Mendelssohn, Einstein, Singer, Eisenstein, Freud, Landau, Gershwin, Offenbach, Rubinstein, Saint-Saëns, Kafka, Lombroso, Montaigne, Mahler, Marcel Marceau, Vsevolod Meyerhold, Yehudi Menuhin, Stefan Zweig, Arthur Miller, Maya Plisetskaya, Stanley Kubrick, Irving Berlin, Edward Teller, Lion Feuchtwanger, Paul Newman, Robert Oppenheimer, Benny Goodman, Eugène Ionesco, Imre Kálmán, Marcel Proust, Marc Chagall, Barbra Streisand, Claude Lelouch, Steven Spielberg, Anouk Aimée, Leonard Bernstein, Norbert Wiener, Larry Page, Mark Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin, Andrew Lloyd Webber and thousands of other scientists and educators.

Imagine how many such geniuses could have been born from the millions of Jews killed by you, and then from their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren!

But these unborn geniuses disappeared forever in crematoriums, burned synagogues, and mass graves.

So do you really think that your resolutions, boycotts and sanctions can bring us back to the gas chambers?

No, ladies and gentlemen! Having lived among you for two thousand years, we have had to adapt to you and learn not only your languages, but also some aspects of your psychology.

Otherwise, how would we have survived in Persia without Persian perfidy? In Spain without the Spanish cruelty? In Germany without German submission to discipline? In France without French avarice? In Poland without Polish vanity, and in Russia without the oaths and the Russian habit of court latrines, where one must squat and talk about one’s spiritual greatness? — (Laughter in the room.)

“And that is why I will tell you frankly: yes, we are not angels. Among us there have been international crooks and gangsters, Lansky, Medoff and Epstein, thieves, looters, adventurers and even pedophiles.

But in all our common history, there has never been a Jewish Bogdan Khmelnitsky, Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. There have never been Jewish Josef Mengele and Erik Koch, Jewish Adolf Eichmann and Idi Amin, Jewish Andrei Chikatilo and Li Zicheng, Jewish Jeffrey Dahmer and Jean Bokassa, Jewish Fritz Haarmann and Ted Bundy, Jewish Nikolai Dzhumagaliev and Albert Fish.

We have never made necklaces with human ears, never scalped, never eaten human flesh, never made soap with human fat, never made lampshades with human skin, never made mattresses with women’s hair, never burned people in religious temples, and never killed children in gas chambers. Instead, we created things that changed the world for the better.

Drip irrigation, seawater desalination, Intel processors and Centrino and Core Duo platforms, the world’s smallest DNA computer and the world’s first USB flash drive, nanowire and camera pill, multiple sclerosis drug and exoskeleton, Google Glass for the blind and baby breathing monitor, The radar that can see through walls, the holographic reality artificial intelligence synthesizer, and hundreds of other wonderful things.

Representing only 0.2% of the world’s population, we have given the world 32% of the Nobel Prize winners. Yes, I forgot to tell you: we have never consumed and do not consume the blood of Christian infants to make matzah. Already in 1913, three Orthodox experts on Judaism proved this at the famous Beilis trial in Kiev.

In 1962, the Second Vatican Council lifted our guilt for the crucifixion of Christ, and in 2011, Pope Benedict XVI declared that “the Christian cannot be anti-Semitic, we have the same roots.” In 2019, his successor, Pope Francis I, said that “every Christian has a Jew in him” and that “one cannot be a true Christian without acknowledging one’s Jewish roots.”

In addition, the head of the global Catholic Church said that “the covenant between God and Jews continues to apply” and “that anti-Semitism includes not only attacks on Jews, but also criticism of Israel.”

Finally, in June 2020, the Rev. John Hagee, the leader of American Evangelical Christians, published his “Appeal to the World,” in which he said simply and clearly, “Why do we, eight million patriotic American Christians, support Israel? Because God is on Israel’s side! If a Christian says he doesn’t like Jews, then his false Christianity is very dubious. God says, “I will bless those who bless Israel! I will curse those who curse Israel!”

And now I want to ask the European delegates in this room: who do you think you are? Are you Christians or not? When you pray to Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, and the holy apostles, are you not praying to the Jews? And when you say that you carry the image of Christ in your heart, do you not admit that you carry a Jew in your soul?

Even if you are a hard-core atheist, your ancestors were Christians for two thousand years, and therefore, Judaism is in your blood – whether you like it or not!

So, ladies and gentlemen. If you insist on the international boycott of Israel because you continue to hate Jews and want the total extermination of Jews on earth, then be consistent – start with yourselves, do seppuku! It will be an honest ethnic purge.

And now, as we say here in America, I have news for you. Now, after the Christians, it is the turn of the Muslims to get rid of anti-Semitism.

Yes, it won’t be easy, but just as the Almighty helped humanity get rid of the bubonic plague, anthrax, cholera, and coronavirus, He will help you get rid of anti-Semitism.

You ask: why? Why has the Almighty brought us back to Israel and forced you to give up your desire to destroy us? For He has to have a purpose, doesn’t He?

I will give you my personal opinion. For according to His purpose, every nation is to bring to mankind what it does best.

The French – cooks and perfumers.

The English and the Russians – writers and poets.

      Italians – artists and musicians.

The Germans – soldiers and philosophers.

      And we Jews – geniuses.

Geniuses who, in all fields, are advancing humanity from barbarism and idolatry to culture, humanism and technical progress. This is our mission, which we have been accomplishing for two thousand years, despite everything!

So whether we have genetic, torsional, nuclear, tectonic, cosmic, or other defense weapons, that’s none of your business! Whether you allow us to have defensive weapons or not, we don’t care.

As one of the founders of our state, Ze’ev Jabotinsky, once said: “Whether you like us or not, we don’t care, we arrived before you and we will leave after you.”

The Importance of Railbus in my City (Abuja)

Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria stands on the precipice of an uncertain future, driven by its rapid population growth. Encircling the city lie several satellite towns, such as Gwagwalada, Bwari, Kuje, Maraba, and Karshi, that were originally intended to be homes for the working-class and low-income earners. The idea was to facilitate daily commutes for people who work in the city centre. However, mainly due to the lack of a functional urban mobility network, the planned spatial arrangement in these settlements has not been successful. As a result, residents are left with no choice but to rely on private cars and taxis. This reliance is worsening the growing traffic congestion and exposing residents to high amounts of ambient carbon dioxide daily.

      Railbus pictures: http://www.railbus.com

Socio-economically, the absence of affordable railbus services in Abuja translates to the city’s underpaid working class spending a substantial part of their meagre income on transportation, leaving very little for essential needs like food. This reality significantly contributes to the growing chasm between the city’s rich and poor. This situation has been further exacerbated by the recent removal of petroleum subsidies, resulting in a staggering 200 per cent hike in petrol costs. To avoid the high cost and inconvenience of commuting to and from the city centre, many of Abuja’s low-income earners have chosen to live near the city at all costs.

Railbuses are designed to utilize sustainable energy sources like electricity or hybrid systems that emit very low or no greenhouse gases. This makes them a greener mode of public transport.

The benefits of Railbus mobility cannot be overemphasized. Railbus will play a vital role in ensuring environmental and social justice in Abuja as it has the capacity of bringing equitable distribution of transportation and ensuring seamless access to local destinations, goods and services within the city.

Creating a sustainable and equitable railbus system is crucial for Abuja as it will bring an integrated, sustainable multi-modal transport system that significantly reduces the number of private cars on the road and seamlessly citizens at different levels, with options to alternate between transport modes as needed.

By seamlessly integrating the Railbus options in Abuja; it can create a comprehensive low-cost mobility solution that has the potential to address equity issues by providing affordable and equitable access to urban spaces.

The chronic congestion and the dilapidated state of road networks in Abuja signals the urgent need for innovative transport solutions. Railbus, with its potential for high-volume passenger transport, presents an effective answer to these challenges. Its adoption could significantly reduce traffic congestion, improve road safety, and enhance the overall efficiency of the city’s transport system.

Establishment of Railbus in Abuja would lead to job creation, not only within the transport sector but also across ancillary industries. Additionally, by improving accessibility to urban and rural areas, it can spur economic activities and foster trade. Ultimately, the increased efficiency in transportation will translate into cost savings for both commuters and goods, contributing positively to the city economy.

The introduction of RAILBUS services stands to immensely benefit local communities. Enhanced mobility can lead to improved access to education and healthcare, thereby advancing social welfare. Furthermore, the Railbus system will promote inclusivity by providing affordable and reliable transport options, bridging the gap between different socioeconomic groups within the city.

In terms of environmental sustainability, the shift towards Railbus systems signifies a major stride towards sustainability. Rail-based transport is known for its lower carbon footprint compared to road vehicles, thereby contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The adoption of Railbus in Abuja will help to combat climate change and promote environmental conservation.

Urban areas suffer from significant noise pollution due to conventional traffic. The Railbus, particularly electric models, operates more quietly than traditional buses and trains. Reduced noise levels not only improve the quality of life for urban residents but also have positive effects on wildlife, which can be adversely affected by high noise levels.

The Railbus system holds tremendous promise for Abuja, offering a viable solution to the city long-standing public transportation challenges. By leveraging existing infrastructure, promoting environmental sustainability, and fostering economic growth, the Railbus has the potential to transform the way citizens move and connect. Since Railbus can easily reach areas not easily reached by traditional rail systems; giving passengers extensive transport network coverage and convenience ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and prosperous future for Abuja.

Mercy Johnson and Her Colleagues: The Way I See It

(From left: Angela Okorie, Mercy Johnson & Husband: Legit News)

I do not usually interfere the squabbles of celebrities. But this one really got my attention. For some time now, there have been altercations upon altercations between Nollywood actresses. This time the altercation is between Mercy Johnson and Angela Okorie. Mercy Johnson is a household name in Nigeria and one of the most popular Nollywood actresses. But it looks as if she is in hot water.

What made me to be interested in this issue is because Mercy Johnson has refused to come out to clear her name. Instead of her to come out and clear her name. The husband was the one who came out to give a reply. Something I find to be very distasteful, unmanly and unwise.

So what is the altercation between Mercy Johnson and Angela Okorie about?

Angela Okorie Calls Out Mercy Johnson

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has called out her colleague Mercy Johnson Okojie with surprising clandestine claims against her.

In her Instagram story, she declared that it is time for murders, blood-drinking devils, and evildoers in Nollywood to be put to an end.

“Time up for evildoers in Nollywood. Time up for Mercy J. After these prayers, I pray some of you don’t turn to Goat. Cos, I don’t know why she is turning into a goat instead of Snake. God abeg o,” she said in part.

Nigerian actress Angela Okorie generated another buzz online as she called out Mercy Johnson Okojie The screen goddess made several mysterious claims about her colleague and also added her late mother to the picture Angela further pointed out the importance of prayers in the Nollywood industry so that God could open their eyes to all that she was seeing.

Actress, Mercy Johnson’s Alleged Best Friend Accuses Actress of Being a Witch, Recalls Childhood Experience

The recent accusation against veteran Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie by her colleague, Angela Okorie has escalated further. This is as Ifeoma, who is allegedly a former best friend to the mother of four, told her story as she called Mercy out for witchcraft.

During an Instagram live session with Angela, who recently dragged Zubby Michael, Ifeoma accused Mercy of black magic, alleging that her late mother was the brain behind it. According to Ifeoma, Mercy was initiated at a young age as her mum and grandmum were witches. Recounting a childhood experience, Ifeoma claimed Mercy’s mum made her exchange her clothes with the actress in a strange room.

I watched this video on Instagram of Ifeoma (Mercy Johnson childhood friend telling Angela Okorie about this same issue). From what I can deduce is that someone cannot have such effrontery to spill out these facts if there is no evidence or experience of it.

No doubt, Mercy Johnson is a talented actress. Even before all these squabbles has begun; I have somehow felt the same way about Mercy Johnson. Well, there is nothing wrong in using one’s metaphysical power for one’s upliftment. So if Mercy Johnson is a witch and she used her witchcraft to launch herself into limelight; then good for her! But if there are evil activities on her part like her childhood friend Ifeoma has been saying that Mercy Johnson mother swapped her destiny with Mercy destiny; then Karma and Nemesis will definitely come for Mercy. Also, I am not too surprised to hear this about Mercy Johnson because since I learnt that she is from Kogi state; that was when I knew she would definitely behave like a Kogi person.

      Back to Mercy Johnson Husband

Many people have slammed Mercy Johnson husband for his response to Angela Okorie. For me Mercy husband coming out to give a response to Angela is very foolish. If he was a wise husband, he would encourage Mercy to come out and address the issue. From the response he gave to Angela Okorie that alone justified everything that Angela Okorie has said about Mercy Johnson. Plus, Mercy Johnson keeping quiet over it justifies it too.

I want to hear from you. Do you think it is right for a husband to reply his wife’s colleague or friend when his wife is being called out by her friend/colleague? Does it even make sense for a man to be the one to reply to his wife’s friend/colleague when the wife is having squabbles with her friends/colleagues? Could it not have been better for Mercy husband to advise Mercy to come out and clear her name or respond to Angela and her own childhood best friend? What better way could Mercy Johnson husband have responded? Just in case you are wondering: here is what Mercy Johnson responded to Angela Okorie

“Na Mango Wey Ripe Dem They Throw Sticks at”

In turn, Angela Okorie responded to Mercy husband

Reacting to claims of her battling mental issues, Angela, in a live video, mocked Prince Okojie, whom she called a houseboy under his wife’s alleged witchcraft influence.

She added that Prince would remain under Mercy’s spell for the rest of his life. Amid the backlash that trailed her comment about Mercy, Angela stood by her accusations against Mercy. “To that houseboy wey dem dey use; you no fit get sense for life, na so you go dey carry handbag for life. I no dey tarnish the image of Mercy Johnson, I called her out with my full chest. Why? Because at the end of the day, you’re not better than me,” she said.

Kogi people are FAMOUSLY known for being VERY diabolical. Kogi is a state in central Nigeria; Black magic is the MAINSTAY of Kogi people. I read a Kogi girl saying that though she is from Kogi state that she can never live in Kogi. Another one said he had to run away from Kogi state so that they will not kill him as he was the only child of his parents. I have a reservation for that state…and trust me when you hear someone say that Kogi people are evil believe it.

Personally, I have also had an experience with a Kogi person. We were supposed to be a team member. But his toxicity was too much for me to bear. Even from the first day he told me that he is from Kogi state that was when I knew he would behave like one and he did. For my sanity and wellness, I had to pull out of that group and got rid of him. It was a very good riddance.

See What Happened to Me in 2023

This year 2023 has been nothing short of adventures for me. With so MANY lessons and BLESSINGS; as we are now in the last month of the year, I am full of reflections of the past eleven months. I am looking forward with a great curiosity what the following year is bringing for me.

      Reflections and Meditations

I used to do New Year Resolutions but I have chosen a different approach. Actually, I am not condemning doing New Year Resolutions. It helps to give clarity and directions. Suffice to say that it also helps to set the tone for a positive life momentum. Yes, I have the things I love to manifest in the New Year.

Dear Universe, Kwan Yin, Buddha, Jesus Christ, Holy Mother Mary, Spirit Guides and Angels dwelling in the Realms of Light and Love:

I thank you for all the provision, protection and progress I have made this year so far. I am looking forward to the following year (2024) in confidence, gratitude and sure expectations of the many miracles, endorsements, appointments, progress and unlimited possibilities that is already cooking for me in the Greater (Invisible) Realms of Light and Love—all of which are manifesting for my highest good and wellbeing.

Receiving. When the Universe finally delivers my requests (LOL)
Shot of a courier making a delivery to a customer at her home: Pexel.com

Thank you for the Extravagant Grace and Wisdom to live in harmony with my dreams and Divine Rights and to be a Pillar of Light. I am also thankful because my family and I are safe, sound, strong and well taken care of.

Yes, let all the Goodies of 2024 pour forth to me—kith and kin. My hands are wide open to receive them. For this I am thankful.

Christmas is just one week away from today; it is a season of busyness and “Love” as they say. But I still believe that Love is a fruit in all seasons and it is within the reach of every hand. As said by the beloved Mother Theresa. I have grown past the consciousness of seasonal love and giving. I strongly believe that every day is Christmas. Giving and Love are things to be done every day. I also strongly believe that remembering the birth of Christ should not only for festivities—it should also be reflected in our lives and daily living. Now, in saying in this I am certainly not condemning celebrating Christmas or condemning people celebrating. It is good to celebrate Christmas.

Expectations and Looking forward to a better tomorrow

One thing I have grown to learn is gratitude. A grateful mind is a magnet for miracles. I look back this year with so much gratitude. But, if I am going to be honest I would be extremely correct to say that I am BLESSED and FORTUNATE A dear friend of mine told me few weeks ago—“you really have God’s backing.” I totally agree with that because I am so sure that the Universe, Kwan Yin and my Angels have my back (that includes God too).

Happy Christmas to my dear readers and subscribers with a Super Prosperous New Year; I will see you all in 2024 luminously and in wellness.

      Embrace the Energy of Abundance

Abundance is a VERY GOOD reality to live in. But for some reasons people have abundance blocks…our natural state is abundance; but due to some reasons we have barriers to abundance. Although there are people who have mastered the art of creating abundance and it is a skill worth having. From my own personal experience I have grown to learn that abundance is about Consciousness.

That is why I decided to share with you a topic about abundance gotten from Sarah Prout website. I am sure you will learn something from it.

The concept of “abundance” extends beyond material wealth to a holistic state of well-being. Embracing an abundance mindset can alter your life experience, shaping not just your circumstances, but also who you become.

      Cornucopia: (Pixabay)

Caught in the scarcity trap, we tend to believe there’s not enough—be it money, opportunities, or love. This mindset generates stress and often results in fear-based decisions. An abundance mindset, however, transforms your perspective to see possibilities rather than limitations. Challenges become avenues for growth, rather than roadblocks.

Begin by practicing gratitude for what you already possess, no matter how insignificant it may appear. Gratitude paves the way for more to flow into your life. Shift from a competitive to a collaborative outlook. Life isn’t a zero-sum game; we can all win in the grand scheme.

To solidify this change, consider adding the affirmation “I AM THE ENERGY OF ABUNDANCE” in your Dear Universe journal.

Affirmations like this can serve as daily reminders that help align your mindset with a reality of abundance.

A Fall arrangement in a cornucopia on a white background (Pixabay)

Lastly, adopt a growth mindset. Believe that skills, intelligence, and circumstances can evolve over time with focused effort. The belief in abundance is self-perpetuating; the more you affirm it, the more you attract. Your mindset isn’t merely a viewpoint; it’s a catalyst that shapes your world.

      Choose Abundance.

      With Love & Gratitude,

      Sarah Prout xo

      My Online EBook Store

Ever since I traditionally published my children’s book Cindy and Her Beautiful Bird, I have really learnt a lot! In fact publishing Cindy and Her Beautiful Bird was an eye-opener for me on how the publishing industry works.

After all said and done, I decided to take the route of self-publishing. Guess what? I FEEL BETTER, happier, grateful and fulfilled to myself for making this decision. I am a wordsmith by my own right! At the moment I have four books on my ebook store and more are coming soon. What I am doing now is working on promoting my online ebook stores and books. It is a journey and a work in progress. I am doing it for me. I am thankful to the Universe and Kwan Yin because they are working out things well for me. I will NEVER trade self-publishing for Traditional Publishing unless on an exceptional and specific situation.

Below are my ebooks and the link to my online ebook stores. Trust me; these books are definitely worth your read! Check them out, leave reviews and share with your networks.

      Thank you.

Mental Health Discussion: An Interview with Dorian S. Withrow Jr.

Today, I want to talk about Mental Health and I have with me an intelligent handsome young man who I am discussing this important issue with. Without further ado; let us begin the discussion

What is your name? And how old are you?

I am Dorian S. Withrow Jr. 23-year-old author

      Dorian S. Withrow Jr.

      What profession are you into?

Business and writing. I received my bachelor’s in science. I majored in (ABEC) Animal Behavior Ecology and Conservation with a minor Philosophy. Some of my favorite courses were to do with philosophy. Discussion is my favorite part of any class.

What is your thought on mental health?

Mental Health is often ignored and frowned upon by some people because of its association with having “problems”. We like to know we have some bumps and scars, but mental care is unnecessary. I find this to be untrue. Some people may not have the most positive and productive outlook on life and other people. Those are the bruises, scratches, and long-lasting wounds; They are harder to heal. Through internal troubles, the consequences of their approach to life, actions, and habits speak for themselves. We should treat our mental health like the things we hold most dear.

What are the ways you think depression, anxiety, sadness and grief can be overcome?

Three pieces of advice that can combat some of these issues are from my experience dealing with them. Number one, I like to engage in recreational activities. Activities I can get lost in, such as martial arts training, sports, and activities with family. The second tool I like to play is learning. I seek more information about the problems I’m experiencing. I believe the more I know, the better I can overcome those troubled states. Lastly, I apply coping mechanisms. I like writing poetry or stories, particularly about anything I have my mind on. There are more ways than just writing, like making art, music, dancing, exercise, and positive games. Here’s a bonus! I like to remind myself of my list of what it takes to make goals and vision boards. The list and vision board help me shift my focus away from what’s causing internal turmoil.

What do you see as the cause of depression, anxiety, sadness and Grief?

I think some causes (there are a ton) for those poor emotional states of being is death, financial health, and comparison. We live in a world where all of those things are inevitable. So it is relevant that we take steps to deal with the troubles internally and externally.

As a Black American, have you ever been faced with the issues racism? And how did you deal with it?

I have dealt with racism in some areas of schooling, traffic stops, and gatekeeping opportunities. Whether the work troubles, school issues, or community concerns, advocacy is needed. We can accomplish advocacy through small things like social media posts, word of mouth, community gatherings for discussions, and leading or joining advocacy groups. There is slightly more grand involvement regarding advocacy through campaigns, marches, boycotting, council meetings, and changing political policy. I think the first and most important learning.

      What are your hobbies?

My hobbies include action and comedy movies. I love family time. It’s hard for me to say no to some recreational activities. I’ve taken a liking for reading unique literature in the philosophy arena. Martial arts is always one of my favorite pastimes

      Dorian and his family

How do you describe your life orientation?

My life orientation is directed towards self-improvement and helping others by providing what I have gained.

Do you have influences or mentors?

I’ve learned to use the world as your mentor and guiding force. Let it be your educator

If you are given opportunity to explore the world, what countries would you love to travel to?

I take an interest in traveling to the African West Coast, Madagascar and some Pacific Islands.

Assuming you are put in a position of leadership, what are the world problems you will want to proffer solutions to?

I desire to help change the socioeconomic status of our people when I place myself in a leadership position.

Black Lives Matter: What has it Mattered?

      Black Lives Matter Logo: Wikipedia

I have always been interested in the Black Lives Matter issues. This research paper is a fragment of my book I am writing about the Black Lives Matter.

The word Black Lives Matter has gained a global popularity. “Black Lives Matter (BLM) is a decentralized political and social movement that seeks to highlight racism, discrimination, and racial inequality experienced by black people. Its primary concerns are incidents of police brutality and racially motivated violence against black people. It started following the killings of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Rekia Boyd, among others. The movement and its related organizations typically advocate for various policy changes considered to be related to black liberation” (Wikipedia).

There have been many killings of Black Americans before now; but I think that of George Floyd went so viral that it sparked a global attention! When I heard the news of George Floyd death on radio and watched the video in 2020; I was traumatized for weeks. I was always pressing my neck with my hands and imagine the pain he went through when that White policeman sat on his neck. Floyd’s last words were: “I can’t breathe….mama…” During the protest of George Floyd death; I chatted with a Black American (Allen). He told me that they (the Black Americans) are like “abattoir” because they are killed any day and any time without anyone to defend them. He told me that one of his friends has moved out of USA to Botswana as he could not stand the maltreatment and killings of (Black Americans) because his life was not safe. Allen told me that he has been to Ghana and when he visited Ghana; he felt at home. The final thing Allen told me in 2020 in our chat was that he was considering moving to Ghana—that he was putting all his belongings together to return to Ghana.

      George Floyd: Wikipedia

I could remember that evening my brother Bright and I were watching the news of George Floyd’s death on my laptop and we were shocked to the see the massive protests going on around USA. When my mom heard our screaming of the mammoth crowds of Black Americans who were protesting about the death of George Floyd; she came out of the kitchen and asked us what was going on. Then we told her it was the protest going on in USA about the death of George Floyd. Then she asked who George Floyd was and we told her. After watching the video, my mom asked us a question which I will never forget. “Is this protest going to stop the killing of Black Americans”? Sadly, even during the protest of George Floyd Black Americans were still killed!

During the protest of George Floyd I was on Facebook and I saw the post made by a Black American. In the post he was thanking God for being in America and thanking God for slavery. That if not he would have been in Africa suffering. After reading the post I scroll past it but my mind asked me to remind him of something. Then I commented on his post. “It does not matter if you speak in the accent of White Americans, eat like them, answers two English names, dress like them…the White policeman can pieces you with a bullet and nothing will happen. The White Americans still sees as you a Slave.” One Black American woman replied to my comment saying “Very well said. Please tell him more.” I watched a video on Instagram of a Black American woman by name Kim Daniels thanking God for slavery. In her words she said that if not for slavery she would have been in Africa “worshipping trees.” This is to show you the level of brainwashing, inferiority complex and enslaved mentality that has eaten VERY deep into the mind of Black Americans.

Black Lives Matter Protesters: Google images

My Great-Grandmother was sold out to a European slave master at the age of seven; but something happened…and the European slave master asked that she be returned to her parents (I will spare you the details). Her father (my maternal great-grandfather) told her what happened and she told my grandmother, my grandmother told my mother and I am working on the story to make it a documentary for film. You will know everything about it when I finish writing the story.

There is something the Black Americans fail to understand and refuse to acknowledge. The truth is the White Americans sees you (Black Americans) as SLAVES; it does not matter how learned you are, what your status is. Your forefathers were brought from Africa as Slaves through the ship. So it does not matter if you answering two English names. Those two English names you are answering are slave names. It is so disappointing to see that Black Americans feel “superior” to Africa just because they are in America answering two English names and speaking in the accent of White Americans. But has that helped to change their narratives? No. In the words Chante Moore, she said: “I see you in a different way. Through a different eye.” And it is the truth; the White Americans sees the Black Americans (of Slave descent) in a different way.

If I have my way to the White House, I will urge Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to SHUTDOWN the movement of Black Lives Matter movement. What has the Black Lives Matter movement achieved? What has the Black Lives Matter mattered? Has all the protests of Black Lives Matter stopped the killing and maltreatment of Black Americans? Many events have shown that the Black Lives Matter has not achieved anything. Years ago I read on social media where someone said that the Black Lives Matter is a scam and that the officials in the helm of affairs of Black Lives Matter channel their funds into their pocket for their personal gains.

What Cynthia Morgan Said About the Black Lives Matter

      Cynthia Morgan: Google Images

It all goes back to when it all started.

Now we have to stand up and earn our respects back, and it’s not by crying on social media and begging for equality like spoilt babies.

      1. Y’all need a Black Nation.
      2. Invest more on Black people and Black ideas.
      3. Let every Black life count to you as a Black person first before you preach it to other people.

White people have every right to be proud and do whatever pleases them. Its only natural, that’s how people act when they see all your comfort and life depends on them. What we are fighting is more than just color thing. It’s more of mentality problems and it’s a way of the devil putting separation and chaos in the world so we all won’t come together and be in peace.

Now, one would correctly describe Cynthia Morgan as a Prophetess….she also said something to say about the current Nigerian President; a statement that is SO profound and thought-provoking!

Black Americans are still seen as SLAVES till today. In Florida for example, Governor Ron DeSantis has mandated that “New Florida standards teach students that Black people benefited from slavery because it taught useful skills.”

Governor Ron DeSantis (Photo by Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images)

      ‘Slave for Sale’

In Illinois, a White high school student labeled his Black friend as a slave. He snapped his Black friend and posted him on Craiglist as ‘Slave for Sale.’ The ad showed the Black student in what appeared to be a cafeteria under the words “Slave for sale (Naperville)” with the caption “Hardworking thick n—er slave. For da low.” It later went viral. Classmates approached the Black student offering a dollar to buy him. “I’ll buy you for a dollar,” said one student.

Teacher Resigns After Telling Black Students They Would Have Been Her ‘Field Slaves‘ if it wasn’t for the Constitution, they would be her slaves.

You will agree with me that in that classroom, there were other students from other races. Also, that White teenage boy has other friends from other races. The question now is: why did the teacher not make this statement to the Arabic-Americans, Indian-Americans, Filipino-Americans, Chinese-American, Korean-American, Jewish-American, Japanese-American? And why did that White teenage boy not label his friends who are Arabic-Americans, Indian-Americans, Filipino-Americans, Chinese-American, Korean-American, Jewish-American, Japanese-American as slaves? Because the Asians KNOW their roots; the Asians did not come as Slaves to America they came as immigrants for a better life just the way the Whites came from Europe.

Now, one thing I LOVE about the Asians is how they are united among themselves, love themselves, their culture and maintain their cultural heritage. Something that is VERY hard to find among Black Americans/Africans. The average Asian-American is well connected to Asia. For example when you hear the name “Robert Kiyosaki,” “Dennis Liu” “Vera Wang,” “Priscilla Chan” etc it gives you a clue that these are Asians and also shows that they know where they are coming from. Unlike the Black Americans who answers two (Slave English Names), does not know their root and are very disconnected from their roots (sad and shameful).

The bitter truth is that Black Americans cannot win against White Supremacy because for every administration that comes in; they join ALL forces to make sure to keep you Black Americans on their knees because you are slave descendants so you are still a slave in their eyes. For example, when George Floyd was killed Donald Trump did not come out to address the Black people; it was Barak Obama that came out to address the Black Americans. That act alone speaks volumes: it means you are not American enough. For example, when a Black American traveled to Spain she was asked what part of Africa she was from and then she said that she is American. The Spanish person told her right back that she was not American enough.

Or is it the White student who always taunts his Black teacher by keeping a banana peel on the doorway of his teacher? You know the animal whose favorite fruit is banana.

Is there a Way Out for Black Americans?

With all these atrocities and injustices going on against Black Americans; is there any solution? Yes there is. The only way the Black Americans can regain their freedom, destiny and future is to come back to Africa. Until the Black Americans come back to Africa there is no hope for them because your lives do not matter in America. If you go to Melaninepeople HQ on Instagram; you will see on their page the video of a Black American people who were manhandle, handcuffed and harassed by the White Policemen. Something very terrible! An act of slavery, disgrace and humiliation. In the video, the Black American woman was recording her husband been handcuffed by the White policemen. The White policeman came to her and pushed her down forcefully and handcuffed her too.

That clearly shows that as a Black American you DO NOT MATTER. It does not matter how you chant the Black Lives Matter. What has it mattered?

The last time I checked the Black Americans people have Black people in government. But have these Black Americans been able to protect the rights and lives of Black Americans? NO. This Africa you are shying away from and pretending to be “superior” to because you are answering two (English Slave Names) and speaking in the accent White—that is WHERE your healing and freedom lies. Your Mother (Ghana) has opened her arms to welcome you back to Africa. It is left for you to return or not. You will find succor and refuge in African countries if you choose to return home (e.g. Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana etc).

Ghana to Black Americans: Come home. We’ll help you build a Life here

Although some Black Americans are willing to heed this call from their Mother (Ghana) to come back Home; for example Kimberly Reese has never visited Ghana, but she is already designing her dream home there. The Ohio mother of five says she doesn’t feel safe in the United States. “Some of us are tired.” “Some of us just want to be in an environment where we don’t have to look over our shoulders. Where we don’t have to worry about our sons getting pulled over.” Reese said.

Only few Black Americans are heeding the call of their Mother (Ghana) to come back Home. For example, one Black American has returned home. Hear her words: “I had this strong urge to come to Africa. I wanted to experience it. Something has been tugging at my heart to come and visit the Motherland,” she told DW. Saafir-Ankomah said she was inspired by a couple from Tennessee who had visited Ghana several times. “They [the couple] would talk about it all the time; show me pictures, videos and things like that, which stirred up a desire in me even more to come.”

Saafir-Ankomah finally made it to Africa for the first time in 2010, and Ghana in West Africa was her destination. She quickly fell in love with the continent. The trained lawyer now lives in the capital, Accra, and married a Ghanaian. “I love it here, I would much rather be here (Ghana) than in the [United] States for sure,” she said. Saafir-Ankomah has since become an ambassador urging many Africans in the Diaspora to visit Africa to experience the rich heritage. Jam Aiwuyor in her article maintained that Black Americans NEED Pan-Africanism.

THIS Pan-Africanism (to Black Americans); MEANS returning back to their Home (Africa) from whence they came.

Funny Dialog between You and God

Here’s a humorous way to give you a profound and useful message as you are leaping into a new space, a Self that is more.  And it’s key to your spiritual path!  I suggest that we all have more dialogues with God like this!

We are Becoming; A great message for now and the future

Taken from a Facebook post and attributed to John Roedel

      Me: Hey God.

      God: Hello

Me: I’m falling apart. Can you put me back together?

      God: I would rather not.

      Me: Why?

God: Because you aren’t a puzzle.

Me: What about all of the pieces of my life that are falling down onto the ground?

God: Let them stay there for a while. They fell off for a reason. Take some time and decide if you need any of those pieces back.

      Me: You don’t understand!

      I’m breaking down!

God: No – you don’t understand. You are breaking through. What you are feeling are just growing pains. You are shedding the things and the people in your life that are holding you back. You aren’t falling apart. You are falling into place.

Relax. Take some deep breaths and allow those things you don’t need any more to fall off of you. Quit holding onto the pieces that don’t fit you anymore. Let them fall off. Let them go.

Me: Once I start doing that, what will be left of me?

God: Only the very best pieces of you.

      Me: I’m scared of changing.

God: I keep telling you – YOU AREN’T CHANGING!! YOU ARE BECOMING!

      Me: Becoming who?

God: Becoming who I created you to be! A person of light and love and charity and hope and courage and joy and mercy and grace and compassion. I made you for more than the shallow pieces you have decided to adorn yourself with that you cling to with such greed and fear. Let those things fall off of you.

I love you! Don’t change! … Become! Become! Become who I made you to be.

I’m going to keep telling you this until you remember it.

      Me: There goes another piece.

      God: Yep. Let it be.

Me: So … I’m not broken?

God: Of course Not! – but you are breaking like the dawn. It’s a new day. Become!!!

Welcome to ABUJA—the HEART of Nigeria!!

      Abuja City Gate: Wikipedia

Abuja is the capital city of Nigeria. It is the capital and eighth most populous city of Nigeria. Situated at the centre of the country within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Central Bank of Nigeria is located in Abuja.

      Central Bank of Nigeria

I have been hearing about Lagos…but to be honest, Lagos has been overrated…the noise, overpopulation, pollution and other things. Abuja is serene and organized. At least in Abuja drivers will slow down for you to cross or signal you with their hands to cross. The zebra sign is respected in Abuja road networks. Where do you get that kind of pampering in Lagos—where everyone is always in a rush and hurry; with the endless go-slow. Hmmm…I wonder if I can actually stay in Lagos because that rush-rush helter-skelter lifestyle is never harmonious with me. That is not to say that I am not energetic. I am; but the ideal life is not the one you live under tension, rushing and hurrying. It was reported some time ago in Lagos how a man using the zebra crossing was almost crushed by a car!

      Millennium Park: Abuja

Abuja is actually a beautiful place to be; another thing that makes me love Abuja is the breathtaking rocks, hills and mountains that grace it—adding beauty and magic to it. Beholding these mountains, rocks and hills could not have been more refreshing! Suffice to say that it is uplifting and quite refreshing! Personally, I love nature and I love spending time in nature too. Seeing these beautiful beings and wonders of creations also serve as a reason to think about life, appreciate life and the Grand Designer.

      Jabi Lake, Abuja

I have been to this Millennium Park in an event with my comrades.

Me and my Comrade at the Millennium Park, Abuja

One lovely sunny morning, I went for a shopping in a supermarket. While I was minding my own business doing my shopping as a gentleman that I am; I heard a conversation between two friends sharing their experiences on their first day of visit to Abuja. It was actually a hilarious and dramatic one! I have a similar experience like theirs but not to the extent of how dramatic their own was—I can actually say with gratitude and joy that I did not have to be caught up in a maze of finding my way on my first day in Abuja. In fact, it was Divinely arranged and I will call it a “Cosmic Ride…”

      Zuma Rock, Abuja

Here is the conversation that the two friends were discussing among themselves:

First Friend: I will never my first time to Abuja. The Abuja roads trend is very amusing and confusing. Because if you get car, you go lost, if you no get car, you go still lost.

      Serengeti Shall Not Die!

For many years back, I have been hearing about Serengeti. I only knew it was a National Park in Tanzania; but did not know much about it. It was not until recently that I read more about the Serengeti and guess what? I could not help but add it to my list of favorite travel destinations as I am an intrepid adventurer. In fact, the story surrounding Serengeti is truly heartwarming and epic. The question one would want to ask is: where did the word “Serengeti shall not die originate from”? Find out below:

Serengeti shall not die” is a statement that reflects the importance of preserving the Serengeti ecosystem, which is a vast plain in East Africa spanning across Tanzania and Kenya. The Serengeti ecosystem is home to a diverse range of wildlife species, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many more.

The statement “Serengeti shall not die” was made famous by the German documentary film of the same name, which was released in 1959. The film was directed by Bernhard Grzimek and his son Michael and documented their efforts to save the Serengeti from destruction.

Since then, the Serengeti ecosystem has faced several threats, including habitat loss, poaching, and climate change. However, concerted efforts by conservationists, governments, and local communities have helped to protect the ecosystem and its wildlife.

Today, the Serengeti National Park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Africa and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It continues to inspire people around the world to work towards preserving the natural world and its many wonders.

Now, having read about the Serengeti National Park I have completely agreed with Grzimek: “Serengeti shall not die!”

The Lotus Flower Remains my Favorite Flower!

      Magic Lotus flower

The lotus is born under the mud, growing through the water to achieve the surface, and therefore the air and the light of sun. This growth is identified with man’s life, born in earth but desiring the elevation to the air; representing his middle stage between animals and the ultimate reality. The seeds of lotus contain (even before they germinate) perfectly formed leaves, a miniature shape of what they would become. This flower is often present in Eastern Religions/Spirituality, which influence is key in the Theosophical Movement.

Lotus (Gr.). A most occult plant, sacred in Egypt, India and elsewhere; called “the child of the Universe bearing the likeness of its mother in its bosom”. There was a time “when the world was a golden lotus” (padma) says the allegory. A great variety of these plants, from the majestic Indian lotus, down to the marsh-lotus (bird’s foot trefoil) and the Grecian “Dioscoridis”, is eaten at Crete and other islands. It is a species of nymphala, first introduced from India to Egypt to which it was-not indigenous. See the text of Archaic Symbolism in the Appendix Viii. “The Lotus, as a Universal Symbol” (Wikipedia)

The Secret Meaning of the Lotus Flower

      Lotus Flower: Pexel Photos

Nothing is more spiritual than the lotus—it experiences Immaculate Conception every single day.

At first glance, one might not think much of the lotus flower. The plant’s symmetry and colors are striking, sure, but beneath the lotus’s delicate exterior lies a deeper meaning nearly as old as time. The flower holds great symbolic weight in many Eastern cultures and is considered one of the most sacred plants in the world. So, what is it about this specific bloom that makes it oh so special?

To start, the lotus has a life cycle unlike any other plant. With its roots latched in mud, it submerges every night into river water and miraculously re-blooms the next morning, sparklingly clean. In many cultures, this process associates the flower with rebirth and spiritual enlightenment. With its daily process of life, death, and reemergence, its no wonder that the lotus holds such symbolism.

Because of these meanings, the lotus is often seen alongside divine figures in some cultures. For the Egyptians, the flower represents the universe. In Hindu culture, it is said that gods and goddesses sat on lotus thrones. And a longstanding Buddhist story states that the Buddha appeared atop a floating lotus, and his first footsteps on Earth left lotus blossoms.

As divine as the Gods, the flower of rebirth was thought to contain magical properties as well. The ancient Egyptians believed lotuses had the ability to resurrect the deceased, as seen in Book of the Dead transformation spells.

Each flower color also has its own symbolism. For Buddhist practitioners, a white lotus symbolizes purity, whereas a yellow lotus is associated with spiritual ascension. However, the real question remains: how has the flower acquired such all-encompassing spiritual significance?

The lotus flower’s daily resurrection is certainly interesting, and surely symbolic of revival. (This makes it the perfect gift for anyone recovering from injury or a traumatic experience.) But the flower also has a fascinating will to live. A lotus seed can withstand thousands of years without water, able to germinate over two centuries later.

The flower also blooms in the most unlikely of places such as the mud of murky river water in Australia or Southern Asia. Not only does it find sanctuary in the muck, but due to the waxy protection layer on its petals, its beauty is blithely unaffected when it re-blooms each morning. It continues to resurrect itself, coming back just as beautiful as it was last seen. With such refusal to accept defeat, it’s almost impossible not to associate this flower with unwavering faith. Although cultures have largely dubbed the lotus as a spiritual figurehead, it is most emblematic of the faith within ourselves. It is particularly what the Buddhist proverb, aims to edify; living life with unwavering faith, as the lotus does, ensures the most beautiful revivals. (Katie Robbins of Town and Country).

      Why I Don’t Care Much About Valentine’s Day-Moxie’s Diary

Today is Valentine’s Day and I wanted to share this with you. Honestly, I am surprised to read that a woman in this our modern generation. A generation that has been blown away by social media, fashion and whatever you can call it still have some people who are distinct! In fact, I should not have to waste any further time. Read for yourself to find out a different view and opinion of Moxie from her won diary (Moxie’s Diary).

Yesterday, my man knowing how much I like important dates, asked me, “babe, is Valentine’s Day very important to you?”, I said not really because I feel like people make a huge fuss about it; but I may appreciate a gift, and get you one too.

Thinking about it, why do we have to pick one day just to celebrate our lover. Is it like we don’t get them gifts every other day?

I mean that has always been my opinion about Val’s day since I “grew up”!

I take celebration of anniversaries more important than Val’s day.

And the competition of whose partner did the most — and some who go as far as lying that they were gifted when they weren’t. Why the pressure?

      Photo: Google Images/Moxie’s Diary

It’s been so many stories about the origin of Valentine’s Day; but the most popular, is that it originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine and, through later folk traditions, has become a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and love in many regions of the world, according to Wikipedia.

The major reason I stopped caring about Valentine’s Day is because of how people started judging the love their partner has for them on that day! It’s just so many expectations; and people get pressured from what others display online, and feel left out!

      Valentine Picture: Google Images

If all you get on Valentine’s Day is a love note written from the heart, it’s enough! There’s no rule that says your partner has to go out of their way to impress you so that you can post on social media!

I’m not sure I’ll take my man seriously if he only gifts me on Valentine’s Day! This is not to discourage anyone planning to get gifts for their partners — please go on! My point is, as tomorrow comes, express love the best way you can but do not pressure nor force anyone into doing what they don’t want to do. That’s not love!

People on social media don’t care! They’ll go about their business the next day, and forget about you, or what was given to you, or the gifts you faked, and posted!

While we show love to our partners, let’s also show love to everyone else who can’t afford anything, and our families who are struggling — because charity begins at home!

      Happy Valentine’s Day, guys

Welcome to ABUJA—the HEART of Nigeria!!

If I have to do it again, I will still choose Abuja.

Here is the conversation that the two friends were discussing among themselves:

First Friend: I will never my first time to Abuja. The Abuja roads trend is very amusing and confusing. Because if you get car, you go lost, if you no get car, you go still lost.

First Friend: You wan see craze, Assume that Wuse 2 and Wuse Zone 2 na the same place or Katampe in Mpape and Katampe in Kubwa express na same place…kikikikiki, I laugh in Hindu!! LMFAO!!!

      Christmas in Abuja

      Abuja: google Images
      Father Christmas Google Images

I woke up at 12:07am and I checked my calendar it was 25th December; Christmas Day! In that very early hour of the morning, everywhere was bubbling with music and noises. I was still on my bed and I could hear all those noises from far and near. My neighbours were already awake preparing meal for the Christmas day.

Christmas is celebrated all over the world. If you ask me, I will tell you that Christmas has been overrated! Many people still have the absurd belief that Christmas is a time to show love. That does not make sense at all! The other majority are of the opinion that Christmas is the celebration of Jesus Christ. What I think about Christmas is, instead of waiting till the end of the year to start remembering the birth of Jesus, why not you let your life reflect the qualities of Jesus Christ everyday of your life? There are people who only give on Christmas day. After Christmas they do not care about giving and sharing.

      Picture: WhatsApp images

My Christmas day in Abuja was a very busy one! Lol…it was just as normal as every other day of my life. I went to an event in the morning and came back in the afternoon tired. As soon as I got home in the afternoon I slept off and woke by 5pm. It was actually a cool beautiful and peaceful day for me. If people can put this same zeal they put in Christmas period to live with one another and achieve their dreams I believe the world will be a better place and humanity will find peace.

I wish everyone a very merry abundant Christmas and super prosperous New Year!

      Wise Living

      Confucius quote/image: Facebook

There is a statement Jesus Christ made in the Bible—and he said “Be gentle as a dove but be wise a serpent.” It is not enough to be alive in my own opinion though. Living well is the best way to live. There are many people who are out there but their life is not something worthy of emulation…hence the title of this post.

What is wise living? What does the word wise itself mean? Well, I do not want to go into describing and explaining what the word wise means. Everyone knows what it means to be wise. The three men that visited baby Jesus in the manger were referred to as the Wisemen; for me I think they are described as Wisemen because they knew what to do at the right time and given their awakened personality and higher consciousness they have.

      Source: Facebook

The only little explanation I will give about being wise is, knowing who you are as a Divine Being with Divine Rights. Once you are aware of your Divineness and connection with the Universe/God/Angels/Cosmic Forces then you will begin to live wisely. That is wise living. Living wisely is living life authentically as child of God. When you hear the word child of God please understand that it is NOT about going to church—being a child of God means living a life of dominion, abundance, victory, wisdom, light, love, selflessness, altruism and compassion.

One who is living wisely does not follow the noise of this 3D (three dimensional reality). A person who is living wisely does not put their trust in the government. Living wisely is living in constant divinity and higher consciousness—which also includes forming a deep personal connection with God and the Angels; as the magical Debbianne DeRose rightly said “get into cahoots with your higher self.”

      Source: Facebook

Another aspect of living wisely is living an egoless life. I totally understand the fact everyone has the ego in them including me and the ego cannot be killed. Even if the ego cannot be killed we can at least put it in the rear, paralyze it and dethrone it because when you are living from the ego you will never win! Unfortunately, many people are living from their ego and it is certainly not a wise living.

One can begin the process of wise living by:

Being mindful of the friends you keep. Love yourself enough to avoid hypocritical, jealous, egocentric friends/people. Although you cannot avoid these kind of people completely because they are there in your workplace, family, school, neighbourhoods and wherever human beings are found. But you can build up energetic boundaries between you and them so that you cannot absorb their negative energy; instead you just observe it!

Gratitude. A grateful mind is a magnet for miracles. No matter what someone does for you; be humble and wise enough to say thank you. Even if your situation does not seem as rosy as you desired it to be, still give gratitude to God for the unseen miracles running towards you.

Spend time in nature. I am a person who loves spending time in nature as it is a very ample way of raising our vibration and keeping ourselves in a positive momentum. You can have a quality time in the beach, wood, forest, river, garden, mountains, rocks, etc

      Source: Facebook

Eating wisely. You are what you eat; foods have vibrations of their own and they have their own consciousness they carry. For optimal health and wellbeing; it is good for you to eat organic food

Exercise. It is not every time you drive or be in the park. Sometimes you can decide to take a walk as a way of breathing in the fresh air of nature. Depending on your financial capacity you can decide to enroll in a gym to keep fit as it enhances personal development and wellness too.

Read Inspiring Books and Success Stories. There are many books with life hacks that will teach you Universal Laws and how to create your own reality. “It behooves you to learn, relearn and unlearn. Remember, a mind that is stretched by new knowledge can never go back to its prior form.”

Constant Divinity. Always remember that you are a magical divine being with divine rights to command the cosmic forces to do your bidding. Arm yourself with the knowledge of being a divine being and seek to live from a higher consciousness.

Here is what Abby Wynne has to say “the quality of your life is what you experience through the choices you make and the consequences of those choicesYou are the only one who can change the quality of your life.”

      A Poem

When I read this poem on my friend’s page on Facebook it touched and inspired me hence I decided to share with you. Hope you enjoy it (Merry Christmas and a Super Prosperous New Year!)

      Patience visited me

      And it reminded me

That good things take time to come to fruition

      And grow slowly with stability

      Peace visited me

      And it reminded me

That I may remain calm through the storms of life

Regardless of the chaos surrounding me

      Hope visited me

      And it reminded me

      That better times lay ahead

And it would always be there to guide and uplift me

      Humility visited me

      And it reminded me

      That I may achieve it

Not by trying to shrink myself and make myself less

But by focusing on serving the world and uplifting those around me

      Kindness visited me

      And it reminded me

To be more gentle, forgiving and compassionate toward myself

      And those surrounding me

      Confidence visited me

      And it reminded me

To not conceal or suppress my gifts and talents

In order to make others feel more comfortable

But to embrace what makes me me

      Focus visited me

      And it reminded me

That other people’s insecurities and judgements about me

      Are not my problem

And I should redirect my attention

      From others back to me

      Freedom visited me

      And it reminded me

That no one has control over my mindset, thoughts and wellbeing

      But me

      And love visited me

      And it reminded me

That I need not search for it in others

      As it lies within me.

      Marginalization in Nigeria

Since the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914 there has been the issue of marginalization. In fact, marginalization has eaten deep into every aspect of Nigeria’s economy!! I was honourably invited by journalist Pius Awunah to talk about the issue of marginalization in Nigeria which have been bedeviling Nigeria since inception in KAFTAN TV Station Abuja.

I am really happy to be able to participate in this Talkshow Program hosted by Pius Awunah on KAFTAN TV. I Am an African of a Different Breed

One thing I have noticed about Africans is that altruism is VERY RARE among Africans. Altruism is a culture that has not been well embraced Africans. Africans do not help each other; instead they will seek to bring you down. That is the mentality and character of many Africans. I am an African man; but I am an African of a different breed (I do not say this out of ego or self-aggrandizement; it is just the fact).

Someone was telling me few days ago that I am an African in skin colour but my consciousness, energy and life orientation are not African. That is how I want it to be!

I am the African of a different breed

I am the African who is compassionate.

I am the African who believe in altruism, higher consciousness, living in Constant Divinity and Spirituality.

I am the African who is not brainwashed

I am the African who is not gullible, narrow-minded

I am the African who takes responsibility than blaming Europe and USA for the troubles of Africa

I am the African that is Luminous and all-encompassing

I am the African who believes in equity, justice, fairness, truth and love. Love for humanity

I am the African who does not segregate people based on their skin colour or sexual orientation

I am the African who does not have religious mentality or possessed by religious spirit. I believe in worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth

I am the African who does not parade Jesus. Jesus. Jesus—rather I follow the teachings and instructions of Jesus Christ in an unconventional way

I am the African who is well connected with the Universe, Kwan Yin, Buddha, Krishna, the Sages and Ascended Masters, Cosmic Forces, Almighty I Am, Jesus Christ, Holy Mother Mary, Ganesha, Celestial Beings, Angels, Spirit Guides of Light and Love, my Fairy-Elfin-Friends, Lazaris, Galexis, Gnomes, Sylphs, Undines, Salamanders

I am the African who does not grovel

I am the African that is sovereign: free from all forms colonialism…neo and such…

I am the African who does not have an enslaved mentality

I am the African who is determined and passionate to and standing out from other Africans…

I am the African who does not follow the lower consciousness existing in Africa

I am the African who is not limited to Africa

I am the African who is fearless, quirky, maverick and positively rebellious

I am the African who knows who I am as a Conscious Divine Being

I am the African who follows New Thought and a Lover of Spirituality

      This is A TRUE STORY!

When I read this story, I was touched. At first when I saw this story on Facebook I thought it was one of those usual stories; curious led me to read through and I did. There is a BIG lesson in this story and I want you to read it. I really enjoyed it. Life has a way favoring us even in our darkest moments and lowest of lows!!

A girl was living with her uncle because her parents died of HIV. She was the only child from her mother’s womb. She was educated by her uncle from nursery to class 4 and when the girl was in class 4, the uncle saw that the girl was beautiful.

One night, he went to the girl’s room and told the girl that if she doesn’t play sex with him, he will chase her from his place and stop paying her school fees. The girl tried to cry to her uncle but he refused to understand. The girl accepted to leave her uncle’s place and went to the streets suffering, all the time crying, being hungry, being lonely and the last OPTION she had was to go down on her knees and pray to GOD till GOD answered her prayers.

A woman came driving and saw the girl praying. She stopped and asked the girl to enter into the car. She took the girl and took her back to school, bought everything for her like her daughter. The girl completed education and as we talk right now, she has completed University and working at WORLD BANK.

Even you, GOD can answer your prayers.

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala IS NOT A Great Woman!

      Ngozi Okonjo Iweala: Google Images

The name Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is a Global Name! And that is something that ought to be laudable. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is the Director-General of World Trade Organization. This is such a lofty height! But there is something missing somewhere….if you read through the Wikipedia page of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala; you will notice that she does not have anything that describes her as Altruistic and that is something that is missing in her portfolio and personality.

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is from my state (Delta State). She is from Ogwashi-Uku in Delta State. Now, one would expect that a global personality in the caliber of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala would transform her hometown into a tourist attraction or at least to a very civilized place. But the reverse is the case because there is no meaningful development in Ngozi Okonjo Iweala hometown of Ogwashi-Uku. Ogwashi-Uku is just a village—the only thing that makes it known is the polytechnic nothing more. Is it not a shameful and disappointing that Ogwashi-Uku is able to produce a global personality in the person of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala; yet she could not bring development to her hometown! This speaks volumes about her. The only thing Ngozi Okonjo Iweala has accomplished so far is wearing African fabrics. I am not in any way judging Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. But even if you want to call it judgment; are we not supposed to judge a person by results? I want you to digest the words by a Martian communicator, Mars Sector 6, in 1956.

“Judge a Man by Results.” —Mars Sector 6

“Judge a man by his detachment.

“Judge a man by his love for all.

“Judge a man by his acceptance and knowledge of Oneness.

“Judge a man by his wisdom.

“Judge a man by his Cosmic logic.

“Judge a man by his sacrifice—not for himself, not for his wife, not for his family—but for the whole world, YOUR world.”

“These are the ways to judge. Judge well, ye men of Terra, and when ye find one who passes the test of your judgment, then follow such a one even to your death.” George King (Contact with Gods from Space)

I Love the Laughing Buddha (smiles)

It is a well-known fact that laughter is therapeutic and as well contagious too! I have always thought about the Laughing Buddha and I have always loved his pictures too. After seeing the picture of the Laughing Buddha inside a Lotus Flower—shirtless I was full of wonders!! And guess what? The smile/laughter of the Laughing Buddha really made me smile/laugh! Suffice that it lifted my vibration. I kept smiling thinking about the Laughing Buddha and I began to love and admire the Laughing Buddha! Lol…so I decided to make a research about the Laughing Buddha and I found some lovely information about this amazing and Laughing Buddha which I will share with you; but before I will go ahead and share these information with you, here is what happened as I was researching about the Laughing Buddha:

While I was reading about the Laughing Buddha; I saw a line where he was described as “poor…” in my mind I said with levity and intuitively “this is not true because the Laughing Buddha represents opulence after all he does not look poor. He must have been camouflaging simplicity and low-key…” to my greatest surprise I read the next line describing the Laughing Buddha as symbolizing abundance and contentment; something I have firsthand intuitively realized!

So without further ado, here are the information about the Laughing Buddha I hope the Laughing Buddha causes you to smile!

Laughing Buddha statues are perhaps one of the most loved artefacts. They are commonly seen in homes, offices, hotels, gardens, restaurants, shops, and museums and temples. They are made of wood, metal, porcelain, and stone or painted in colour and line.

The Laughing Buddha is a symbol of happiness, contentment and prosperity. He is called ‘Budai’ in Chinese. Figures of the Laughing Buddha at the Salar Jung Museum are popular with the visitors.

The Laughing Buddha is a symbol of happiness, contentment and prosperity. He is called ‘Budai’ in Chinese. Figures of the Laughing Buddha at the Salar Jung Museum are popular with the visitors.

      (Source: https://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/Hyderabad/laughing-buddha-spreading-good-cheer-world-over/article4627779.ece )

According to Chinese tradition, ‘Budai’ was an eccentric Chinese Zen monk who lived during the later Liang dynasty (907-923 AD) of China. He was a native of Fenghua and his Buddhist name was Qieci (Chinese : Pinyin). He was considered a man of good and loving character. Some Buddhist traditions consider him a Buddha or ‘Bodhisattva’, usually Maitreya (the future Buddha). His large protruding stomach and jolly smile have given him the common designation “Laughing Buddha”.

In Japanese, ‘Budai’ is pronounced as ‘Hotei’. It means ‘clothsack’ or ‘glutton’. It is believed that if one rubs the belly of Buddha, it brings good luck and wealth. The Laughing Buddha is also seen as one of the seven Japanese Shinto Gods of luck.

In Thailand, ‘Budai’ is sometimes confused with a widely-respected monk, ‘Sangkachai’. ‘Sangkachai’ was a Budhist ‘Arhat’ (Arahant in ‘Pali’) during the time of Lord Buddha. Lord Buddha praised Angkachai for his excellence in explaining Dharma easily and correctly.

He was one of the Eighteen ‘Arhats’ of Buddhism.

However, two points distinguish ‘Sangkachai’ from ‘Budai’.

While Sangkachai has a trace of hair on his head, ‘Budai’ is clearly bald. And while ‘Budai’ covers both arms and leaves the torso uncovered, Sangkachai wears robes folded across one shoulder.

Chinese temples have figures of the Laughing Buddha located at temple entrances. He is often worshipped as a God of good luck and prosperity.

The Lingyin temple in Hangchou has a Laughing Buddha carved out of camphor wood, over 60-feet tall and gilded with one hundred ounces of gold leaf. The Lama temple in Beijing has the largest Laughing Buddha, which is carved from a single piece of wood.

Taiwan’s Treasure Cognition temple at Taichung houses the country’s largest Laughing Buddha, with his bald head touching the ceiling.

Called ‘Fat Buddha’ in English-speaking countries, ‘Hasne Buddha’ in Nepalese, the Laughing Buddha is all about blurring the cultural divide between West and East as he brings good luck to all.

An account exists of the post mortem appearances of Budai, the Laughing Buddha, recorded in the Ching-te ch’uan-teng-lu (The Transmission of the Lamp), written between 1004 and 1007 CE by the monk Shi Daoyuan.

“In the third month of the third year of Cheng Ming (917 AD), the Master proclaimed his approaching parinirvana. At the Yueh-lin Temple, he took up his seat, cross legged, on a flat stone below the Eastern veranda, and spoke the following verse:

“Maitreya, the Veritable Maitreya, divides his body into ten thousand million parts. From time to time, appearing among men, he proclaims the Truth to the men of that era, but they naturally do not recognise him.”

Budai has origins centered around cult worship and local legend.[6] He is traditionally depicted as a fat, bald monk wearing a simple robe. He carries his few possessions in a cloth sack, being poor but content.[7] He would excitingly entertain the adoring children that followed him and was known for patting his large belly happily. His figure appears throughout Chinese culture as a representation of both contentment and abundance. Budai attracted the townspeople around him as he was able to predict people’s fortunes and even weather patterns.[5] The wandering monk was often inclined to sleep anywhere he came to, even outside, for his mystical powers could ward off the bitter colds of snow and his body was left unaffected. A recovered death note dated to 916 or 917 A.D., which the monk himself wrote, claims that he is an incarnation of Maitreya, the Buddha of the Future.

When he had finished reciting this verse, he quietly died. Afterwards, there were men in his neighbourhood who saw the Master, carrying his bag as before and walking. Because of this, the monks vied with one another in painting his likeness. Now in the Yueh-lin Temple, in the Eastern part of the Great Hall, is preserved his body (embalmed), and people in many places speak of his re-apparition as a proven fact.”

“Plus 1” Syndrome: does it have a hold on you?

People celebrate birthday everyday because every day is someone’s birthday elsewhere. There are lots of birthday songs out there to complement this thing called birth-day. What is birthday? It is that simple: the day you were born. Why do people celebrate their birthdays? Haha!! To mark the day they were born into this Plane of Existence called Earth!

      Birthday Pic: Google Images.

Countries, organizations and other institutions celebrate their birthday (also known as Independence Day celebrations). I am from Nigeria and the Nigeria’s independence (assuming Nigeria is truly independent) is celebrated every October 1st because Nigeria got a so-called independence from Britain in October 1st 1960.

In Christianity, Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ on the 25th December of every year which is called Christmas; other religions have their own days where they celebrate the birth of whatever Deities they believe in as well.

I am the curator lol! So I still have my pictures of my birthday when I was a child. You know the childhood birthday pictures you snap back in the days….it is always full of memories, love and innocence! As I have grown older; I have not paid much attention to celebrating my birthday as I don’t see it as something that has a top priority in my life. Although when I was a Jehovah’s Witness celebrating birthday was demonized. I am a Virgo and September is my birthday (September 22 to be precise). But my attention is not even focused on celebrating my birthday; I think it does not matter to me whether I celebrate my birthday or not. I am not attached to celebrating my birthday (side note: not because a teaching from my former religion Jehovah’s Witness).

Before now, I mean many years back—when people were celebrating their birthdays I used to hear them say out their actual age with joy and proud. But for a reason I am yet to fathom the narrative has changed!! Nowadays, when people are celebrating their birthdays what you hear is “I am +1 today…” I think that is MADNESS! Why do you think someone who is celebrating his or her birthday should hide his age or her age? Is there any crime in saying out your age?

Apart from this trend that has taken up birthday celebration; people seem to be very attached to celebrating birthdays. I am not against it but the way people go about it most times is quite alarming and can be a cause of raising eyebrow…my opinion is everything should be done in moderation and decently.

What is your take on people hiding their age during their birthday celebration? Are there any cultural beliefs, stereotype or spiritual meaning attached to people not wanting to say out their age during their birthday celebrations? Do you think the word “+1” is the right thing to say during someone’s birthday celebration? What would happen or what is the worst that could happen if someone says out his or her actual age during their birthday celebration? Is it that people are ashamed to say out their actual age during birthday celebrations? Are you among those categories of people who have been adopted the term “+1”? If yes, why did you start using +1 during your birthday celebrations?

To everyone who is celebrating their birthday I wish you an abundant and superb birthday. Wishing you an aging with Grace and Glory!

      GHADA GAD STOLE MY POEMS!!!

Egypt has been a country I value and honour since my childhood. According to history; civilization started from Egypt and Egypt has one of the Seven Wonders of the World! I have always been fascinated by Egyptian history, culture, people and mythologies. When I was in high school I would sit in the library for hours exploring Egyptian mythologies. As one who loves voyaging Egypt is among my favorite tourist destination—but because of what I have experienced from an Egyptian; I would now say that Egypt used to be among favorite tourist destination; because I am no longer holding Egypt in a high esteem. Neither are my honouring Egypt again! Suffice to say that I have begun seeing all Egyptians and Egypt as a country in entirety as WICKED, DECEITFUL and PHONY!! There is a reason for this: remember it takes only one grain sand to tip the scale in either direction.

      Pyramids of Egypt
      Sphinx

One Egyptian has made me to see all Egyptians as the same. Why? Because I trusted this Egyptian woman called Ghada Gad. She is a journalist and a translator but she took my trust and respect I had for her as a weakness. However, I have the FULL confidence and FAITH that the Universe, Karma, Kwan Yin, Angels and the Cosmic Forces are coming after Ghada Gad; because Ghada Gad MUST face the consequences of what she has done to me. There is no way Ghada Gad is going to escape her Nemesis of her actions!

I know someone will be asking what Ghada Gad did to Kingsley and what happened? What happened and what Ghada Gad did to Kingsley is this: Ghada Gad stole my poems!! Read through my explanations below.

One Egyptian journalist and translator by name Ghada Gad. I met Ghada Gad on LinkedIn 2022; according to the LinkedIn profile of Ghada Gad, she is a Translator (English/Arabic)& classicist (Freelance journalist). Ghada Gad has 500+ connections on LinkedIn. Her location specifies Alexandria, Egypt and her educational institution also specifies Alexandria University. She has an M.A. of literary criticism in 2008 from Alexandria University. Anyway, I will attach screenshot of Ghada Gad LinkedIn profile.

Now, the problem I am having with Ghada Gad is that she stole my poems!!!Let me explain:

After I met Ghada on LinkedIn we started having a good rapport. It was there I introduced myself to her that I am a writer. Yes, I have a children’s book on Amazon and other bookstores worldwide; the title is Cindy and Her Beautiful Bird. I am also a blogger at www.kingsley-osajie.com and I am from Delta State, Nigeria but I live in Abuja, Nigeria. Ghada Gad and I started having mutual conversations. Subsequently, I told Ghada Gad about my love and familiarity for Egypt. How I used to stay up late in the library reading about Egyptian mythology, culture and history when I was in high school. It seemed very fascinating to Ghada Gad. From there I told Ghada Gad that I have written a poem about the Sphinx in Egypt and the Nile River. Ghada Gad was really excited and she asked me to send her my poems about Egypt. I felt a little reluctant to send her my poems but I thought of how we have been conversing for some months and I thought that Ghada Gad was an authentic and credible person so I sent her my poems via email. The screenshot I have attach here in this post.

I sent Ghada my poems on April 12, 2022. I sent it to her email address (ghadagad1975@yahoo.com) she acknowledged receipt and promised me that she would make sure my poems are published. That she was going to start working on the translation of my poems into Arabic and once she is done she would forward it to an editor and then it would be published. I have evidences of my conversation with Ghada Gad on LinkedIn.

After giving me her words that I should not worry that she (Ghada Gad) would publish my poems the next thing I saw is that Ghada Gad blocked me on LinkedIn. I could not reach her on LinkedIn anymore but there was no way I could send her messages. She also deleted her messages to me; but thankful to LinkedIn because I was able to retrieve Ghada Gad deleted messages, view them and made screenshots of them.

      My Conversation with Ghada Gad
      My Conversation with Ghada Gad
My email of sending Ghada Gad my Poems
      Ghada Gad acknowledging my email

Ghada Gad has made my view of Egypt and Egyptians to tilt…I am not happy with Ghada Gad. Ghada Gad MUST be brought to book and justice should be given out to me. Ghada Gad should publish my poems as she has previously agreed.

“The game of Life is a game of boomerangs. Our deeds, words and thoughts returns to us, sooner or later with astounding accuracy.”  Florence Scovel Shinn

No matter what, Ghada Gad must face the consequences of her actions and I am open for anyone to join me in this cause for Ghada Gad to be exposed. There is no peace for the wicked.

      DESTINATION

In this ever-evolving Universe, everything is vibrating and everything is moving: either in different directions or the same directions. Nothing is stagnant. Everything and everyone has “where” they are going to. It is a common communication between people—when you get to the motor park you are being asked your destination. It applies to the airport, railway station and every other aspects of human existence.

One day, I was in the cab—I was not the only one in the cab; there were other passengers. The cab was moving and everyone was on silence. With time, each passenger started alighting at their various destinations. So it happened till I was the only one remaining in the cab. Just me and the driver—I actually began to feel a kind of lonely, sober and curious…I was filled with wonder. Inside my mind I was thinking something: and I was thinking about destinations. Not only was I thinking about the destinations of my fellow passengers. I was also thinking about life too. I looked out from the window and I saw cars, vehicles etc moving to-and-fro in different directions…all headed to a particular but different destinations!

Each time I see cars and vehicles moving to and fro. Where are they going to? They all have their destinations. Same thing applies when I am on the highway; you see people moving up and down, left and right etc. they all have different destinations! That is to show you that everything is moving.

Now, the BIG question, is do you have a destination? Do you know your destination? The word destiny, destined and destination all has the same meaning because it talks about a path of life…I mean Life-Path—and when you are following a path it is leading YOU “somewhere.” So, when you hear people talk about destiny just remember that they are talking about the path of life your Soul has chosen to follow or live in. Everyone cannot have the same destiny. I know my destination and I am following it.

Again, I will round up this post by asking you: what is your destination? Where is your destination?

WHY DO PEOPLE USE ROAD SIDE MANICURE AND PEDICURE?

      Google Images

By nature, humans are “crazy” including me! Lol! There is something I have been noticing…now people will say it is a normal thing or justify it by saying that is a personal hygienic practice. Hmm…well it ought to be a personal hygienic practice; but then I think there is a limit to things we should do. Although it all boils down to different strokes for different folks!

Actually, I never thought I would write about something like this but it became so recurrent and prevalent that it caught my attention and I have to. The question now is, is this habit born out of laziness…? Let me go straight to the topic:

You know it is good to maintain a good personal hygienic routine. But at the same time I think we should exercise some level of boundaries and standards. Nowadays, I see that most people especially in the streets I see this happening. They have turned to these Hausa men to take care of their manicure and pedicure. Now, these people are just ordinary citizens. These Hausa men do the manicure and pedicure for these people and they pay them. BUT, I do not find it hygienic or a good thing. The question is, what it will take for someone to use the razor or nail clipper to cut their finger nails and toe nails?  Why wait for someone else to come and do that for you. And the craziest thing is that you see them stretch out their hands or feet and the Hausa man does the pedicure and manicure innocently and attentively. It looks crazy to me.

      Google Images

Do not get me wrong. I love taking care of my body as well but not in this way. Even if I want to have manicure and pedicure; it should not be done by the street men. In fact, suffice to say that it is not even healthy. Going to a saloon is better than just stopping one Hausa man to come and cut your finger nails and toe nails for you. I was with someone some time ago and the person called a Hausa to come and caught his finger nails. In the process, the Hausa man was mistakenly cutting his flesh. How irritated I was!!

Another question, is how sanitized and sterilized are the equipments of these Hausa men used in manicure and pedicure? It is so sad that many people do not pay attention to their health. Forgetting that through these unhygienic health practices they are opening themselves up to contact infections and diseases.

One will say that I am trying to put those Hausa men out of business by condemning their work. I am not really condemning their work. What I am doing is a constructive criticism. In advanced countries of the world such unhygienic practices do not happen. The ideal thing is for these Hausa men to open up a saloon shop where people will come and patronize them. That way it would be more hygienic and better; but if you want to start analyzing that it boils down to our country we are living that is lope-sided and backward.

Do you use roadside manicure and pedicure to treat your finger nails and toe nails?

      “She MUST DIE Before Me”!

      Nigerian Wedding: Google images

When you hear the kind of life orientation and mentality of some people you will be dumbfounded. You begin to ask yourself what kind of blood is flowing in such person’s body. No doubt, we are living in a patriarchal society…some times when I remember my experience from whence the title of this post came from I am left dumbfounded and shrugging my shoulder in WONDER.

It was during the Christmas season in 2020; I went to a meeting—that meeting is a contribution meeting where they share foodstuffs at the end of the year. But I am not a member of the meeting. I went there to represent my brother as he was not around. There in the meeting, there is this pandemonium which can be either a good one or bad one. In such gatherings altercations are not left out. I actually minded my own business and acted as a spectator; they shared palm wine (known as Ozuu) in my native language. I love palm wine because it is natural and nourishing!

As we were enjoying the palm wine; a lady walked into the compound to fetch water—and then came a murmuring and uproar…one man sitting opposite me gave the lady a nasty look and hissed with anger. “Women of nowadays are nothing to write home about…how can a woman be wearing that kind of dress….”? The young lady was wearing a tight trouser showing the shape of her body and skin. I am sure she did not know they were talking about her. Some of the men in the meeting were laughing while others were joined in the scolding.

The man who began talking about the lady took it very personal because he was very angry. “Don’t be surprised that this lady is married and she is dressing like this…” he said with resentment. “That is why I have said that my wife must die before me. She must die before me.” He affirmed emphatically and passionately. One man among them asked him his reason for saying such statement and he answered: “If I die before my wife she will have the privilege to start dressing the way she likes; another man will take her and start having relationship with her. Even in my grave I will not be happy with her and I will seek revenge. So she must die before me that is the only way there will be peace…”

“So you do not want your wife to have a companion if you are dead. Besides, don’t you think two of you will grow old together and by that time you must have finished training your children and it will be just the two of you? Or is it not your wish for the two of you to grow old together”? Another man told him. “Men often die before their wives because of the struggles and suffering men pass through in order to provide for their wife and children. So if I die before my wife another man will come and take and start enjoying what I have labored for. That cannot happen! She must die before me! From his countenance one could tell easily that he is a vindictive and malicious person—the territorial and jealous partners!

I could not believe my ears and eyes when I heard him say these. In my mind, I was like: now the poor wife is at home innocent; maybe she is hurrying to prepare meal for her beloved husband and the so-called beloved husband is outside planning evil ahead of her! Too bad! In my own opinion and full transparency; I do not think this man is a good man. He does not love the wife—otherwise why would he have such plans.

On the other hand do you think a wife would say such or wish such for her husband?

      ENCHANTED!!

      Image: Shawn Engel (www.witchywisdom.com)

This Earth we live in is a sea of energy!! Earth—though appears to be a physical realm; but trust me Earth is a realm that has both the physical and spiritual energies in it. Like Zoroaster correctly said “There is one God and a continuous struggle between the forces light and darkness.” When I was a Jehovah’s Witness, we were taught not to believe in some spiritual acts which happen to humans or caused by humans: even if you want to call it witchcraft, spell, hexes, jinxes, black magic. During my time as a Jehovah’s Witness, I subliminally knew that life is beyond the physical and that there is more than meet the eyes…!

I was in a spiritual gathering some time ago when a young man shared an experience of what HAPPENED to him. It is SO OVERWHELMING and decided not to keep it to myself but to share with you a very touching story that happened to a young man. To protect his identity and privacy, I will call him Samson in this article (even if it not his real name).

One Sunday morning in the spiritual gathering I was in with my friend. During the activities; a young handsome guy came forward to share what happened him. Samson came forward and introduced himself. He was living in Germany and doing well in Germany. As we are living in a modern and digital world; there are many ways to meet people especially on the internet. Samson is a young guy who was ready to be in a relationship and get married. According to him, he met a girl online and they started chatting. They were chatting while he was in Germany. Until “SOMETHING” happened!

      Google.com/Google images

Samson said he has been in Nigeria for the past two years and “forgot” to go back to Germany. Now, the question is why would someone who is living abroad; visited Nigeria and then forget to go back to Germany? Something should be amiss somewhere—do not you think so? As Samson shared his story everyone was listening with a rapt attention; including me! And then Samson dropped the breaking news….his forgetting to back to Germany was caused by a spelled he was under its influence!!!!

      source: Google.com/Google images

The girl Samson was dating went to a Babalawo (Shaman) and cast a spell on Samson to not remember to go back to Germany. According to Samson, his intention was to come to Nigeria, spend some time with the girl, go back to Germany and then come back and wed the girl and take her to Germany. But something happened—according to him; he was spending on the girl and her family; even footing the bills of the girl’s university school fees. He continued this way for complete two years—he said one day he was lying on the bed when he felt like scales were out of his eyes and that he regained his sense/consciousness! He asked me himself subliminally “What are my still doing in Nigeria”? He checked the calendar and realized that he has been in Nigeria for two years forgetting his job and residence in Germany!! With synchronicity, he came across a prophet who revealed to him that he was under a spell that is why he has not gone back to Germany.

It was revealed to Samson that the girl he was dating took his picture to a shaman who broke many eggs on his (Samson) head and tied him spiritually so that he would not go back to Germany and to always do the bidding of the girl he was dating! The prophet instructed Samson to go on a one week fasting and prayer so that the spell can be broken; having heard this Samson was shocked and overwhelmed; he had no choice than to obey the prophet’s instruction. Later on, he met the girl and jokingly decided to check her phone; behold! There were the pictures of the witchcraft activities and spell that was worked on Samson! He could not believe his eyes and that was the end of the relationship.

After the service, Samson was prayed for and counseled. According to him, he said he felt inspired to come and join us in the spiritual gathering. When he finished sharing his experience with us, he told us that he went to the German embassy in Nigeria to sort out his travelling schedules; that his travelling documents were all ready. Samson went back to Germany the following week.

      Praise God!!

One thing I know for sure is that; no matter how strong and powerful a black magic/witchcraft activities or demonic forces may seem to be. Against the power of Light there can be n victory!

      Light will always conquers darkness

‘Until Black Lives Matter to Black People, Nobody Cares’ – Cynthia Morgan

I have been following up with the issue of Black Lives Matter; and I have a LOT to say about it. There are some BITTER TRUTHS that needs to be exposed!! But that would be a story for another day; in the meantime I thought I would share with you this overwhelming, inspiring, beautiful and thought-provoking write up by a Nigerian singer: Cynthia Morgan.

      Cynthia Morgan

Before I share with you Cynthia Morgan perspective on the Black Lives Matter; I would like to let you know that I never had a regard for Cynthia Morgan until I read her write up. Upon reading it; I was like WOW!! So this woman has such intellectual prowess and wisdom? Quickly, I followed her in all her social media platforms, downloaded her songs, pictures and started using her song as my caller tune.

Truth be told, Cynthia really made a salient point. Hear what she has to say below

I am not an American, but I am a Black woman. Maybe the America saga is none of my business but I am Human, Ok, I have seen two of the most horrific videos in my life time.

Never seen somebody die that way with no respect whatsoever and all I see is black people ranting on social media created by our white friends. Some of them might not like us, just know we caused it.

It all goes back to when it all started.

Now we have to stand up and earn our respects back, and it’s not by crying on social media and begging for equality like spoilt babies.

      1. Ya all need a Black Nation.
      2. Invest more on black people and black ideas.
      3. Let every black life count to you as a black person first before you preach it to other people.

White people have every right to be proud and do whatever pleases them. Its only natural, that’s how people act when they see all your comfort and life depends on them.

What we are fighting is more than just color thing, It’s more of mentality problems and it’s a way of the devil putting separation and chaos in the world so we all won’t come together and be in peace.

If we all in peace how then can he fulfill taking people to hell with him? And this has to be fought with God’s knowledge not guns, only cowards pull guns in a towel fight, even this cops knows this.

The only reason why white cops don’t and wouldn’t kill a white man is because they respect themselves and they know what they have put into building their nation. It’s hard before you see a white man pull a white man down intentionally.

Black People are special people, we need to believe more in ourselves. You all can’t even come back to Africa because Africa is not ready for ya’ll. Most of you forgot your roots and stayed angry that they sold your forefathers out but somehow you still prefer it there.

Black people might no longer be in chains of a white man physically but somehow they still are mentally. We need to build our own so we can earn our own respect back. Put some respect in you as a black man, else we are always going to be 2nd choice.

Until black lives matters to black lives, nobody cares. I am good with my black people with a couple of white friends, but if they wouldn’t have me I wouldn’t either. #Bless

The Real Truth Behind Wrestling And Why It Is Fake

      WWE; (Opera News)

I have always been fascinated by the Wrestling sport since childhood. I remember watching the wrestling sport on TV when I was a child. Often times, we watch together as a family. Sometimes I watch it alone with my siblings. As I grow up I became even more fascinated and curious with this amazing and entertaining sport. Sure, I have my favorite wrestlers in male and female. On top of this; I also learnt some skills in wrestling (LOL). To date, the wrestling sits at the top of one of my favorite sports!

As my curiosity about the WWE grew so did my curiosity about the authenticity of wrestling grow! I began to wonder about all the punches, kicks and what have you… that is why today I decided to share with you the real truths about this amazing sport wrestling! I have the confidence you will learn one or two things from the information below.

The World Wrestling Entertainment is one of the worlds biggest and richest companies with millions and millions of fans all over the world. It is normally shortened as WWE and it’s a professional kind of game in the US that is meant to entertain fans all over the world.

This great company was founded in the year 1980 and on the 21st of February and The CEO Vince McMahon is one of the key founders of this entertainment company together with his wife Linda McMahon. As of the reports released in 2020, the company’s net worth still stands at $ 5.71 billion and still counting.

For many years, there have been speculations and questions rose as to whether the stunts done in some of the wrestling matches are real or just meant for entertainment purposes. Ever understood whether or not WWE is a fake sport or a real one? This is a question that many have been asking themselves for years and over the recent years, people are beginning to discover the truth for themselves with regard to how real wrestling is.

To answer and bring satisfaction to anyone reading this article and needs and an answer, then you should know That, WWE is an entertaining sport and there is nothing real about all the stunts that we get to see in the ring.

      How do they get winners?

According to WWE rules and standards, it is founder and CEO Vince McMahon who gets to decide the person who wins any match. He works closely with the script writers who ensure that whatever he decides is the exact thing that happens in the ring

The agents also works very well to ensure the matches are properly fixed to ensure everything makes a lot of sense. Another thing you should know however is that despite the fact that the winner is known and it’s already in the script, nobody knows how the winner will win and that is why they are specially trained for that very purpose.

Are there any injuries during matches?

One question that most people probably ask is about injuries. We often get to see injuries sometimes in some matches and there is nothing fake about the injuries. Even though the wrestlers don’t intentionally hurt each other, accidents do happen and in some cases a knee may be broken or any other injury in any way.

Despite the fact that all things are scripted, there are times when things go out of hand and as a matter of fact the most memorable moments in history of the WWE are those moments that were not scripted. According to reports, most of the scripts in the WWE are written by Bryan Danielson together with other staff members in the writing team.

      What of steel chairs?

Am sure you have seen those moments when an opponent had to be hit by a steel chair and you keep wondering whether it hurts. Anything that is steel like landing in your body will definitely hurt and that’s a fact. The wrestlers have however been trained to do it in a manner that the opponent will not be hurt. The only thing that was banned by Vince McMahon was using the steel chairs to hit the head because it would more often than not lead to serious concussions.

The fact that the matches are scripted does not out rightly mean they are totally fake, some of the stunts are real and the only difference is that the people involved have been well trained for that kind of thing.

You will find great enemies suddenly being kept in the same team for a match and all that is to show you that it’s a scripted thing.

      Your Energy Is Your Responsibility

In my previous post, I shared some gems of wisdom from the amazing Sarah Prout and today here I bring you another inspiring post from Sarah Prout. It talks about Energy; when I finally came to grasp a complete understanding of the term Energy; I now agree that everything is Energy and your Energy is your responsibility. Read and found out for yourself!

It’s time to take your power back! In the hustle and bustle of our busy lives we cross paths with numerous energetic frequencies and vibrations that can potentially disturb our flow. Too often people hand over their power when they feel that they are being pushed out of their comfort zones – even for the smallest of things. For instance, if someone is being overly negative you might feel drained. People in the spiritual or personal growth space tend to get a little scared of negativity. Or if someone isn’t behaving in the way that you think they “should” you feel annoyed and irritated. This happens time and time again in relationships that need more compassion and understanding.

It’s in these moments that you must remind yourself that you have the power to guide your energy in the direction that will serve you.

Fear or love? Stillness or judgement? You get to choose.

      Sarah Prout (www.sarahprout.com)

This magical realization helps to move from the perception that life is happening to you instead of through you. There is a big difference. Do you see it? Life happens through you, as you are the creator of your own reality.

More than likely the energetic obstacles or upsets that get placed on your path (that you think are swaying your vibe) are actually Divine instruments to help you grow spiritually. The Universe LOVES to test the souls that put their hands up to dive into the spiritual lessons of expansion.

Energy management is like building up a muscle The more you consciously guide your awareness to take ownership and responsibility for your own energy, the more you will become a powerful manifestor. You’ll strengthen your capability to spend your energy wisely and understand that nothing can interfere with your energy without your consent.

So instead of blaming a person or situation for depleting your spiritual reserves, remember that you have a choice. You are the pilot of your soul plane and more than likely you’ll experience some turbulence, but the plane will still remain in the air.

The common mistake is to believe that external forces have the power to lower your vibration. When it’s actually the other way around. Think of it as an opportunity to raise your vibration when you are faced with less-than-desirable situations. You are being strengthened. As a manifestor, as a spiritual being, you are being given a blessing to WORK WITH, not against.

2 Things I LOVE About Korra Obidi

I knew about Korra Obidi when the news of her marriage failure with her American husband Justin Dean. Before then I did not know about Korra Obidi; what amazed me most is that Korra Obidi is from my state (Delta State). From there I knew also that Korra is a dancer and singer. In truth, I can say that Korra is a beautiful woman, a woman of substance and truly talented! Suffice to say that I am a huge fan of Korra Obidi as I am following her on all her social media.

Recently Korra wrote a children’s book titled The Last Seed of Odinani; so it means that Korra is also an author. Is this not laudable? Sure it is! As a an ardent follower of Korra Obidi; I have discovered some things about her and I want to share with you the things I have discovered about Korra Obidi—things that makes me LOVE Korra Obidi.

      1. Korra Obidi is a Natural Woman. In today’s world, women (especially Nigerian/Black African women and Black American women) are now CRAZE after lightening their skin. Bleaching their skin has become the order of the day. The rate at which most women bleach their skin is very alarming and disappointing (even some are joining in this madness too). It begins to make one to wonder what happens to maintaining your natural skin color. I must also admit that I was once caught up in this madness of bleaching skin during my teenage years. But thanks to personal development and new knowledge that helped me stop towing that useless path of bleaching. There is nothing beautiful about bleaching your skin. I don’t want to start talking about the effects of bleaching skin. I am sure you know about them.

If you look Korra Obidi she maintains her original black skin color and that makes TRULY beautiful!! Honestly, men and women who bleach their skin are just engaging in some madness in practice. You cannot trade your originality for artificiality!! Korra Obidi is a role model to women (being divorced does not mean you are a bad person because I know many women and men are going to start pointing at the failed marriage of Korra Obidi).

      2. Korra Obidi loves Buddha. When I started following Korra Obidi I noticed that she used the multiple hands of Kwan Yin as her profile picture in her Instagram page. Then again, I was watching Korra’s song Royal Lamba and I saw the picture of Buddha in the video. In my full transparency, I LOVE this song and it is actually one of my favorites as I always play it on repeat, sing along and dance along! LOL! In the video of Korra Obidi song; the Buddha’s picture is SO visible and close to Korra.

Now, the question is who does not love Buddha or Kwan Yin. If I am going to be honest; I will say that these two Light Beings (Guan Yin (also Kwan Yin) and Buddha are TRULY Light Beings worth loving as they embody wisdom, grace, enlightenment and compassion in its HIGHEST form! I follow the wisdom and teachings of Guan Yin and Buddha and trust me it has been life-changing for me. I actually have the pictures of Buddha and Kwan Yin in my room.

Another thing I love about Buddha and Guan Yin is that they are Universal Beings. They are accessible to anyone who is aligned with them. There are other Light Beings who do not make themselves accessible to everyone. They are only limited to a specific region, person/people. But in the case of Guan Yin and Buddha it is not like that!

I will round up this post by saying

      Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa

      Namo Buddhaya
