Mercy Johnson and Her Colleagues: The Way I See It

(From left: Angela Okorie, Mercy Johnson & Husband: Legit News)

I do not usually interfere the squabbles of celebrities. But this one really got my attention. For some time now, there have been altercations upon altercations between Nollywood actresses. This time the altercation is between Mercy Johnson and Angela Okorie. Mercy Johnson is a household name in Nigeria and one of the most popular Nollywood actresses. But it looks as if she is in hot water.

What made me to be interested in this issue is because Mercy Johnson has refused to come out to clear her name. Instead of her to come out and clear her name. The husband was the one who came out to give a reply. Something I find to be very distasteful, unmanly and unwise.

So what is the altercation between Mercy Johnson and Angela Okorie about?

Angela Okorie Calls Out Mercy Johnson

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has called out her colleague Mercy Johnson Okojie with surprising clandestine claims against her.

In her Instagram story, she declared that it is time for murders, blood-drinking devils, and evildoers in Nollywood to be put to an end.

“Time up for evildoers in Nollywood. Time up for Mercy J. After these prayers, I pray some of you don’t turn to Goat. Cos, I don’t know why she is turning into a goat instead of Snake. God abeg o,” she said in part.

Nigerian actress Angela Okorie generated another buzz online as she called out Mercy Johnson Okojie The screen goddess made several mysterious claims about her colleague and also added her late mother to the picture Angela further pointed out the importance of prayers in the Nollywood industry so that God could open their eyes to all that she was seeing.

Actress, Mercy Johnson’s Alleged Best Friend Accuses Actress of Being a Witch, Recalls Childhood Experience

The recent accusation against veteran Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie by her colleague, Angela Okorie has escalated further. This is as Ifeoma, who is allegedly a former best friend to the mother of four, told her story as she called Mercy out for witchcraft.

During an Instagram live session with Angela, who recently dragged Zubby Michael, Ifeoma accused Mercy of black magic, alleging that her late mother was the brain behind it. According to Ifeoma, Mercy was initiated at a young age as her mum and grandmum were witches. Recounting a childhood experience, Ifeoma claimed Mercy’s mum made her exchange her clothes with the actress in a strange room.

I watched this video on Instagram of Ifeoma (Mercy Johnson childhood friend telling Angela Okorie about this same issue). From what I can deduce is that someone cannot have such effrontery to spill out these facts if there is no evidence or experience of it.

No doubt, Mercy Johnson is a talented actress. Even before all these squabbles has begun; I have somehow felt the same way about Mercy Johnson. Well, there is nothing wrong in using one’s metaphysical power for one’s upliftment. So if Mercy Johnson is a witch and she used her witchcraft to launch herself into limelight; then good for her! But if there are evil activities on her part like her childhood friend Ifeoma has been saying that Mercy Johnson mother swapped her destiny with Mercy destiny; then Karma and Nemesis will definitely come for Mercy. Also, I am not too surprised to hear this about Mercy Johnson because since I learnt that she is from Kogi state; that was when I knew she would definitely behave like a Kogi person.

Back to Mercy Johnson Husband

Many people have slammed Mercy Johnson husband for his response to Angela Okorie. For me Mercy husband coming out to give a response to Angela is very foolish. If he was a wise husband, he would encourage Mercy to come out and address the issue. From the response he gave to Angela Okorie that alone justified everything that Angela Okorie has said about Mercy Johnson. Plus, Mercy Johnson keeping quiet over it justifies it too.

I want to hear from you. Do you think it is right for a husband to reply his wife’s colleague or friend when his wife is being called out by her friend/colleague? Does it even make sense for a man to be the one to reply to his wife’s friend/colleague when the wife is having squabbles with her friends/colleagues? Could it not have been better for Mercy husband to advise Mercy to come out and clear her name or respond to Angela and her own childhood best friend? What better way could Mercy Johnson husband have responded? Just in case you are wondering: here is what Mercy Johnson responded to Angela Okorie

“Na Mango Wey Ripe Dem They Throw Sticks at”

In turn, Angela Okorie responded to Mercy husband

Reacting to claims of her battling mental issues, Angela, in a live video, mocked Prince Okojie, whom she called a houseboy under his wife’s alleged witchcraft influence.

She added that Prince would remain under Mercy’s spell for the rest of his life. Amid the backlash that trailed her comment about Mercy, Angela stood by her accusations against Mercy. “To that houseboy wey dem dey use; you no fit get sense for life, na so you go dey carry handbag for life. I no dey tarnish the image of Mercy Johnson, I called her out with my full chest. Why? Because at the end of the day, you’re not better than me,” she said.

Kogi people are FAMOUSLY known for being VERY diabolical. Kogi is a state in central Nigeria; Black magic is the MAINSTAY of Kogi people. I read a Kogi girl saying that though she is from Kogi state that she can never live in Kogi. Another one said he had to run away from Kogi state so that they will not kill him as he was the only child of his parents. I have a reservation for that state…and trust me when you hear someone say that Kogi people are evil believe it.

Personally, I have also had an experience with a Kogi person. We were supposed to be a team member. But his toxicity was too much for me to bear. Even from the first day he told me that he is from Kogi state that was when I knew he would behave like one and he did. For my sanity and wellness, I had to pull out of that group and got rid of him. It was a very good riddance.

See What Happened to Me in 2023

This year 2023 has been nothing short of adventures for me. With so MANY lessons and BLESSINGS; as we are now in the last month of the year, I am full of reflections of the past eleven months. I am looking forward with a great curiosity what the following year is bringing for me.

Reflections and Meditations

I used to do New Year Resolutions but I have chosen a different approach. Actually, I am not condemning doing New Year Resolutions. It helps to give clarity and directions. Suffice to say that it also helps to set the tone for a positive life momentum. Yes, I have the things I love to manifest in the New Year.

Dear Universe, Kwan Yin, Buddha, Jesus Christ, Holy Mother Mary, Spirit Guides and Angels dwelling in the Realms of Light and Love:

I thank you for all the provision, protection and progress I have made this year so far. I am looking forward to the following year (2024) in confidence, gratitude and sure expectations of the many miracles, endorsements, appointments, progress and unlimited possibilities that is already cooking for me in the Greater (Invisible) Realms of Light and Love—all of which are manifesting for my highest good and wellbeing.

Receiving. When the Universe finally delivers my requests (LOL)

Thank you for the Extravagant Grace and Wisdom to live in harmony with my dreams and Divine Rights and to be a Pillar of Light. I am also thankful because my family and I are safe, sound, strong and well taken care of.

Yes, let all the Goodies of 2024 pour forth to me—kith and kin. My hands are wide open to receive them. For this I am thankful.

Christmas is just one week away from today; it is a season of busyness and “Love” as they say. But I still believe that Love is a fruit in all seasons and it is within the reach of every hand. As said by the beloved Mother Theresa. I have grown past the consciousness of seasonal love and giving. I strongly believe that every day is Christmas. Giving and Love are things to be done every day. I also strongly believe that remembering the birth of Christ should not only for festivities—it should also be reflected in our lives and daily living. Now, in saying in this I am certainly not condemning celebrating Christmas or condemning people celebrating. It is good to celebrate Christmas.

Expectations and Looking forward to a better tomorrow

One thing I have grown to learn is gratitude. A grateful mind is a magnet for miracles. I look back this year with so much gratitude. But, if I am going to be honest I would be extremely correct to say that I am BLESSED and FORTUNATE A dear friend of mine told me few weeks ago—“you really have God’s backing.” I totally agree with that because I am so sure that the Universe, Kwan Yin and my Angels have my back (that includes God too).

Happy Christmas to my dear readers and subscribers with a Super Prosperous New Year; I will see you all in 2024 luminously and in wellness.

Embrace the Energy of Abundance

Abundance is a VERY GOOD reality to live in. But for some reasons people have abundance blocks…our natural state is abundance; but due to some reasons we have barriers to abundance. Although there are people who have mastered the art of creating abundance and it is a skill worth having. From my own personal experience I have grown to learn that abundance is about Consciousness.

That is why I decided to share with you a topic about abundance gotten from Sarah Prout website. I am sure you will learn something from it.

The concept of “abundance” extends beyond material wealth to a holistic state of well-being. Embracing an abundance mindset can alter your life experience, shaping not just your circumstances, but also who you become.

Cornucopia: (Pixabay)

Caught in the scarcity trap, we tend to believe there’s not enough—be it money, opportunities, or love. This mindset generates stress and often results in fear-based decisions. An abundance mindset, however, transforms your perspective to see possibilities rather than limitations. Challenges become avenues for growth, rather than roadblocks.

Begin by practicing gratitude for what you already possess, no matter how insignificant it may appear. Gratitude paves the way for more to flow into your life. Shift from a competitive to a collaborative outlook. Life isn’t a zero-sum game; we can all win in the grand scheme.

To solidify this change, consider adding the affirmation “I AM THE ENERGY OF ABUNDANCE” in your Dear Universe journal.

Affirmations like this can serve as daily reminders that help align your mindset with a reality of abundance.

A Fall arrangement in a cornucopia on a white background (Pixabay)

Lastly, adopt a growth mindset. Believe that skills, intelligence, and circumstances can evolve over time with focused effort. The belief in abundance is self-perpetuating; the more you affirm it, the more you attract. Your mindset isn’t merely a viewpoint; it’s a catalyst that shapes your world.

Choose Abundance.

With Love & Gratitude,

Sarah Prout xo

My Online EBook Store

Ever since I traditionally published my children’s book Cindy and Her Beautiful Bird, I have really learnt a lot! In fact publishing Cindy and Her Beautiful Bird was an eye-opener for me on how the publishing industry works.

After all said and done, I decided to take the route of self-publishing. Guess what? I FEEL BETTER, happier, grateful and fulfilled to myself for making this decision. I am a wordsmith by my own right! At the moment I have four books on my ebook store and more are coming soon. What I am doing now is working on promoting my online ebook stores and books. It is a journey and a work in progress. I am doing it for me. I am thankful to the Universe and Kwan Yin because they are working out things well for me. I will NEVER trade self-publishing for Traditional Publishing unless on an exceptional and specific situation.

Below are my ebooks and the link to my online ebook stores. Trust me; these books are definitely worth your read! Check them out, leave reviews and share with your networks.

Thank you.

Mental Health Discussion: An Interview with Dorian S. Withrow Jr.

Today, I want to talk about Mental Health and I have with me an intelligent handsome young man who I am discussing this important issue with. Without further ado; let us begin the discussion

What is your name? And how old are you?

I am Dorian S. Withrow Jr. 23-year-old author

Dorian S. Withrow Jr.

What profession are you into?

Business and writing. I received my bachelor’s in science. I majored in (ABEC) Animal Behavior Ecology and Conservation with a minor Philosophy. Some of my favorite courses were to do with philosophy. Discussion is my favorite part of any class.

What is your thought on mental health?

Mental Health is often ignored and frowned upon by some people because of its association with having “problems”. We like to know we have some bumps and scars, but mental care is unnecessary. I find this to be untrue. Some people may not have the most positive and productive outlook on life and other people. Those are the bruises, scratches, and long-lasting wounds; They are harder to heal. Through internal troubles, the consequences of their approach to life, actions, and habits speak for themselves. We should treat our mental health like the things we hold most dear.

What are the ways you think depression, anxiety, sadness and grief can be overcome?

Three pieces of advice that can combat some of these issues are from my experience dealing with them. Number one, I like to engage in recreational activities. Activities I can get lost in, such as martial arts training, sports, and activities with family. The second tool I like to play is learning. I seek more information about the problems I’m experiencing. I believe the more I know, the better I can overcome those troubled states. Lastly, I apply coping mechanisms. I like writing poetry or stories, particularly about anything I have my mind on. There are more ways than just writing, like making art, music, dancing, exercise, and positive games. Here’s a bonus! I like to remind myself of my list of what it takes to make goals and vision boards. The list and vision board help me shift my focus away from what’s causing internal turmoil.

What do you see as the cause of depression, anxiety, sadness and Grief?

I think some causes (there are a ton) for those poor emotional states of being is death, financial health, and comparison. We live in a world where all of those things are inevitable. So it is relevant that we take steps to deal with the troubles internally and externally.

As a Black American, have you ever been faced with the issues racism? And how did you deal with it?

I have dealt with racism in some areas of schooling, traffic stops, and gatekeeping opportunities. Whether the work troubles, school issues, or community concerns, advocacy is needed. We can accomplish advocacy through small things like social media posts, word of mouth, community gatherings for discussions, and leading or joining advocacy groups. There is slightly more grand involvement regarding advocacy through campaigns, marches, boycotting, council meetings, and changing political policy. I think the first and most important learning.

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies include action and comedy movies. I love family time. It’s hard for me to say no to some recreational activities. I’ve taken a liking for reading unique literature in the philosophy arena. Martial arts is always one of my favorite pastimes

Dorian and his family

How do you describe your life orientation?

My life orientation is directed towards self-improvement and helping others by providing what I have gained.

Do you have influences or mentors?

I’ve learned to use the world as your mentor and guiding force. Let it be your educator

If you are given opportunity to explore the world, what countries would you love to travel to?

I take an interest in traveling to the African West Coast, Madagascar and some Pacific Islands.

Assuming you are put in a position of leadership, what are the world problems you will want to proffer solutions to?

I desire to help change the socioeconomic status of our people when I place myself in a leadership position.

Black Lives Matter: What has it Mattered?

Black Lives Matter Logo: Wikipedia

I have always been interested in the Black Lives Matter issues. This research paper is a fragment of my book I am writing about the Black Lives Matter.

The word Black Lives Matter has gained a global popularity. “Black Lives Matter (BLM) is a decentralized political and social movement that seeks to highlight racism, discrimination, and racial inequality experienced by black people. Its primary concerns are incidents of police brutality and racially motivated violence against black people. It started following the killings of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Rekia Boyd, among others. The movement and its related organizations typically advocate for various policy changes considered to be related to black liberation” (Wikipedia).

There have been many killings of Black Americans before now; but I think that of George Floyd went so viral that it sparked a global attention! When I heard the news of George Floyd death on radio and watched the video in 2020; I was traumatized for weeks. I was always pressing my neck with my hands and imagine the pain he went through when that White policeman sat on his neck. Floyd’s last words were: “I can’t breathe….mama…” During the protest of George Floyd death; I chatted with a Black American (Allen). He told me that they (the Black Americans) are like “abattoir” because they are killed any day and any time without anyone to defend them. He told me that one of his friends has moved out of USA to Botswana as he could not stand the maltreatment and killings of (Black Americans) because his life was not safe. Allen told me that he has been to Ghana and when he visited Ghana; he felt at home. The final thing Allen told me in 2020 in our chat was that he was considering moving to Ghana—that he was putting all his belongings together to return to Ghana.

George Floyd: Wikipedia

I could remember that evening my brother Bright and I were watching the news of George Floyd’s death on my laptop and we were shocked to the see the massive protests going on around USA. When my mom heard our screaming of the mammoth crowds of Black Americans who were protesting about the death of George Floyd; she came out of the kitchen and asked us what was going on. Then we told her it was the protest going on in USA about the death of George Floyd. Then she asked who George Floyd was and we told her. After watching the video, my mom asked us a question which I will never forget. “Is this protest going to stop the killing of Black Americans”? Sadly, even during the protest of George Floyd Black Americans were still killed!

During the protest of George Floyd I was on Facebook and I saw the post made by a Black American. In the post he was thanking God for being in America and thanking God for slavery. That if not he would have been in Africa suffering. After reading the post I scroll past it but my mind asked me to remind him of something. Then I commented on his post. “It does not matter if you speak in the accent of White Americans, eat like them, answers two English names, dress like them…the White policeman can pieces you with a bullet and nothing will happen. The White Americans still sees as you a Slave.” One Black American woman replied to my comment saying “Very well said. Please tell him more.” I watched a video on Instagram of a Black American woman by name Kim Daniels thanking God for slavery. In her words she said that if not for slavery she would have been in Africa “worshipping trees.” This is to show you the level of brainwashing, inferiority complex and enslaved mentality that has eaten VERY deep into the mind of Black Americans.

Black Lives Matter Protesters: Google images

My Great-Grandmother was sold out to a European slave master at the age of seven; but something happened…and the European slave master asked that she be returned to her parents (I will spare you the details). Her father (my maternal great-grandfather) told her what happened and she told my grandmother, my grandmother told my mother and I am working on the story to make it a documentary for film. You will know everything about it when I finish writing the story.

There is something the Black Americans fail to understand and refuse to acknowledge. The truth is the White Americans sees you (Black Americans) as SLAVES; it does not matter how learned you are, what your status is. Your forefathers were brought from Africa as Slaves through the ship. So it does not matter if you answering two English names. Those two English names you are answering are slave names. It is so disappointing to see that Black Americans feel “superior” to Africa just because they are in America answering two English names and speaking in the accent of White Americans. But has that helped to change their narratives? No. In the words Chante Moore, she said: “I see you in a different way. Through a different eye.” And it is the truth; the White Americans sees the Black Americans (of Slave descent) in a different way.

If I have my way to the White House, I will urge Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to SHUTDOWN the movement of Black Lives Matter movement. What has the Black Lives Matter movement achieved? What has the Black Lives Matter mattered? Has all the protests of Black Lives Matter stopped the killing and maltreatment of Black Americans? Many events have shown that the Black Lives Matter has not achieved anything. Years ago I read on social media where someone said that the Black Lives Matter is a scam and that the officials in the helm of affairs of Black Lives Matter channel their funds into their pocket for their personal gains.

What Cynthia Morgan Said About the Black Lives Matter

Cynthia Morgan: Google Images

It all goes back to when it all started. White people bought slaves from who? BLACK people, and who are these slaves? Black people. We sold ourselves out and lost our respect the day this trade took place.

A White man cannot have respect for a race that sold their own race to other race not for marriage or better life but for slavery. White people being smart enough then they thought superior and gained it. Have you ever thought it could have been the other way round? Like the Whites could have been in this position right now? But one race was just smarter at that point in time. Now our forefathers already made that mistake. Can we correct it? Yes. How? By gaining our respect and equality and its not by fighting these White people, its about knowing ourselves and finding our respect and in doing so, regrets and blames won’t help us. Now we have to stand up and earn our respects back, and it’s not by crying on social media and begging for equality like spoilt babies.

  1. Y’all need a Black Nation.
  2. Invest more on Black people and Black ideas.
  3. Let every Black life count to you as a Black person first before you preach it to other people.

White people have every right to be proud and do whatever pleases them. Its only natural, that’s how people act when they see all your comfort and life depends on them. What we are fighting is more than just color thing. It’s more of mentality problems and it’s a way of the devil putting separation and chaos in the world so we all won’t come together and be in peace.

Now, one would correctly describe Cynthia Morgan as a Prophetess….she also said something to say about the current Nigerian President; a statement that is SO profound and thought-provoking!

Black Americans are still seen as SLAVES till today. In Florida for example, Governor Ron DeSantis has mandated that “New Florida standards teach students that Black people benefited from slavery because it taught useful skills.”

Governor Ron DeSantis (Photo by Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images)

‘Slave for Sale’

In Illinois, a White high school student labeled his Black friend as a slave. He snapped his Black friend and posted him on Craiglist as ‘Slave for Sale.’ The ad showed the Black student in what appeared to be a cafeteria under the words “Slave for sale (Naperville)” with the caption “Hardworking thick n—er slave. For da low.” It later went viral. Classmates approached the Black student offering a dollar to buy him. “I’ll buy you for a dollar,” said one student.

Teacher Resigns After Telling Black Students They Would Have Been Her ‘Field Slaves‘ if it wasn’t for the Constitution, they would be her slaves.

You will agree with me that in that classroom, there were other students from other races. Also, that White teenage boy has other friends from other races. The question now is: why did the teacher not make this statement to the Arabic-Americans, Indian-Americans, Filipino-Americans, Chinese-American, Korean-American, Jewish-American, Japanese-American? And why did that White teenage boy not label his friends who are Arabic-Americans, Indian-Americans, Filipino-Americans, Chinese-American, Korean-American, Jewish-American, Japanese-American as slaves? Because the Asians KNOW their roots; the Asians did not come as Slaves to America they came as immigrants for a better life just the way the Whites came from Europe.

Now, one thing I LOVE about the Asians is how they are united among themselves, love themselves, their culture and maintain their cultural heritage. Something that is VERY hard to find among Black Americans/Africans. The average Asian-American is well connected to Asia. For example when you hear the name “Robert Kiyosaki,” “Dennis Liu” “Vera Wang,” “Priscilla Chan” etc it gives you a clue that these are Asians and also shows that they know where they are coming from. Unlike the Black Americans who answers two (Slave English Names), does not know their root and are very disconnected from their roots (sad and shameful).

The bitter truth is that Black Americans cannot win against White Supremacy because for every administration that comes in; they join ALL forces to make sure to keep you Black Americans on their knees because you are slave descendants so you are still a slave in their eyes. For example, when George Floyd was killed Donald Trump did not come out to address the Black people; it was Barak Obama that came out to address the Black Americans. That act alone speaks volumes: it means you are not American enough. For example, when a Black American traveled to Spain she was asked what part of Africa she was from and then she said that she is American. The Spanish person told her right back that she was not American enough.

Or is it the White student who always taunts his Black teacher by keeping a banana peel on the doorway of his teacher? You know the animal whose favorite fruit is banana.

Is there a Way Out for Black Americans?

With all these atrocities and injustices going on against Black Americans; is there any solution? Yes there is. The only way the Black Americans can regain their freedom, destiny and future is to come back to Africa. Until the Black Americans come back to Africa there is no hope for them because your lives do not matter in America. If you go to Melaninepeople HQ on Instagram; you will see on their page the video of a Black American people who were manhandle, handcuffed and harassed by the White Policemen. Something very terrible! An act of slavery, disgrace and humiliation. In the video, the Black American woman was recording her husband been handcuffed by the White policemen. The White policeman came to her and pushed her down forcefully and handcuffed her too.

In Kansas City, a Black American man Jon “Mike” Rone Jr. was stabbed to death by a White man whom he was engaged in an altercation. The police arrested the White man who killed the Black man on the reason that he (the White man) was disturbing the peace of the environment. Not that he killed a person. That clearly shows that as a Black American you DO NOT MATTER. It does not matter how you chant the Black Lives Matter. What has it mattered?

The last time I checked the Black Americans people have Black people in government. But have these Black Americans been able to protect the rights and lives of Black Americans? NO. This Africa you are shying away from and pretending to be “superior” to because you are answering two (English Slave Names) and speaking in the accent White—that is WHERE your healing and freedom lies. Your Mother (Ghana) has opened her arms to welcome you back to Africa. It is left for you to return or not. You will find succor and refuge in African countries if you choose to return home (e.g. Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana etc).

Ghana to Black Americans: Come home. We’ll help you build a Life here

Although some Black Americans are willing to heed this call from their Mother (Ghana) to come back Home; for example Kimberly Reese has never visited Ghana, but she is already designing her dream home there. The Ohio mother of five says she doesn’t feel safe in the United States. “Some of us are tired.” “Some of us just want to be in an environment where we don’t have to look over our shoulders. Where we don’t have to worry about our sons getting pulled over.” Reese said.

Only few Black Americans are heeding the call of their Mother (Ghana) to come back Home. For example, one Black American has returned home. Hear her words: “I had this strong urge to come to Africa. I wanted to experience it. Something has been tugging at my heart to come and visit the Motherland,” she told DW. Saafir-Ankomah said she was inspired by a couple from Tennessee who had visited Ghana several times. “They [the couple] would talk about it all the time; show me pictures, videos and things like that, which stirred up a desire in me even more to come.”

Saafir-Ankomah finally made it to Africa for the first time in 2010, and Ghana in West Africa was her destination. She quickly fell in love with the continent. The trained lawyer now lives in the capital, Accra, and married a Ghanaian. “I love it here, I would much rather be here (Ghana) than in the [United] States for sure,” she said. Saafir-Ankomah has since become an ambassador urging many Africans in the Diaspora to visit Africa to experience the rich heritage. Jam Aiwuyor in her article maintained that Black Americans NEED Pan-Africanism.

THIS Pan-Africanism (to Black Americans); MEANS returning back to their Home (Africa) from whence they came.

Funny Dialog between You and God

Hey God: Google Images

I have been following Galexis for some years now and I really enjoy their teachings. Galexis are a Non Physical Entity group of Stars channeled by Ginger. As a subscriber to the Galexis newsletter; I opened my email few days and I saw this post from Ginger and Daniel so I thought I would share with you. I hope you enjoy it; it is really hilarious but meaningful and inspiring! A very funny dialogue between you and God.

Funny Dialog between You and God

Here’s a humorous way to give you a profound and useful message as you are leaping into a new space, a Self that is more.  And it’s key to your spiritual path!  I suggest that we all have more dialogues with God like this!

We are Becoming; A great message for now and the future

Taken from a Facebook post and attributed to John Roedel

Me: Hey God.

God: Hello

Me: I’m falling apart. Can you put me back together?

God: I would rather not.

Me: Why?

God: Because you aren’t a puzzle.

Me: What about all of the pieces of my life that are falling down onto the ground?

God: Let them stay there for a while. They fell off for a reason. Take some time and decide if you need any of those pieces back.

Me: You don’t understand!

I’m breaking down!

God: No – you don’t understand. You are breaking through. What you are feeling are just growing pains. You are shedding the things and the people in your life that are holding you back. You aren’t falling apart. You are falling into place.

Relax. Take some deep breaths and allow those things you don’t need any more to fall off of you. Quit holding onto the pieces that don’t fit you anymore. Let them fall off. Let them go.

Me: Once I start doing that, what will be left of me?

God: Only the very best pieces of you.

Me: I’m scared of changing.

God: I keep telling you – YOU AREN’T CHANGING!! YOU ARE BECOMING!

Me: Becoming who?

God: Becoming who I created you to be! A person of light and love and charity and hope and courage and joy and mercy and grace and compassion. I made you for more than the shallow pieces you have decided to adorn yourself with that you cling to with such greed and fear. Let those things fall off of you.

I love you! Don’t change! … Become! Become! Become who I made you to be.

I’m going to keep telling you this until you remember it.

Me: There goes another piece.

God: Yep. Let it be.

Me: So … I’m not broken?

God: Of course Not! – but you are breaking like the dawn. It’s a new day. Become!!!

Welcome to ABUJA—the HEART of Nigeria!!

Abuja City Gate: Wikipedia

Abuja is the capital city of Nigeria. It is the capital and eighth most populous city of Nigeria. Situated at the centre of the country within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Central Bank of Nigeria is located in Abuja.

Central Bank of Nigeria

I have been hearing about Lagos…but to be honest, Lagos has been overrated…the noise, overpopulation, pollution and other things. Abuja is serene and organized. At least in Abuja drivers will slow down for you to cross or signal you with their hands to cross. The zebra sign is respected in Abuja road networks. Where do you get that kind of pampering in Lagos—where everyone is always in a rush and hurry; with the endless go-slow. Hmmm…I wonder if I can actually stay in Lagos because that rush-rush helter-skelter lifestyle is never harmonious with me. That is not to say that I am not energetic. I am; but the ideal life is not the one you live under tension, rushing and hurrying. It was reported some time ago in Lagos how a man using the zebra crossing was almost crushed by a car!

Millennium Park: Abuja

Abuja is actually a beautiful place to be; another thing that makes me love Abuja is the breathtaking rocks, hills and mountains that grace it—adding beauty and magic to it. Beholding these mountains, rocks and hills could not have been more refreshing! Suffice to say that it is uplifting and quite refreshing! Personally, I love nature and I love spending time in nature too. Seeing these beautiful beings and wonders of creations also serve as a reason to think about life, appreciate life and the Grand Designer.

Jabi Lake, Abuja

I have been to this Millennium Park in an event with my comrades.

Me and my Comrade at the Millennium Park, Abuja

One lovely sunny morning, I went for a shopping in a supermarket. Serengeti Shall Not Die!

For many years back, I have been hearing about Serengeti. I only knew it was a National Park in Tanzania; but did not know much about it. It was not until recently that I read more about the Serengeti and guess what? I could not help but add it to my list of favorite travel destinations as I am an intrepid adventurer. In fact, the story surrounding Serengeti is truly heartwarming and epic. The question one would want to ask is: where did the word “Serengeti shall not die originate from”? Find out below:

Serengeti shall not die” is a statement that reflects the importance of preserving the Serengeti ecosystem, which is a vast plain in East Africa spanning across Tanzania and Kenya. The Serengeti ecosystem is home to a diverse range of wildlife species, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many more.

The statement “Serengeti shall not die” was made famous by the German documentary film of the same name, which was released in 1959. The film was directed by Bernhard Grzimek and his son Michael and documented their efforts to save the Serengeti from destruction.

Since then, the Serengeti ecosystem has faced several threats, including habitat loss, poaching, and climate change. However, concerted efforts by conservationists, governments, and local communities have helped to protect the ecosystem and its wildlife.

Today, the Serengeti National Park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Africa and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It continues to inspire people around the world to work towards preserving the natural world and its many wonders.

Now, having read about the Serengeti National Park I have completely agreed with Grzimek: “Serengeti shall not die!”

The Lotus Flower Remains my Favorite Flower!

Magic Lotus flower

The lotus is born under the mud, growing through the water to achieve the surface, and therefore the air and the light of sun. This growth is identified with man’s life, born in earth but desiring the elevation to the air; representing his middle stage between animals and the ultimate reality. The seeds of lotus contain (even before they germinate) perfectly formed leaves, a miniature shape of what they would become. This flower is often present in Eastern Religions/Spirituality, which influence is key in the Theosophical Movement.

Lotus (Gr.). A most occult plant, sacred in Egypt, India and elsewhere; called “the child of the Universe bearing the likeness of its mother in its bosom”. There was a time “when the world was a golden lotus” (padma) says the allegory. A great variety of these plants, from the majestic Indian lotus, down to the marsh-lotus (bird’s foot trefoil) and the Grecian “Dioscoridis”, is eaten at Crete and other islands. It is a species of nymphala, first introduced from India to Egypt to which it was-not indigenous. See the text of Archaic Symbolism in the Appendix Viii. “The Lotus, as a Universal Symbol” (Wikipedia)

The Secret Meaning of the Lotus Flower

Lotus Flower: Pexel Photos

Nothing is more spiritual than the lotus—it experiences Immaculate Conception every single day.

At first glance, one might not think much of the lotus flower. The plant’s symmetry and colors are striking, sure, but beneath the lotus’s delicate exterior lies a deeper meaning nearly as old as time. The flower holds great symbolic weight in many Eastern cultures and is considered one of the most sacred plants in the world. So, what is it about this specific bloom that makes it oh so special?

To start, the lotus has a life cycle unlike any other plant. With its roots latched in mud, it submerges every night into river water and miraculously re-blooms the next morning, sparklingly clean. In many cultures, this process associates the flower with rebirth and spiritual enlightenment. With its daily process of life, death, and reemergence, its no wonder that the lotus holds such symbolism.

Because of these meanings, the lotus is often seen alongside divine figures in some cultures. For the Egyptians, the flower represents the universe. In Hindu culture, it is said that gods and goddesses sat on lotus thrones. And a longstanding Buddhist story states that the Buddha appeared atop a floating lotus, and his first footsteps on Earth left lotus blossoms.

As divine as the Gods, the flower of rebirth was thought to contain magical properties as well. The ancient Egyptians believed lotuses had the ability to resurrect the deceased, as seen in Book of the Dead transformation spells.

Each flower color also has its own symbolism. For Buddhist practitioners, a white lotus symbolizes purity, whereas a yellow lotus is associated with spiritual ascension. However, the real question remains: how has the flower acquired such all-encompassing spiritual significance?

The lotus flower’s daily resurrection is certainly interesting, and surely symbolic of revival. (This makes it the perfect gift for anyone recovering from injury or a traumatic experience.) But the flower also has a fascinating will to live. A lotus seed can withstand thousands of years without water, able to germinate over two centuries later.

The flower also blooms in the most unlikely of places such as the mud of murky river water in Australia or Southern Asia. Not only does it find sanctuary in the muck, but due to the waxy protection layer on its petals, its beauty is blithely unaffected when it re-blooms each morning. It continues to resurrect itself, coming back just as beautiful as it was last seen. With such refusal to accept defeat, it’s almost impossible not to associate this flower with unwavering faith. Although cultures have largely dubbed the lotus as a spiritual figurehead, it is most emblematic of the faith within ourselves. It is particularly what the Buddhist proverb, aims to edify; living life with unwavering faith, as the lotus does, ensures the most beautiful revivals. (Katie Robbins of Town and Country).

Why I Don’t Care Much About Valentine’s Day-Moxie’s Diary

Today is Valentine’s Day and I wanted to share this with you. Honestly, I am surprised to read that a woman in this our modern generation. A generation that has been blown away by social media, fashion and whatever you can call it still have some people who are distinct! In fact, I should not have to waste any further time. Read for yourself to find out a different view and opinion of Moxie from her won diary (Moxie’s Diary).

Yesterday, my man knowing how much I like important dates, asked me, “babe, is Valentine’s Day very important to you?”, I said not really because I feel like people make a huge fuss about it; but I may appreciate a gift, and get you one too.

Thinking about it, why do we have to pick one day just to celebrate our lover. Is it like we don’t get them gifts every other day?

I mean that has always been my opinion about Val’s day since I “grew up”!

I take celebration of anniversaries more important than Val’s day.

And the competition of whose partner did the most — and some who go as far as lying that they were gifted when they weren’t. Why the pressure?

Photo: Google Images/Moxie’s Diary

It’s been so many stories about the origin of Valentine’s Day; but the most popular, is that it originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine and, through later folk traditions, has become a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and love in many regions of the world, according to Wikipedia.

The major reason I stopped caring about Valentine’s Day is because of how people started judging the love their partner has for them on that day! It’s just so many expectations; and people get pressured from what others display online, and feel left out!

Valentine Picture: Google Images

If all you get on Valentine’s Day is a love note written from the heart, it’s enough! There’s no rule that says your partner has to go out of their way to impress you so that you can post on social media!

I’m not sure I’ll take my man seriously if he only gifts me on Valentine’s Day! This is not to discourage anyone planning to get gifts for their partners — please go on! My point is, as tomorrow comes, express love the best way you can but do not pressure nor force anyone into doing what they don’t want to do. That’s not love!

People on social media don’t care! They’ll go about their business the next day, and forget about you, or what was given to you, or the gifts you faked, and posted!

While we show love to our partners, let’s also show love to everyone else who can’t afford anything, and our families who are struggling — because charity begins at home!

Happy Valentine’s Day, guys

Welcome to ABUJA—the HEART of Nigeria!!

If I have to do it again, I will still choose Abuja.

Christmas in Abuja

Abuja: google Images
Father Christmas Google Images

I woke up at 12:07am and I checked my calendar it was 25th December; Christmas Day! In that very early hour of the morning, everywhere was bubbling with music and noises. I was still on my bed and I could hear all those noises from far and near. My neighbours were already awake preparing meal for the Christmas day.

Christmas is celebrated all over the world. If you ask me, I will tell you that Christmas has been overrated! Many people still have the absurd belief that Christmas is a time to show love. That does not make sense at all! The other majority are of the opinion that Christmas is the celebration of Jesus Christ. What I think about Christmas is, instead of waiting till the end of the year to start remembering the birth of Jesus, why not you let your life reflect the qualities of Jesus Christ everyday of your life? There are people who only give on Christmas day. After Christmas they do not care about giving and sharing.

Picture: WhatsApp images

My Christmas day in Abuja was a very busy one! Lol…it was just as normal as every other day of my life. I went to an event in the morning and came back in the afternoon tired. As soon as I got home in the afternoon I slept off and woke by 5pm. It was actually a cool beautiful and peaceful day for me. If people can put this same zeal they put in Christmas period to live with one another and achieve their dreams I believe the world will be a better place and humanity will find peace.

I wish everyone a very merry abundant Christmas and super prosperous New Year!

Wise Living

Confucius quote/image: Facebook

There is a statement Jesus Christ made in the Bible—and he said “Be gentle as a dove but be wise a serpent.” It is not enough to be alive in my own opinion though. Living well is the best way to live. There are many people who are out there but their life is not something worthy of emulation…hence the title of this post.

What is wise living? What does the word wise itself mean? Well, I do not want to go into describing and explaining what the word wise means. Everyone knows what it means to be wise. The three men that visited baby Jesus in the manger were referred to as the Wisemen; for me I think they are described as Wisemen because they knew what to do at the right time and given their awakened personality and higher consciousness they have.

Source: Facebook

The only little explanation I will give about being wise is, knowing who you are as a Divine Being with Divine Rights. Once you are aware of your Divineness and connection with the Universe/God/Angels/Cosmic Forces then you will begin to live wisely. That is wise living. Living wisely is living life authentically as child of God. When you hear the word child of God please understand that it is NOT about going to church—being a child of God means living a life of dominion, abundance, victory, wisdom, light, love, selflessness, altruism and compassion.

One who is living wisely does not follow the noise of this 3D (three dimensional reality). A person who is living wisely does not put their trust in the government. Living wisely is living in constant divinity and higher consciousness—which also includes forming a deep personal connection with God and the Angels; as the magical Debbianne DeRose rightly said “get into cahoots with your higher self.”

Source: Facebook

Another aspect of living wisely is living an egoless life. I totally understand the fact everyone has the ego in them including me and the ego cannot be killed. Even if the ego cannot be killed we can at least put it in the rear, paralyze it and dethrone it because when you are living from the ego you will never win! Unfortunately, many people are living from their ego and it is certainly not a wise living.

One can begin the process of wise living by:

Being mindful of the friends you keep. Love yourself enough to avoid hypocritical, jealous, egocentric friends/people. Although you cannot avoid these kind of people completely because they are there in your workplace, family, school, neighbourhoods and wherever human beings are found. But you can build up energetic boundaries between you and them so that you cannot absorb their negative energy; instead you just observe it!

Gratitude. A grateful mind is a magnet for miracles. No matter what someone does for you; be humble and wise enough to say thank you. Even if your situation does not seem as rosy as you desired it to be, still give gratitude to God for the unseen miracles running towards you.

Spend time in nature. I am a person who loves spending time in nature as it is a very ample way of raising our vibration and keeping ourselves in a positive momentum. You can have a quality time in the beach, wood, forest, river, garden, mountains, rocks, etc

Source: Facebook

Eating wisely. You are what you eat; foods have vibrations of their own and they have their own consciousness they carry. For optimal health and wellbeing; it is good for you to eat organic food

Exercise. It is not every time you drive or be in the park. Sometimes you can decide to take a walk as a way of breathing in the fresh air of nature. Depending on your financial capacity you can decide to enroll in a gym to keep fit as it enhances personal development and wellness too.

Read Inspiring Books and Success Stories. There are many books with life hacks that will teach you Universal Laws and how to create your own reality. “It behooves you to learn, relearn and unlearn. Remember, a mind that is stretched by new knowledge can never go back to its prior form.”

Constant Divinity. Always remember that you are a magical divine being with divine rights to command the cosmic forces to do your bidding. Arm yourself with the knowledge of being a divine being and seek to live from a higher consciousness.

Here is what Abby Wynne has to say “the quality of your life is what you experience through the choices you make and the consequences of those choicesYou are the only one who can change the quality of your life.”

A Poem

When I read this poem on my friend’s page on Facebook it touched and inspired me hence I decided to share with you. Hope you enjoy it (Merry Christmas and a Super Prosperous New Year!)

Patience visited me

And it reminded me

That good things take time to come to fruition

And grow slowly with stability

Peace visited me

And it reminded me

That I may remain calm through the storms of life

Regardless of the chaos surrounding me

Hope visited me

And it reminded me

That better times lay ahead

And it would always be there to guide and uplift me

Humility visited me

And it reminded me

That I may achieve it

Not by trying to shrink myself and make myself less

But by focusing on serving the world and uplifting those around me

Kindness visited me

And it reminded me

To be more gentle, forgiving and compassionate toward myself

And those surrounding me

Confidence visited me

And it reminded me

To not conceal or suppress my gifts and talents

In order to make others feel more comfortable

But to embrace what makes me me

Focus visited me

And it reminded me

That other people’s insecurities and judgements about me

Are not my problem

And I should redirect my attention

From others back to me

Freedom visited me

And it reminded me

That no one has control over my mindset, thoughts and wellbeing

But me

And love visited me

And it reminded me

That I need not search for it in others

As it lies within me.

I Am an African of a Different Breed

One thing I have noticed about Africans is that altruism is VERY RARE among Africans. Altruism is a culture that has not been well embraced Africans. Africans do not help each other; instead they will seek to bring you down. That is the mentality and character of many Africans. I am an African man; but I am an African of a different breed (I do not say this out of ego or self-aggrandizement; it is just the fact).

Someone was telling me few days ago that I am an African in skin colour but my consciousness, energy and life orientation are not African. That is how I want it to be!

I am the African of a different breed

I am the African who is compassionate.

I am the African who believe in altruism, higher consciousness, living in Constant Divinity and Spirituality.

I am the African who is not brainwashed

I am the African who is not gullible, narrow-minded

I am the African who takes responsibility than blaming Europe and USA for the troubles of Africa

I am the African that is Luminous and all-encompassing

I am the African who believes in equity, justice, fairness, truth and love. Love for humanity

I am the African who does not segregate people based on their skin colour or sexual orientation

I am the African who does not have religious mentality or possessed by religious spirit. I believe in worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth

I am the African who does not parade Jesus. Jesus. Jesus—rather I follow the teachings and instructions of Jesus Christ in an unconventional way

I am the African who is well connected with the Universe, Kwan Yin, Buddha, Krishna, the Sages and Ascended Masters, Cosmic Forces, Almighty I Am, Jesus Christ, Holy Mother Mary, Ganesha, Celestial Beings, Angels, Spirit Guides of Light and Love, my Fairy-Elfin-Friends, Lazaris, Galexis, Gnomes, Sylphs, Undines, Salamanders

I am the African who does not grovel

I am the African that is sovereign: free from all forms colonialism…neo and such…

I am the African who does not have an enslaved mentality

I am the African who is determined and passionate to and standing out from other Africans…

I am the African who does not follow the lower consciousness existing in Africa

I am the African who is not limited to Africa

I am the African who is fearless, quirky, maverick and positively rebellious

I am the African who knows who I am as a Conscious Divine Being

I am the African who follows New Thought and a Lover of Spirituality

I am the African who is embodying the energy of the Lotus Flower!

This is A TRUE STORY!

When I read this story, I was touched. At first when I saw this story on Facebook I thought it was one of those usual stories; curious led me to read through and I did. There is a BIG lesson in this story and I want you to read it. I really enjoyed it. Life has a way favoring us even in our darkest moments and lowest of lows!!

A girl was living with her uncle because her parents died of HIV. She was the only child from her mother’s womb. She was educated by her uncle from nursery to class 4 and when the girl was in class 4, the uncle saw that the girl was beautiful.

One night, he went to the girl’s room and told the girl that if she doesn’t play sex with him, he will chase her from his place and stop paying her school fees. The girl tried to cry to her uncle but he refused to understand. The girl accepted to leave her uncle’s place and went to the streets suffering, all the time crying, being hungry, being lonely and the last OPTION she had was to go down on her knees and pray to GOD till GOD answered her prayers.

A woman came driving and saw the girl praying. She stopped and asked the girl to enter into the car. She took the girl and took her back to school, bought everything for her like her daughter. The girl completed education and as we talk right now, she has completed University and working at WORLD BANK.

Even you, GOD can answer your prayers.

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala IS NOT A Great Woman!

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala: Google Images

The name Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is a Global Name! And that is something that ought to be laudable. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is the Director-General of World Trade Organization. This is such a lofty height! But there is something missing somewhere….if you read through the Wikipedia page of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala; you will notice that she does not have anything that describes her as Altruistic and that is something that is missing in her portfolio and personality.

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is from my state (Delta State). She is from Ogwashi-Uku in Delta State. Now, one would expect that a global personality in the caliber of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala would transform her hometown into a tourist attraction or at least to a very civilized place. But the reverse is the case because there is no meaningful development in Ngozi Okonjo Iweala hometown of Ogwashi-Uku. Ogwashi-Uku is just a village—the only thing that makes it known is the polytechnic nothing more. Is it not a shameful and disappointing that Ogwashi-Uku is able to produce a global personality in the person of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala; yet she could not bring development to her hometown! This speaks volumes about her. The only thing Ngozi Okonjo Iweala has accomplished so far is wearing African fabrics. I am not in any way judging Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. But even if you want to call it judgment; are we not supposed to judge a person by results? I want you to digest the words by a Martian communicator, Mars Sector 6, in 1956.

“Judge a Man by Results.” —Mars Sector 6

“Judge a man by his detachment.

“Judge a man by his love for all.

“Judge a man by his acceptance and knowledge of Oneness.

“Judge a man by his wisdom.

“Judge a man by his Cosmic logic.

“Judge a man by his sacrifice—not for himself, not for his wife, not for his family—but for the whole world, YOUR world.”

“These are the ways to judge. Judge well, ye men of Terra, and when ye find one who passes the test of your judgment, then follow such a one even to your death.” George King (Contact with Gods from Space)

I Love the Laughing Buddha (smiles)

It is a well-known fact that laughter is therapeutic and as well contagious too! I have always thought about the Laughing Buddha and I have always loved his pictures too. After seeing the picture of the Laughing Buddha inside a Lotus Flower—shirtless I was full of wonders!! And guess what? The smile/laughter of the Laughing Buddha really made me smile/laugh! Suffice that it lifted my vibration. I kept smiling thinking about the Laughing Buddha and I began to love and admire the Laughing Buddha! Lol…so I decided to make a research about the Laughing Buddha and I found some lovely information about this amazing and Laughing Buddha which I will share with you; but before I will go ahead and share these information with you, here is what happened as I was researching about the Laughing Buddha:

While I was reading about the Laughing Buddha; I saw a line where he was described as “poor…” in my mind I said with levity and intuitively “this is not true because the Laughing Buddha represents opulence after all he does not look poor. He must have been camouflaging simplicity and low-key…” to my greatest surprise I read the next line describing the Laughing Buddha as symbolizing abundance and contentment; something I have firsthand intuitively realized!

So without further ado, here are the information about the Laughing Buddha I hope the Laughing Buddha causes you to smile!

Laughing Buddha statues are perhaps one of the most loved artefacts. They are commonly seen in homes, offices, hotels, gardens, restaurants, shops, and museums and temples. They are made of wood, metal, porcelain, and stone or painted in colour and line.

The Laughing Buddha is a symbol of happiness, contentment and prosperity. He is called ‘Budai’ in Chinese. Figures of the Laughing Buddha at the Salar Jung Museum are popular with the visitors.

According to Chinese tradition, ‘Budai’ was an eccentric Chinese Zen monk who lived during the later Liang dynasty (907-923 AD) of China. He was a native of Fenghua and his Buddhist name was Qieci (Chinese : Pinyin). He was considered a man of good and loving character. Some Buddhist traditions consider him a Buddha or ‘Bodhisattva’, usually Maitreya (the future Buddha). His large protruding stomach and jolly smile have given him the common designation “Laughing Buddha”.

In Japanese, ‘Budai’ is pronounced as ‘Hotei’. It means ‘clothsack’ or ‘glutton’. It is believed that if one rubs the belly of Buddha, it brings good luck and wealth. The Laughing Buddha is also seen as one of the seven Japanese Shinto Gods of luck.

In Thailand, ‘Budai’ is sometimes confused with a widely-respected monk, ‘Sangkachai’. ‘Sangkachai’ was a Budhist ‘Arhat’ (Arahant in ‘Pali’) during the time of Lord Buddha. Lord Buddha praised Angkachai for his excellence in explaining Dharma easily and correctly.

He was one of the Eighteen ‘Arhats’ of Buddhism.

However, two points distinguish ‘Sangkachai’ from ‘Budai’.

While Sangkachai has a trace of hair on his head, ‘Budai’ is clearly bald. And while ‘Budai’ covers both arms and leaves the torso uncovered, Sangkachai wears robes folded across one shoulder.

Chinese temples have figures of the Laughing Buddha located at temple entrances. He is often worshipped as a God of good luck and prosperity.

The Lingyin temple in Hangchou has a Laughing Buddha carved out of camphor wood, over 60-feet tall and gilded with one hundred ounces of gold leaf. The Lama temple in Beijing has the largest Laughing Buddha, which is carved from a single piece of wood.

Taiwan’s Treasure Cognition temple at Taichung houses the country’s largest Laughing Buddha, with his bald head touching the ceiling.

Called ‘Fat Buddha’ in English-speaking countries, ‘Hasne Buddha’ in Nepalese, the Laughing Buddha is all about blurring the cultural divide between West and East as he brings good luck to all.

An account exists of the post mortem appearances of Budai, the Laughing Buddha, recorded in the Ching-te ch’uan-teng-lu (The Transmission of the Lamp), written between 1004 and 1007 CE by the monk Shi Daoyuan.

“In the third month of the third year of Cheng Ming (917 AD), the Master proclaimed his approaching parinirvana. At the Yueh-lin Temple, he took up his seat, cross legged, on a flat stone below the Eastern veranda, and spoke the following verse:

“Maitreya, the Veritable Maitreya, divides his body into ten thousand million parts. From time to time, appearing among men, he proclaims the Truth to the men of that era, but they naturally do not recognise him.”

Budai has origins centered around cult worship and local legend.[6] He is traditionally depicted as a fat, bald monk wearing a simple robe. He carries his few possessions in a cloth sack, being poor but content.[7] He would excitingly entertain the adoring children that followed him and was known for patting his large belly happily. His figure appears throughout Chinese culture as a representation of both contentment and abundance. Budai attracted the townspeople around him as he was able to predict people’s fortunes and even weather patterns.[5] The wandering monk was often inclined to sleep anywhere he came to, even outside, for his mystical powers could ward off the bitter colds of snow and his body was left unaffected. A recovered death note dated to 916 or 917 A.D., which the monk himself wrote, claims that he is an incarnation of Maitreya, the Buddha of the Future.

When he had finished reciting this verse, he quietly died. Afterwards, there were men in his neighbourhood who saw the Master, carrying his bag as before and walking. Because of this, the monks vied with one another in painting his likeness. Now in the Yueh-lin Temple, in the Eastern part of the Great Hall, is preserved his body (embalmed), and people in many places speak of his re-apparition as a proven fact.”

“Plus 1” Syndrome: does it have a hold on you?

People celebrate birthday everyday because every day is someone’s birthday elsewhere. There are lots of birthday songs out there to complement this thing called birth-day. What is birthday? It is that simple: the day you were born. Why do people celebrate their birthdays? Haha!! To mark the day they were born into this Plane of Existence called Earth!

Birthday Pic: Google Images.

Countries, organizations and other institutions celebrate their birthday (also known as Independence Day celebrations). I am from Nigeria and the Nigeria’s independence (assuming Nigeria is truly independent) is celebrated every October 1st because Nigeria got a so-called independence from Britain in October 1st 1960.

In Christianity, Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ on the 25th December of every year which is called Christmas; other religions have their own days where they celebrate the birth of whatever Deities they believe in as well.

I am the curator lol! So I still have my pictures of my birthday when I was a child. You know the childhood birthday pictures you snap back in the days….it is always full of memories, love and innocence! As I have grown older; I have not paid much attention to celebrating my birthday as I don’t see it as something that has a top priority in my life. Although when I was a Jehovah’s Witness celebrating birthday was demonized. I am a Virgo and September is my birthday (September 22 to be precise). But my attention is not even focused on celebrating my birthday; I think it does not matter to me whether I celebrate my birthday or not. I am not attached to celebrating my birthday (side note: not because a teaching from my former religion Jehovah’s Witness).

Before now, I mean many years back—when people were celebrating their birthdays I used to hear them say out their actual age with joy and proud. But for a reason I am yet to fathom the narrative has changed!! Nowadays, when people are celebrating their birthdays what you hear is “I am +1 today…” I think that is MADNESS! Why do you think someone who is celebrating his or her birthday should hide his age or her age? Is there any crime in saying out your age?

Apart from this trend that has taken up birthday celebration; people seem to be very attached to celebrating birthdays. I am not against it but the way people go about it most times is quite alarming and can be a cause of raising eyebrow…my opinion is everything should be done in moderation and decently.

What is your take on people hiding their age during their birthday celebration? Are there any cultural beliefs, stereotype or spiritual meaning attached to people not wanting to say out their age during their birthday celebrations? Do you think the word “+1” is the right thing to say during someone’s birthday celebration? What would happen or what is the worst that could happen if someone says out his or her actual age during their birthday celebration? Is it that people are ashamed to say out their actual age during birthday celebrations? Are you among those categories of people who have been adopted the term “+1”? If yes, why did you start using +1 during your birthday celebrations?

To everyone who is celebrating their birthday I wish you an abundant and superb birthday. Wishing you an aging with Grace and Glory!

GHADA GAD STOLE MY POEMS!!!

Egypt has been a country I value and honour since my childhood. According to history; civilization started from Egypt and Egypt has one of the Seven Wonders of the World! I have always been fascinated by Egyptian history, culture, people and mythologies. When I was in high school I would sit in the library for hours exploring Egyptian mythologies. As one who loves voyaging Egypt is among my favorite tourist destination—but because of what I have experienced from an Egyptian; I would now say that Egypt used to be among favorite tourist destination; because I am no longer holding Egypt in a high esteem. Neither are my honouring Egypt again! Suffice to say that I have begun seeing all Egyptians and Egypt as a country in entirety as WICKED, DECEITFUL and PHONY!! There is a reason for this: remember it takes only one grain sand to tip the scale in either direction.

Pyramids of Egypt
Sphinx

One Egyptian has made me to see all Egyptians as the same. Why? Because I trusted this Egyptian woman called Ghada Gad. She is a journalist and a translator but she took my trust and respect I had for her as a weakness. However, I have the FULL confidence and FAITH that the Universe, Karma, Kwan Yin, Angels and the Cosmic Forces are coming after Ghada Gad; because Ghada Gad MUST face the consequences of what she has done to me. There is no way Ghada Gad is going to escape her Nemesis of her actions!

I know someone will be asking what Ghada Gad did to Kingsley and what happened? What happened and what Ghada Gad did to Kingsley is this: Ghada Gad stole my poems!! Read through my explanations below.

One Egyptian journalist and translator by name Ghada Gad. I met Ghada Gad on LinkedIn 2022; according to the LinkedIn profile of Ghada Gad, she is a Translator (English/Arabic)& classicist (Freelance journalist). Ghada Gad has 500+ connections on LinkedIn. Her location specifies Alexandria, Egypt and her educational institution also specifies Alexandria University. She has an M.A. of literary criticism in 2008 from Alexandria University. Anyway, I will attach screenshot of Ghada Gad LinkedIn profile.

Now, the problem I am having with Ghada Gad is that she stole my poems!!!Let me explain:

After I met Ghada on LinkedIn we started having a good rapport. It was there I introduced myself to her that I am a writer. Yes, I have a children’s book on Amazon and other bookstores worldwide; the title is Cindy and Her Beautiful Bird. I am also a blogger at www.kingsley-osajie.com and I am from Delta State, Nigeria but I live in Abuja, Nigeria. Ghada Gad and I started having mutual conversations. Subsequently, I told Ghada Gad about my love and familiarity for Egypt. How I used to stay up late in the library reading about Egyptian mythology, culture and history when I was in high school. It seemed very fascinating to Ghada Gad. From there I told Ghada Gad that I have written a poem about the Sphinx in Egypt and the Nile River. Ghada Gad was really excited and she asked me to send her my poems about Egypt. I felt a little reluctant to send her my poems but I thought of how we have been conversing for some months and I thought that Ghada Gad was an authentic and credible person so I sent her my poems via email. The screenshot I have attach here in this post.

I sent Ghada my poems on April 12, 2022. I sent it to her email address (ghadagad1975@yahoo.com) she acknowledged receipt and promised me that she would make sure my poems are published. That she was going to start working on the translation of my poems into Arabic and once she is done she would forward it to an editor and then it would be published. I have evidences of my conversation with Ghada Gad on LinkedIn.

After giving me her words that I should not worry that she (Ghada Gad) would publish my poems the next thing I saw is that Ghada Gad blocked me on LinkedIn. I could not reach her on LinkedIn anymore but there was no way I could send her messages. She also deleted her messages to me; but thankful to LinkedIn because I was able to retrieve Ghada Gad deleted messages, view them and made screenshots of them.

Ghada Gad acknowledging my email

Ghada Gad has made my view of Egypt and Egyptians to tilt…I am not happy with Ghada Gad. Ghada Gad MUST be brought to book and justice should be given out to me. Ghada Gad should publish my poems as she has previously agreed.

“The game of Life is a game of boomerangs. Our deeds, words and thoughts returns to us, sooner or later with astounding accuracy.”  Florence Scovel Shinn

No matter what, Ghada Gad must face the consequences of her actions and I am open for anyone to join me in this cause for Ghada Gad to be exposed. There is no peace for the wicked.

DESTINATION

In this ever-evolving Universe, everything is vibrating and everything is moving: either in different directions or the same directions. Nothing is stagnant. Everything and everyone has “where” they are going to. It is a common communication between people—when you get to the motor park you are being asked your destination. It applies to the airport, railway station and every other aspects of human existence.

One day, I was in the cab—I was not the only one in the cab; there were other passengers. The cab was moving and everyone was on silence. With time, each passenger started alighting at their various destinations. So it happened till I was the only one remaining in the cab. Just me and the driver—I actually began to feel a kind of lonely, sober and curious…I was filled with wonder. Inside my mind I was thinking something: and I was thinking about destinations. Not only was I thinking about the destinations of my fellow passengers. I was also thinking about life too. I looked out from the window and I saw cars, vehicles etc moving to-and-fro in different directions…all headed to a particular but different destinations!

Each time I see cars and vehicles moving to and fro. Where are they going to? They all have their destinations. Same thing applies when I am on the highway; you see people moving up and down, left and right etc. they all have different destinations! That is to show you that everything is moving.

Now, the BIG question, is do you have a destination? Do you know your destination? The word destiny, destined and destination all has the same meaning because it talks about a path of life…I mean Life-Path—and when you are following a path it is leading YOU “somewhere.” So, when you hear people talk about destiny just remember that they are talking about the path of life your Soul has chosen to follow or live in. Everyone cannot have the same destiny. I know my destination and I am following it.

Again, I will round up this post by asking you: what is your destination? Where is your destination?

WHY DO PEOPLE USE ROAD SIDE MANICURE AND PEDICURE?

Google Images

By nature, humans are “crazy” including me! Lol! There is something I have been noticing…now people will say it is a normal thing or justify it by saying that is a personal hygienic practice. Hmm…well it ought to be a personal hygienic practice; but then I think there is a limit to things we should do. Although it all boils down to different strokes for different folks!

Actually, I never thought I would write about something like this but it became so recurrent and prevalent that it caught my attention and I have to. The question now is, is this habit born out of laziness…? Let me go straight to the topic:

You know it is good to maintain a good personal hygienic routine. But at the same time I think we should exercise some level of boundaries and standards. Nowadays, I see that most people especially in the streets I see this happening. They have turned to these Hausa men to take care of their manicure and pedicure. Now, these people are just ordinary citizens. These Hausa men do the manicure and pedicure for these people and they pay them. BUT, I do not find it hygienic or a good thing. The question is, what it will take for someone to use the razor or nail clipper to cut their finger nails and toe nails?  Why wait for someone else to come and do that for you. And the craziest thing is that you see them stretch out their hands or feet and the Hausa man does the pedicure and manicure innocently and attentively. It looks crazy to me.

Google Images

Do not get me wrong. I love taking care of my body as well but not in this way. Even if I want to have manicure and pedicure; it should not be done by the street men. In fact, suffice to say that it is not even healthy. Going to a saloon is better than just stopping one Hausa man to come and cut your finger nails and toe nails for you. I was with someone some time ago and the person called a Hausa to come and caught his finger nails. In the process, the Hausa man was mistakenly cutting his flesh. How irritated I was!!

Another question, is how sanitized and sterilized are the equipments of these Hausa men used in manicure and pedicure? It is so sad that many people do not pay attention to their health. Forgetting that through these unhygienic health practices they are opening themselves up to contact infections and diseases.

One will say that I am trying to put those Hausa men out of business by condemning their work. I am not really condemning their work. What I am doing is a constructive criticism. In advanced countries of the world such unhygienic practices do not happen. The ideal thing is for these Hausa men to open up a saloon shop where people will come and patronize them. That way it would be more hygienic and better; but if you want to start analyzing that it boils down to our country we are living that is lope-sided and backward.

Do you use roadside manicure and pedicure to treat your finger nails and toe nails?

“She MUST DIE Before Me”!

Nigerian Wedding: Google images

When you hear the kind of life orientation and mentality of some people you will be dumbfounded. You begin to ask yourself what kind of blood is flowing in such person’s body. No doubt, we are living in a patriarchal society…some times when I remember my experience from whence the title of this post came from I am left dumbfounded and shrugging my shoulder in WONDER.

It was during the Christmas season in 2020; I went to a meeting—that meeting is a contribution meeting where they share foodstuffs at the end of the year. But I am not a member of the meeting. I went there to represent my brother as he was not around. There in the meeting, there is this pandemonium which can be either a good one or bad one. In such gatherings altercations are not left out. I actually minded my own business and acted as a spectator; they shared palm wine (known as Ozuu) in my native language. I love palm wine because it is natural and nourishing!

As we were enjoying the palm wine; a lady walked into the compound to fetch water—and then came a murmuring and uproar…one man sitting opposite me gave the lady a nasty look and hissed with anger. “Women of nowadays are nothing to write home about…how can a woman be wearing that kind of dress….”? The young lady was wearing a tight trouser showing the shape of her body and skin. I am sure she did not know they were talking about her. Some of the men in the meeting were laughing while others were joined in the scolding.

The man who began talking about the lady took it very personal because he was very angry. “Don’t be surprised that this lady is married and she is dressing like this…” he said with resentment. “That is why I have said that my wife must die before me. She must die before me.” He affirmed emphatically and passionately. One man among them asked him his reason for saying such statement and he answered: “If I die before my wife she will have the privilege to start dressing the way she likes; another man will take her and start having relationship with her. Even in my grave I will not be happy with her and I will seek revenge. So she must die before me that is the only way there will be peace…”

“So you do not want your wife to have a companion if you are dead. Besides, don’t you think two of you will grow old together and by that time you must have finished training your children and it will be just the two of you? Or is it not your wish for the two of you to grow old together”? Another man told him. “Men often die before their wives because of the struggles and suffering men pass through in order to provide for their wife and children. So if I die before my wife another man will come and take and start enjoying what I have labored for. That cannot happen! She must die before me! From his countenance one could tell easily that he is a vindictive and malicious person—the territorial and jealous partners!

I could not believe my ears and eyes when I heard him say these. In my mind, I was like: now the poor wife is at home innocent; maybe she is hurrying to prepare meal for her beloved husband and the so-called beloved husband is outside planning evil ahead of her! Too bad! In my own opinion and full transparency; I do not think this man is a good man. He does not love the wife—otherwise why would he have such plans.

On the other hand do you think a wife would say such or wish such for her husband?

ENCHANTED!!

Image: Shawn Engel (www.witchywisdom.com)

This Earth we live in is a sea of energy!! Earth—though appears to be a physical realm; but trust me Earth is a realm that has both the physical and spiritual energies in it. Like Zoroaster correctly said “There is one God and a continuous struggle between the forces light and darkness.” When I was a Jehovah’s Witness, we were taught not to believe in some spiritual acts which happen to humans or caused by humans: even if you want to call it witchcraft, spell, hexes, jinxes, black magic. During my time as a Jehovah’s Witness, I subliminally knew that life is beyond the physical and that there is more than meet the eyes…!

I was in a spiritual gathering some time ago when a young man shared an experience of what HAPPENED to him. It is SO OVERWHELMING and decided not to keep it to myself but to share with you a very touching story that happened to a young man. To protect his identity and privacy, I will call him Samson in this article (even if it not his real name).

One Sunday morning in the spiritual gathering I was in with my friend. During the activities; a young handsome guy came forward to share what happened him. Samson came forward and introduced himself. He was living in Germany and doing well in Germany. As we are living in a modern and digital world; there are many ways to meet people especially on the internet. Samson is a young guy who was ready to be in a relationship and get married. According to him, he met a girl online and they started chatting. They were chatting while he was in Germany. Until “SOMETHING” happened!

Google.com/Google images

Samson said he has been in Nigeria for the past two years and “forgot” to go back to Germany. Now, the question is why would someone who is living abroad; visited Nigeria and then forget to go back to Germany? Something should be amiss somewhere—do not you think so? As Samson shared his story everyone was listening with a rapt attention; including me! And then Samson dropped the breaking news….his forgetting to back to Germany was caused by a spelled he was under its influence!!!!

source: Google.com/Google images

The girl Samson was dating went to a Babalawo (Shaman) and cast a spell on Samson to not remember to go back to Germany. According to Samson, his intention was to come to Nigeria, spend some time with the girl, go back to Germany and then come back and wed the girl and take her to Germany. But something happened—according to him; he was spending on the girl and her family; even footing the bills of the girl’s university school fees. He continued this way for complete two years—he said one day he was lying on the bed when he felt like scales were out of his eyes and that he regained his sense/consciousness! He asked me himself subliminally “What are my still doing in Nigeria”? He checked the calendar and realized that he has been in Nigeria for two years forgetting his job and residence in Germany!! With synchronicity, he came across a prophet who revealed to him that he was under a spell that is why he has not gone back to Germany.

It was revealed to Samson that the girl he was dating took his picture to a shaman who broke many eggs on his (Samson) head and tied him spiritually so that he would not go back to Germany and to always do the bidding of the girl he was dating! The prophet instructed Samson to go on a one week fasting and prayer so that the spell can be broken; having heard this Samson was shocked and overwhelmed; he had no choice than to obey the prophet’s instruction. Later on, he met the girl and jokingly decided to check her phone; behold! There were the pictures of the witchcraft activities and spell that was worked on Samson! He could not believe his eyes and that was the end of the relationship.

After the service, Samson was prayed for and counseled. According to him, he said he felt inspired to come and join us in the spiritual gathering. When he finished sharing his experience with us, he told us that he went to the German embassy in Nigeria to sort out his travelling schedules; that his travelling documents were all ready. Samson went back to Germany the following week.

Praise God!!

One thing I know for sure is that; no matter how strong and powerful a black magic/witchcraft activities or demonic forces may seem to be. Against the power of Light there can be n victory!

Light will always conquers darkness

‘Until Black Lives Matter to Black People, Nobody Cares’ – Cynthia Morgan

I have been following up with the issue of Black Lives Matter; and I have a LOT to say about it. There are some BITTER TRUTHS that needs to be exposed!! But that would be a story for another day; in the meantime I thought I would share with you this overwhelming, inspiring, beautiful and thought-provoking write up by a Nigerian singer: Cynthia Morgan.

Cynthia Morgan

Before I share with you Cynthia Morgan perspective on the Black Lives Matter; I would like to let you know that I never had a regard for Cynthia Morgan until I read her write up. Upon reading it; I was like WOW!! So this woman has such intellectual prowess and wisdom? Quickly, I followed her in all her social media platforms, downloaded her songs, pictures and started using her song as my caller tune.

Truth be told, Cynthia really made a salient point. Hear what she has to say below

I am not an American, but I am a Black woman. Maybe the America saga is none of my business but I am Human, Ok, I have seen two of the most horrific videos in my life time.

Never seen somebody die that way with no respect whatsoever and all I see is black people ranting on social media created by our white friends. Some of them might not like us, just know we caused it.

  1. Ya all need a Black Nation.
  2. Invest more on black people and black ideas.
  3. Let every black life count to you as a black person first before you preach it to other people.

White people have every right to be proud and do whatever pleases them. Its only natural, that’s how people act when they see all your comfort and life depends on them.

What we are fighting is more than just color thing, It’s more of mentality problems and it’s a way of the devil putting separation and chaos in the world so we all won’t come together and be in peace.

If we all in peace how then can he fulfill taking people to hell with him? And this has to be fought with God’s knowledge not guns, only cowards pull guns in a towel fight, even this cops knows this.

The only reason why white cops don’t and wouldn’t kill a white man is because they respect themselves and they know what they have put into building their nation. It’s hard before you see a white man pull a white man down intentionally.

Black People are special people, we need to believe more in ourselves. You all can’t even come back to Africa because Africa is not ready for ya’ll. Most of you forgot your roots and stayed angry that they sold your forefathers out but somehow you still prefer it there.

Black people might no longer be in chains of a white man physically but somehow they still are mentally. We need to build our own so we can earn our own respect back. Put some respect in you as a black man, else we are always going to be 2nd choice.

Until black lives matters to black lives, nobody cares. I am good with my black people with a couple of white friends, but if they wouldn’t have me I wouldn’t either. #Bless

The Real Truth Behind Wrestling And Why It Is Fake

WWE; (Opera News)

I have always been fascinated by the Wrestling sport since childhood. I remember watching the wrestling sport on TV when I was a child. Often times, we watch together as a family. Sometimes I watch it alone with my siblings. As I grow up I became even more fascinated and curious with this amazing and entertaining sport. Sure, I have my favorite wrestlers in male and female. On top of this; I also learnt some skills in wrestling (LOL). To date, the wrestling sits at the top of one of my favorite sports!

As my curiosity about the WWE grew so did my curiosity about the authenticity of wrestling grow! I began to wonder about all the punches, kicks and what have you… that is why today I decided to share with you the real truths about this amazing sport wrestling! I have the confidence you will learn one or two things from the information below.

The World Wrestling Entertainment is one of the worlds biggest and richest companies with millions and millions of fans all over the world. It is normally shortened as WWE and it’s a professional kind of game in the US that is meant to entertain fans all over the world.

This great company was founded in the year 1980 and on the 21st of February and The CEO Vince McMahon is one of the key founders of this entertainment company together with his wife Linda McMahon. As of the reports released in 2020, the company’s net worth still stands at $ 5.71 billion and still counting.

For many years, there have been speculations and questions rose as to whether the stunts done in some of the wrestling matches are real or just meant for entertainment purposes. Ever understood whether or not WWE is a fake sport or a real one? This is a question that many have been asking themselves for years and over the recent years, people are beginning to discover the truth for themselves with regard to how real wrestling is.

To answer and bring satisfaction to anyone reading this article and needs and an answer, then you should know That, WWE is an entertaining sport and there is nothing real about all the stunts that we get to see in the ring.

How do they get winners?

According to WWE rules and standards, it is founder and CEO Vince McMahon who gets to decide the person who wins any match. He works closely with the script writers who ensure that whatever he decides is the exact thing that happens in the ring

The agents also works very well to ensure the matches are properly fixed to ensure everything makes a lot of sense. Another thing you should know however is that despite the fact that the winner is known and it’s already in the script, nobody knows how the winner will win and that is why they are specially trained for that very purpose.

Are there any injuries during matches?

One question that most people probably ask is about injuries. We often get to see injuries sometimes in some matches and there is nothing fake about the injuries. Even though the wrestlers don’t intentionally hurt each other, accidents do happen and in some cases a knee may be broken or any other injury in any way.

Despite the fact that all things are scripted, there are times when things go out of hand and as a matter of fact the most memorable moments in history of the WWE are those moments that were not scripted. According to reports, most of the scripts in the WWE are written by Bryan Danielson together with other staff members in the writing team.

What of steel chairs?

Am sure you have seen those moments when an opponent had to be hit by a steel chair and you keep wondering whether it hurts. Anything that is steel like landing in your body will definitely hurt and that’s a fact. The wrestlers have however been trained to do it in a manner that the opponent will not be hurt. The only thing that was banned by Vince McMahon was using the steel chairs to hit the head because it would more often than not lead to serious concussions.

The fact that the matches are scripted does not out rightly mean they are totally fake, some of the stunts are real and the only difference is that the people involved have been well trained for that kind of thing.

You will find great enemies suddenly being kept in the same team for a match and all that is to show you that it’s a scripted thing.

Your Energy Is Your Responsibility

In my previous post, I shared some gems of wisdom from the amazing Sarah Prout and today here I bring you another inspiring post from Sarah Prout. It talks about Energy; when I finally came to grasp a complete understanding of the term Energy; I now agree that everything is Energy and your Energy is your responsibility. Read and found out for yourself!

It’s time to take your power back! In the hustle and bustle of our busy lives we cross paths with numerous energetic frequencies and vibrations that can potentially disturb our flow. Too often people hand over their power when they feel that they are being pushed out of their comfort zones – even for the smallest of things. For instance, if someone is being overly negative you might feel drained. People in the spiritual or personal growth space tend to get a little scared of negativity. Or if someone isn’t behaving in the way that you think they “should” you feel annoyed and irritated. This happens time and time again in relationships that need more compassion and understanding.

It’s in these moments that you must remind yourself that you have the power to guide your energy in the direction that will serve you.

Fear or love? Stillness or judgement? You get to choose.

Sarah Prout (www.sarahprout.com)

This magical realization helps to move from the perception that life is happening to you instead of through you. There is a big difference. Do you see it? Life happens through you, as you are the creator of your own reality.

More than likely the energetic obstacles or upsets that get placed on your path (that you think are swaying your vibe) are actually Divine instruments to help you grow spiritually. The Universe LOVES to test the souls that put their hands up to dive into the spiritual lessons of expansion.

Energy management is like building up a muscle The more you consciously guide your awareness to take ownership and responsibility for your own energy, the more you will become a powerful manifestor. You’ll strengthen your capability to spend your energy wisely and understand that nothing can interfere with your energy without your consent.

So instead of blaming a person or situation for depleting your spiritual reserves, remember that you have a choice. You are the pilot of your soul plane and more than likely you’ll experience some turbulence, but the plane will still remain in the air.

The common mistake is to believe that external forces have the power to lower your vibration. When it’s actually the other way around. Think of it as an opportunity to raise your vibration when you are faced with less-than-desirable situations. You are being strengthened. As a manifestor, as a spiritual being, you are being given a blessing to WORK WITH, not against.

2 Things I LOVE About Korra Obidi

I knew about Korra Obidi when the news of her marriage failure with her American husband Justin Dean. Before then I did not know about Korra Obidi; what amazed me most is that Korra Obidi is from my state (Delta State). From there I knew also that Korra is a dancer and singer. In truth, I can say that Korra is a beautiful woman, a woman of substance and truly talented! Suffice to say that I am a huge fan of Korra Obidi as I am following her on all her social media.

Recently Korra wrote a children’s book titled The Last Seed of Odinani; so it means that Korra is also an author. Is this not laudable? Sure it is! As a an ardent follower of Korra Obidi; I have discovered some things about her and I want to share with you the things I have discovered about Korra Obidi—things that makes me LOVE Korra Obidi.

1. Korra Obidi is a Natural Woman. In today’s world, women (especially Nigerian/Black African women and Black American women) are now CRAZE after lightening their skin. Bleaching their skin has become the order of the day. The rate at which most women bleach their skin is very alarming and disappointing (even some are joining in this madness too). It begins to make one to wonder what happens to maintaining your natural skin color. I must also admit that I was once caught up in this madness of bleaching skin during my teenage years. But thanks to personal development and new knowledge that helped me stop towing that useless path of bleaching. There is nothing beautiful about bleaching your skin. I don’t want to start talking about the effects of bleaching skin. I am sure you know about them.

If you look Korra Obidi she maintains her original black skin color and that makes TRULY beautiful!! Honestly, men and women who bleach their skin are just engaging in some madness in practice. You cannot trade your originality for artificiality!! Korra Obidi is a role model to women (being divorced does not mean you are a bad person because I know many women and men are going to start pointing at the failed marriage of Korra Obidi).

2. Korra Obidi loves Buddha. When I started following Korra Obidi I noticed that she used the multiple hands of Kwan Yin as her profile picture in her Instagram page. Then again, I was watching Korra’s song Royal Lamba and I saw the picture of Buddha in the video. In my full transparency, I LOVE this song and it is actually one of my favorites as I always play it on repeat, sing along and dance along! LOL! In the video of Korra Obidi song; the Buddha’s picture is SO visible and close to Korra.

Now, the question is who does not love Buddha or Kwan Yin. If I am going to be honest; I will say that these two Light Beings (Guan Yin (also Kwan Yin) and Buddha are TRULY Light Beings worth loving as they embody wisdom, grace, enlightenment and compassion in its HIGHEST form! I follow the wisdom and teachings of Guan Yin and Buddha and trust me it has been life-changing for me. I actually have the pictures of Buddha and Kwan Yin in my room.

Another thing I love about Buddha and Guan Yin is that they are Universal Beings. They are accessible to anyone who is aligned with them. There are other Light Beings who do not make themselves accessible to everyone. They are only limited to a specific region, person/people. But in the case of Guan Yin and Buddha it is not like that!

I will round up this post by saying

Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa

A Successful Farming Family

Today, I wanted to share with you a story about a family in northern Nigeria. I do not know them by any means. I heard it from a very heartwarming conversation between two friends and I thought I would share with you. I hope you enjoy it!

I shall always remember my old friend, Tanko. Tanko’s father, Alhaji Ibrahim Nuhu was the District Head of Yandaka District, near Katsina. Tanko was the eldest of three sons and he and his brothers all worked on the Alhaji’s farm.

The Alhaji had about six hectares of manure farmland near the village. On this farm he grew groundnuts, cowpeas, cassava and early millet. In addition, he had a bush farm of about five hectares, about three kilometers from the village. On this farm, he grew late millet, more groundnuts, cowpeas and guinea corn. Every year, the Alhaji paid some Cattle Fulani to bring their cattle to the bush farm to manure it. Tanko worked hard on his father’s farm and when he was about twenty four years old his parents helped him to marry. His new wife came and joined him on his father’s compound and Tanko continued to work hard. He helped to cultivate his father’s land. He was very good with the ox plough. During the dry season, he worked as a labourer and also began to sell groundnuts. So when his first child was born his parents did not have to pay all the Naming Ceremony expenses: he paid for some of these himself.

Tanko also found that he could make more money by selling boiled cassava in the nearby market. After a time, he and his family moved to another house in the village. His father lent him some money to help. Tanko’s wife began to trade from the new house, selling roasted groundnuts, groundnut oil, different kinds of cake and tuwo. Tanko too became a well-known trader in grains, groundnuts and cowpeas. He usually bought these at harvest time and stored them for some months before selling.

On the death of the Alhaji, about three years ago, Tanko and his brothers each inherited some of the Alhaji’s land. But by then Tanko was rich enough to buy another farm of his own.

Last year, I went to visit Tanko in his village.

“Tell me, what are the reasons why you are so successful?” I asked

All things are possible by the will of Allah,” he replied. “But a good father, hard work and a good wife also help!”

Must I Compete?

Competition is an assumption that someone else in your market place is vying for the same money, the same clients, or the same business as you. This whole concept of competition is based on scarcity, the idea that there is not enough for both you and your competitors to have as much as you want.

Competition makes sense in fear-based reality. A reality that says rocks are hard and water is wet, and that’s just the way the world is. In a reality that says, take before you are taken, that you must fight for what you want because the world is cruel and harsh and there is not enough for everyone. It makes sense in a dog-eat-dog world of corporate greed where the big guys take all and the little guys get squashed.” It is reinforced by advertisements such as one that is currently being aired by Chase bank promoting the use of their credit card. In the advertisement they end with this quote: “Chase…so you can.”  Every time I watch it, I shout, “No you don’t want to do that!” You never want to have to run after anything—that means it is not within your reach. This kind of mindset and mentality comes from the place of (negative) ego and attachment which ultimately leads to suffering!

That is the ultimate of scarcity. In the frequency of scarcity everything is in short supply which leaves you with very little choice. Manifestation and scarcity energies do not mix. They function in entirely different frequencies, so if you are competing and chasing after, know that you are operating in scarcity and you are on the short end of the stick.

Competition also breeds jealousy. Jealousy is when you think somebody has something that you feel you should have instead. It’s like you want what they have, but they’ve got it, so now you are going to have to go out and really work hard to find other ways to get what you want. For example, as a young girl or boy who is been seen as ripe for marriage can also face the pressure to get married. Parents and siblings do this by comparing you with folks, peers, friends and people. Not knowing that everyone is on a different “time zone” and life path. You do not have to rush into marriage because your mates are getting married. Rather get married because you are ready.

Here is what Reno Omokri has to say

“Marry when you are ready, not when you are pressured, or the marriage will be sad endeavour. People who pressure you to marry will be the same ones who will spread the scandalous stories that will happen when you marry unprepared. When you ask them for loans for food, rent, school fees, they will tell you stories, and later tell others your stories. They told you marriage brings blessings. They did not tell you that those blessings require feeding, and if you can’t feed them, the blessing becomes a lesson. That is why you should marry when you are under treasure, not when you are under pressure!” Reno Omokri

Jealousy is a simple identification with that other person as that person should have been me. Jealousy can also bring a tremendous amount of anger and blame at that other person for having what you want.  And that’s why many people who become successful become targets of the jealousy of other people as they wish and hope for an opportunity to sabotage and tear them down. BE CAREFUL with the energy of jealousy. You will always limit your prosperity, your abundance, and the amount of love you can receive, if you judge others who can receive apparently more than you.

Remember, we are all walking in our own unique life paths. There is no need for competition or comparison

So must you compete? Must I compete? Must we compete? There are people who are trying their best to have successful businesses, and yet it is difficult not to fall into the current model of competition which can also lead to jealousy. The current model of running a business to put it in one word is to become a workaholic, to push and drive because by golly you are competing and you’ve got to out compete.

However, the energy of the workaholic is the energy of not enough. In this energy you feel you are not successful enough. You always feel like you are not doing enough, and you always have to be doing more because you are competing with these other people and if you don’t run faster and harder than them, then they are going to take over and make the big bucks and leave you behind.

BE CAREFUL with the energy of jealousy. You will always limit your prosperity, your abundance, and the amount of love you can receive, if you judge others who can receive apparently more than you

The truth is you don’t have to compete. Competition exists because of a belief in lack and a belief in fear of failure. So here’s what you can do. The first thing to know is that there is no competition because you can create whatever you choose. There are statisticians out there that will tell you that your market is so big and only so much of the pie can be yours. Don’t fall for it. Statistics don’t count. They don’t make any difference. YOU are the one that makes all the difference. As a reality creator, you are creating your clients and your business. You came into this world with talents, strengths and capabilities that are unique to you. As such, nobody is going after the same market as you and you don’t need to compete against anyone.

If you will let your talents, strengths and capabilities be an expression of what my dear Unseen Friends Galexis calls the 3 Divine Channels of Creativity as opposed to doing whatever you do solely for money, you will find that you will be fulfilled and you probably will make lots of money because you will be doing what you love. When you base what you do according to money, you probably won’t be successful because you are making money more important than you.

A Biography About Galexis

Symbol of Galexis: http://www.galexisspirit.com

Galexis is a group of beings who speak as One through the channel Ginger Metraux, Ph.D. These beings come from various levels, planes, dimensions, and planetary systems. Most members of Galexis have been physical on earth, so they have direct knowledge of physical body experiences and have tremendous compassion for all of us beings who are having a physical plane experience. The members of Galexis have no competition with each other and can merge into one entity/soul while still retaining their individuality. Occasionally, an individual spokes-being for the group can be distinguished by a change of accent or body posture of the channel.

The 3 Divine Channels of Creativity as described by Galexis are as follows:

  1. The first is to Love, Touch and Heal which is to connect with others, to give and receive energy to love, touch and heal.
  2. The second one is to create, to imagine, to dream, to put together something that’s fun for you, to activate your own energy, your passion, your drive and your divine flow.
  3. The third channel is to learn, to grow and to expand your awareness of yourself as a Divine Being.

Try activating any one of these three channels in whatever you do and see if you don’t find your life and your business running more smoothly.

And finally, look at a person who is successful and who is happy and enjoying what it is that you have been desiring and raise your resonance by inspiration to a level where you too can participate and experience that same joy and success that they have. You do it by saying, “This person is an inspiration for me. If they can have it, I can too. I want that for me and I choose that for me.” Rather than being jealous of them, celebrate in their success KNOWING that there is MORE THAN ENOUGH to go around!!!

Until next time, stay detached, with mindfulness and Higher Consciousness!

With Warmest Regards and Tightest Smoochy Hugs,

Your Friend,

Kingsley Osajie

7 Ways Powerful Creators Think Differently To Manifest Their Desires

In today’s post, I want to share with you some gems of inspiration from Sarah Prout. (side note: Sarah Prout has been very influential to me. She is among my mentors and influences who have helped in having a better understanding of Law of Attraction and Life. Without wasting any further time; do yourself a favour to read through these gems of inspiration that is capable of setting the tone for a positive life momentum–albeit serving as a “game-changer.”

To your EMPOWERMENT and Reality Creation!

Are you a powerful creator? Do you set an intention and then it manifests easily and effortlessly?

If your answer is NO (or even a maybe) then I have something really important to share with you. Over the last (nearly) 20 years I’ve worked with people on how to guide their energy and set inspired intentions to manifest. One of the things that I’ve noticed is the radical difference between those that take ownership of being a “Powerful Creator” versus those that like to play it safe and not step out of their comfort zone.

This spiritual work requires bravery.

You wouldn’t be reading this article right now if your soul wasn’t calling you to play a bigger game that is more inspired by GRACE and meaning.

It’s really quite simple. If you change your thinking – the way you think – then you will see different results start to show up in your life.

Here are 7 Ways Powerful Creators Think Differently To Manifest Their Desires. Focus on trying these methods and watch the magic begin to appear into your life.

1. Powerful Creators Visualize

Seeing your desired outcome in your mind’s eye is the most effective way to spark the process of manifestation. When you have clarity and you can picture and tune into how your desire will make you FEEL then the Universe will respond to your request and begin to co-create with you.

2. Powerful Creators Ask For Support

Have you heard the saying that it takes a village to raise a child? Rarely, has anyone ever achieved something great without having the guidance, wisdom or mentorship to support them along the way. This is a key element in my Manifesting Academy Soul Tribe where if my students have a question or a concern they can get the support they need to inspire them on their journey. If you can’t ask others for support then the Universe won’t know how to support you better.

3. Powerful Creators Are Positive (but don’t make negativity wrong)

There’s a beautiful sense of optimism and positivity with powerful creators. They TRUST that everything will work out as it’s meant to in perfect timing. They don’t dwell on the past or the negative, but they KNOW that sometimes these emotions are helpful and must MOVE THROUGH YOU for a purpose.

4. Powerful Creators Don’t Do Drama

Gossiping, bickering, feuds, grudges, complaints, and bullying is so high school! A powerful creator detaches from drama and can remove themselves energetically from the bullcrap of others. Why waste your energy? Focus on what serves you.

5. Powerful Creators Trust In Divine Timing

Powerful Creators remember that life is seasonal. It’s cyclic and that just because they are going through a rough patch right now does not mean that it will last forever. Powerful Creators trust in Divine Timing.

6. Powerful Creators Guide Their Energy

The wisdom of discernment is something that a Powerful Creator has dialed into their soul. They know when their vibration is high or low and can troubleshoot a course of action that will be helpful. For instance, if you feel cranky you can meditate or watch your favorite TV show of dab on some Wild Orange essential oil to tune into the energy of abundance. WE get to choose how to guide our energy. We release others from the burden of being responsible for the way we feel.

7. Powerful Creators Understand The Process

Ah manifestation! It’s a process. You set the intention, you align your energy with that which you desire and you SURRENDER. You also surround yourself with like-minded kindred spirits that support you on your journey. Powerful Creators understand the process isn’t going to work for them if they don’t follow the steps and relax into the unfolding.

Advice For Writers

In the course of my writing journey and career, I have made many mistakes. But those mistakes served as a lesson and I have used them as a stepping stone! Before I start bringing out the tips; let me tell you more about some of the mistakes I made. I am sure you will learn from it. First of all I am kind of ashamed it but I have to make the confessions (LOLS).

At the beginning of my writing career; I used to have the worry that “oh…there are lots of books in the marketplace; who is going to buy my book? How can I get attention, wider readership and blah blah blah… but I was able to overcome this limiting belief. I finally came to realize that the Universe has more than enough space for everyone to express their talents and potentials. That there are millions books in the marketplace will not serve as a barrier for me and my books in any shape or form. One thing I learnt along the way is that everyone has their own audience and followers.

Let me illustrate the analogy that helped me burst through that limiting belief: if you walk into a market you will see that not only one person sells clothes, food items, meat, fish, etc. in that same market you see many people selling the same wares and stuffs and it does not stop them from having customers and patronages. So the same thing applies to my writing. Just because there are millions of books out there do not mean that I will not have readers, buyers and followers. I SURE will and I am having them already because I have empowered myself with the belief THAT I HAVE my own audience and it is just the fact.

I used to have this belief that once I have my book published by a publisher; it will start selling and my royalties will start rolling in (smiles). But the reality I have experienced is quite a different one! Although it has served as a LESSON for me! Yes, I am “Traditionally Published” but as it stands now, I am determined to take the route of self-publishing in my next books. I was rejected by 13 publishers before I finally found a publisher in America who agreed to publish my book.

Today, my story of how I became a published author is published in a South African platform (I will share the details later in this article; in the meantime keep reading)

I have a dream of establishing my own Self-Publishing platform subsequently. I want to be in charge of my books completely. I want to be the only one to receive whatever dime that comes from my book as a royalty; I want to take it up as my own personal business and investment—so that when I am using my resources to promote my books I will know all the benefits are coming back to ONLY ME. I am faithful that my dream of having my own Self-Publishing platform will inevitably become a reality.

After having a deeper understanding of how the publishing industry works and the way it is going; I conclude for myself that self-publishing is the best option for me. It no longer pleases me to “hand over” my manuscript to a publisher (unless on a “special situation” because there are always exceptions)

So, here are the advices I have for any upcoming writer or anyone who wants to consider going into writing:

Writing is a craft, like playing a musical instrument or painting with oils. Every aspiring writer must acquire this craft, just as every musician must learn his or her instrument. Today some high schools and most colleges offer creative writing courses, and so do various writer’s critique groups. If you look around you will undoubtedly find one in your area.

Whether you take a formal course or not, most of the craft must be acquired on your own. The best place to begin is the public library, which is full of good books written by people who know how to write. Check out good books by good writers in the genre in which you are interested. Analyze their styles, see how they set up a scene, how they do dialogue, how the characters are introduced and developed, how the writer makes the names memorable or fails to do that, how the story is paced, how the action unfolds, how the conflicts develop, how the subplots are made part of the story, how the climax is handled. Analyze the scenes, find the key words which bring out the emotion of a scene, study how the writer got his effect, how he uses verbs and adverbs, try to decide why he used the key words he did. Why did the writer choose the point-of-view he used, did he shift verb tenses, why are the paragraphs where they are, why did he use action verbs in one place and “to be” verbs in another?

I recommend that every aspiring writer join a critique group. Smaller is usually better. Each person in the group must commit to write on their story every week and submit it for criticism, and they must agree to make the time to read everyone else’s submissions. Craft is learned here, and you can see how your stuff strikes readers. And by pointing out weak places in other people’s craft, you are forced to reexamine your own.

The weak point of critique groups is that egos occasionally get involved. If the discussion is collegial and everyone is trying to help every member get better at the genre they have chosen, all will go well. But if egos get out of control, the wise course is to find another critique group.

I also recommend that every aspiring writer attend one or more writer’s workshops which are held on an annual basis all over the country. Google Writer’s Workshops and see what pops up. In addition to discussions of craft which are scheduled throughout the workshops, attendees bring samples of their own work to show to the professional editors and literary agents who often attend. It is here, in a writer’s workshop, that you will have your first opportunity to pitch your work to an agent. The agent you meet at a workshop may well be the agent who ultimately takes you on as a client when you finally have a truly commercial manuscript ready to go.

Originality

Beginning writers are well advised to write about something they know. Many beginners try to write about people and places and events that they know absolutely nothing about and consequently expend vast quantities of time and effort but cannot get the story to read right.

The flip side of writing about what you know is the publishing reality that originality sells. To break into publishing and establish a major career, you must go boldly where no one has gone before, to steal a phrase. First novelist J. K. Rowling wrote of a boy wizard at an English school. Original and fresh, her novels to date have been mega-bestsellers world-wide and made her our first literary billionaire. The list goes on and on. So the formula is originality and craft, workmanship and sweat. Lots of sweat and Grace too.

Book Doctors

First time writers, or indeed, any writer struggling with a manuscript, might consider the services of a book doctor. In the past editors at major publishers might labor over a manuscript, writing, rewriting, and if necessary, inserting or eliminating subplots, all in the effort to get a manuscript up to publishing quality. Today editors at publishing houses do not do this—they simply don’t have the time. Nor can the publishing houses afford the cost. The manuscript must arrive in-house polished and ready for the line editor, who merely checks spelling, punctuation, capitalization and the like. The book doctor, paid for by the writer, fills this empty niche. You can find these services on the web, but check out their references before sending money.

Craft aside, to write successfully you must have something to write about; every word you write is a distillation of everything you know about life, about how the world works, about how people think and feel, their motivations, their hopes, their dreams, and so on. How do you write a woman in love? Well, if you are not a woman, it would help a lot if you had known one or two who were desperately, hopelessly in love. To write successfully you must understand what it is to be human. Only then can you reduce the human experience to language and put it on paper. Our best writers drank deeply of life. Students of writing must write about other people, learn to create characters that live within the boundaries of the fictional world created by the writer. This is the very essence of the craft, without which you cannot progress.

At some point every aspiring writer must evaluate his or her work and make a realistic appraisal of its worth. Are you just laying bricks? Here is where a critique group can be of real value. Do not try to write unless you are willing to fail. If you are unwilling to let your friends read your stuff because they might not understand it, it is unpublishable–the book buying public won’t understand it either. This leads inexorably to my next point: if you have to explain to a reader what they should have gotten out of a story, it didn’t work. Go back and work on it some more. The story must stand on its own. How well it stands is a direct measure of how well you have mastered the craft of writing.

The Courage to Fail

Speaking of the courage to fail, through the years I have noticed a curious phenomenon. People who are experts in literature, who know grammar, who can discuss the intricacies of plotting, characterization, setting, pacing, etc., until hell won’t have it, people who seem to have all the equipment necessary to succeed at writing fiction, rarely try it. I have no ambitions about masterpieces–I just want to write for the passion and fun books that entertain people and make a living doing it. I want to write the kind of books that I like to read. So I write and the experts read. In a way it’s sort of sad.

Once the manuscript is well written, all typos and misspellings removed, you are ready to try to get it published. The manuscript should be double-spaced on plain white paper, one side only, not bound in any way. Your name, address and phone number should be on the first and last pages of the manuscript. Do NOT submit the manuscript anywhere until you are convinced it is the best it can be.

Agents today perform the screening process that used to be done by publishing houses. Agents read unsolicited submissions and accept those they think are publishable. Today most publishing houses will not look at an unagented submission. Don’t even try. Get an agent (if you think it is your best option because you must always consider your circumstances and pocket too).

Literary agents make their money selling manuscripts to publishers, not reading them. However, do not expect a bona fide agent to return your manuscript with a long letter full of incisive literary criticism. If you want literary criticism it is only fair that you pay for it.

Breaking In

Publishers and agents all say that they are actively searching for the raw material required to keep the presses running and cartons of books on the way to bookstores. There is no conspiracy to lock out unpublished authors. Two hard realities govern the publishing world, and you must overcome them both to break in.

Book buyers like to buy brand names. They will buy a new book by an author they have read and enjoyed without even reading the blurb on the dust jacket. The consumer’s focus on established talent makes it incredibly difficult for a publisher to make a first novel a commercial success.

Most aspiring writers haven’t acquired the craft of writing, so 99% of the stuff agents and publishers see is unpublishable. Consequently, while book people are looking for publishable material, finding the jewels is like searching a hog pen for diamonds. (One editor told me that editors see so much trash, sometimes the glitter of the mediocre seems irresistible. The book-buying public, less jaded, is more fickle.)

The challenge to beginners is this: you must write a book so good, so compelling, the agents and publishers decide that the book can be sold despite the brand-name focus of the book-buying public. Remember, these people are trying to make money publishing books; they must sell books to survive. So the question is who will buy your books? Yet even if there was an audience out there, a publisher would not sign a writer unless he was firmly convinced that writer could deliver a commercial manuscript ready for the line editor with a minimum of editorial guidance, or he was holding such a manuscript in his hand.

NEVER forget–publishing is a FOR PROFIT business. Your manuscript must convince everyone all along the line that they can MAKE MONEY by publishing it. Notice that I said “your manuscript,” for truly, it must sell itself. Regardless of who you know or how persistent your agent is, the manuscript must be good enough that publishers can see how it can be sold.

More people are writing today than ever before in history. Word-processing programs and PCs have freed writers from the clerical drudgery that plagued the craft since the invention of the alphabet. In addition, the booming economy has given huge numbers of people the luxury of time, which many folks are spending at the keyboard of one of those PCs. The result is an unprecedented flood of manuscripts. The market for books, however, continues to grow slowly–while more books are sold today than ever before, the percentage of people reading continues to shrink as technology and lifestyles change. As you might imagine, all these writers searching for agents and publishers have created a bonanza for scam artists.

Be Wary

Anyone can claim to be a literary agent; there are no licensing or knowledge requirements and ethics are strictly optional. Many writers have been rejected so often by the bona fide publishing industry that they become easy prey for the unscrupulous. A few words of praise is the usual hook. Regardless of how the scam starts, eventually the subject of money will come up. The writer is requested to pay reading fees, acceptance fees, all kinds of fees, and promises flow like beer at a biker bar. Once your money is gone, it’s usually gone forever.

Once your novel is accepted by a publishing house, you will find that today you MUST get actively involved in publicizing the work. Publishers used to do all the publicity and promotion, but we live in a changing world beset by inexorable economic realities. YOUR ability and willingness to help sell the book will be a huge factor in its success. You see I emphasized the “must”–that is why I am deciding to go into self-publishing so that I can channel all my energy and resources to the success of my book with the BEST of my abilities!

My book (Cindy And Her Beautiful Bird) is available worldwide and it was nominated for the Readers Choice Awards in 2020. Here is a trailer for my book

Your Ego is NOT Your Amigo

The negative operates from a lower vibration and a powerless place. When you are in the negative ego, you NEVER win. Some forms which the negative ego can take are: pride, bragging, pretense, fear, jealousy, fear, desperation, limiting beliefs, negative thoughts/voices, feelings of unworthiness etc. The negative ego is another EPITOME of lies (as limiting beliefs ARE!!)

I am very grateful to Lazaris, a Non Physical Entity of Light channeled by Jack Pursel. Lazaris explains in detail what the ego is. The ego is two types: negative ego and positive ego. But many people generalize it as ego which is not true! Self-love, self-confidence, gratitude, mindfulness, humility, honesty etc are egos too; but these are positive ego.

Our Higher Selves works with the Positive Ego. The Negative Ego can be correctly named the Devil in every human; the dark side of human beings. Assuming we as human beings do not have the negative ego we would be more like the Angels in terms of Consciousness—because Angels of Light and other Light Beings do not have the negative ego. And the positive ego is full of unlimited possibilities, celestial mandates, higher vibrations and higher consciousness all-round.

I used to wonder why someone cannot change completely. For example, nobody is perfect. Even if you are a religious leader, spiritual teacher etc you still have the negative ego in you. Only very few humans has been able to dethrone their negative egos. When someone changes from a bad habit or deed to a good path; I used to think within me in my cradle days of spiritual development and awakening that once you turn away from whatever bad thing you used to do that you will become perfect because you God/Universe will give you perfection; but I come to realize that having the negative in us is like a learning curve for us, a reminder to keep embracing the light and using our freewill. But I think it is “WORK”!! because you know how I see it and how I am feeling about this is that—if God/Universe/Angels removes the negative ego from humans we would not need their help because we will be vibrating at the same level of Consciousness as they are—and even if not exactly; our own Consciousness will be at a very high level—one worth adoring and being a force to reckon with!!

To help us further understand the Negative Ego (Devil) and the Positive Ego (Angel); here is an illustration of the Negative Ego (Devil) and the Positive Ego (Angel) as explained by Morihei Ueshiba (aka O-Sensei):

No matter how you ‘chop off’ negative thoughts they will keep appearing according to the law of action and reaction. That’s why you needn’t fight with them. You should withdraw from them, artificially developing positive thoughts inside yourself. In other words, concentrate on something good or recall something good. Only in this smooth withdrawal will you be able to defeat your negative thought.

And why can thoughts sometimes be the absolute opposite of each other? Let’s put it this way: in the human body, there is a spiritual nature, or soul, and a material nature, or animal, beastly, call it as you wish. The human mind is a battlefield of these two natures. That’s why different thoughts arise in you. And who am ‘I’ then, if thoughts are alien? Not alien, but yours. You are the one who’s listening to them. And which nature you give preference to, that you will become. If you prefer the material, animal nature, then you’ll be evil and nasty, and if you listen to the advice of your soul, you’ll be a good person, and it will be pleasant for other people to be around you.

The choice is always yours; you are either a tyrant or a saint. You turned to the soul, your wish was fulfilled. When you weakened your control over yourself, you were pulled over by the animal nature, imperceptibly for you at that, by your own favourite egoistic thoughts. There is a constant war of two natures inside of you for you. And your future depends on which side you choose.

It is possible to fight with the one who offers resistance. But fighting with a vacuum is senseless. Against a vacuum of negative thoughts, it is only possible to create the same vacuum of positive thoughts. In other words, as I’ve said before, to switch to a positive and to think about good things. But always stay vigilant, listen to what your brain is thinking about. Observe yourself. Be aware of the fact that you don’t make any effort, but the thoughts in you are constantly swarming. And not one thought. There can be two and three or even more at once.

It is like in Christianity, they say, on man’s left shoulder sits the devil, and on the right, an angel. And they are always whispering “something…” But for some reason, the devil whispers louder, he probably has a rougher voice. What’s called the devil in Christianity is the manifestation of our animal nature (Negative Ego).Well, if the mind is a battlefield of two natures, and as far as I understand it, their weapons are thoughts, then how can you distinguish who is who?  How do the spiritual and the animal nature manifest in thoughts? In which way?

The spiritual nature are thoughts generated by the power of Love, in the broad sense of the word. While the animal nature are thoughts about the body, our instincts, our reflexes, megalomania, desires, which are entirely consumed by material interests, and so forth. (Sense I The Primordial of Shambala by Anastasia Novykh)

Just imagine how it would look like when you become the individual who does not have limiting beliefs, negative thoughts, negative energies and vibrations. Your aura and third eye are highly activated, clean and fortified at all times. You are in mindfulness and well connected to the Ethereal. In that kind of reality you are an Enlightened Being (suffice to say an Angel) because negative entities and energies cannot penetrate you because you are too much of a high vibrational being for them to come near to or try to penetrate!

Another thing is that the Earth has its own troubles and hiccups. As the beloved Ascended Master Kwan Yin taught us; “The realm you’re in has a heaviness that mutes energy. You can penetrate through it, no matter how dark and heavy.” It takes spiritual muscle to penetrate through the denseness of this earth (trust me!) but it is possible to penetrate through it.

It is my joy to see humans dethrone and starve their negative egos. But wait; are my daydreaming by saying that? Lols! No. Subliminally and honestly I know that this cannot happen once! It will take centuries for humanity to have come to this state of Higher Consciousness. Right now, the earth is healing, humans are healing. And humanity’s consciousness is rising to a higher level. Many are awakening (spiritually) and we are all at our own pace and time.

Always remember that your (negative) Ego is not your Amigo; because if you do not take your time the (negative) Ego will tear you down and destroy you in a twinkling of an eye. You do not want to be in that reality because like Lazaris said; the (negative) Ego can destroy all your efforts and achievements that you have laboured to accomplish in an instant.

I will say it again; if you are living from the negative Ego you will NEVER win. Quote me anywhere! I used to feed my (negative) Ego. But having caught the tricks of my (negative) Ego I now disrespect and disobey my (negative) Ego because it is not going to lead me into a positive life momentum. You have got this!

Until next time, stay mindful; in Higher Consciousness with constant Divinity.

Some Dose of Inspirations for Us Today

Hi there! What are you up to recently? As you go about your schedules and journey through Life I wish you Illumination and Higher Consciousness with Constant Divinity.

I thought to sprinkle some doses of inspirations to you; hence I am sharing these Sages with you. I am sure you draw in inspiration to help you step into a more positive life momentum. So there have you the inspirations below! Feel free to pass it on to others.

Born To Shine

Our deepest fear is not

that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are

powerful beyond measure.

It is our light,

not our darkness,

that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves,

who am I to be brilliant,

gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.

There’s nothing enlightened

about shrinking

so that other people

won’t feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,

as children do.

We were born to make manifest

the glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us,

it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,

we unconsciously give other people

permission to do the same.

As we’re liberated from our own fear,

our presence automatically

liberates others.

— Marianne Williamson

The Law of Least Effort

The Law of Least Effort is the principle of least action, of no resistance. This is, therefore, the principle of harmony and love.

Act from love. Least effort is thus expended, because nature is held together by the energy of love.

Attend to spirit rather than ego. When your internal reference point is your spirit, you are immune to criticism and unfearful of any challenge.

Accept people, situations, circumstances, and events as they are, not as you wish they were. When you feel upset, remember that you are not reacting to the person or the situation, but to your feelings about the person or the situation.

Do not blame anyone or anything for your situation, including yourself; then every situation will become your teacher, and an opportunity for the creation of something new and beautiful.

Completely desist from defending your point of view. Relinquish the need to convince others of your opinion. Make a commitment to follow the path of no resistance: simply declare your intent to yourself, and you will experience fulfillment, delight, joy, freedom, and autonomy in every moment.

Ultimately you come to the state where you do nothing and accomplish everything.

– adapted from Deepak Chopra, Seven Spiritual Laws for Success

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery; but let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.

Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

The Untold Story of the Wright Brothers that Will MOTIVATE YOU

When I was in high school, my English teacher told me about this story of the Wright Brothers. And I read about them in a local magazine. In truth, when I first story from Adavenge Onise website I was enchanted. It REALLY caught my attention! Hence I decided to share it with you! Another thing that really, really, fascinated and also re-inspired me is that Adavenge Onise is a Nigerian and am a Nigerian too!! I have been inspired and rekindled by this story of the Wright Brothers.

On my own personal experience, I have also had some challenges which I was able to overcome. Before you start reading the story of the Wright Brothers; I deem it fit to also share my story and journey of how I became a published author with you. My story was published in a South African platform and you can watch the video on YouTube. I have also grown to learn and understand impossibility only exist in the mind. Nothing is impossible…

Without further ado, there you have the story of the Wright Brothers below:

Once upon a time in the year 1903, on the 17th of December.

Two brothers and an eager crowd had gathered at the open plains of Kitty Hawk to make history.

The Wright brothers(who were bicycle makers) were attempting to make the first powered flight of an airplane.

The Wright Brothers

Orville Wright climbed onboard their crude airplane.

At the back of his mind, he could clearly remember that men(who were more educated with more resources) had died in horrible crashes trying to fly their airplane designs.

His brother, Wilbur looked at him to confirm he was ready and then started the engines of the plane . . .

Orville took a deep breath and released the latch holding the plane in place…There was no turning back now.

The Wright Brothers

20 seconds later,

The Wright brothers had successfully completed the first powered flight in Human history.

Before this historic flight,

Many had tried and failed(Some even died in the process)

People claimed it was impossible for an airplane to fly.

Wright Brothers

They said it was a pipe dream that would keep costing money and lives.

But here we are today. . .

Seeing a plane fly over your location is something you are used to.

Listen . . .

Everything seems impossible until someone actually does it.

Why?

It all comes down to Mindset.

How you approach a problem determines the result you get.

If you see a challenge as do-able,

You would carry this confidence into ensuring you accomplish it and surprisingly, you would always achieve it(irrespective of the challenges you face along the way).

But if you see a challenge as insurmountable,

You would quickly give up at the first sign of trouble . . .

You are reading this write up because . . . Destiny wants you to come in contact with all the tools and information you need to build an excellent and amazing life, to fulfil destiny and create income streams which would pump money into your account and solve your money issues and give you the freedom you deserve.

You might feel at this point it is impossible.

But look at the results of people around you who have fulfilled destiny, made an impact, and are earning money while they sleep.

Do you know the difference between you and them?

MINDSET…

If you want to live an excellent life and fulfill your God-given purpose on earth.

You must learn to transform your mindset.

Having finished reading this story; I want you to read carefully the lyrics of this song by the enigmatic and beautiful Irish singer: Enya. The title is Only If.

To your inspiration and motivation!!

Here are the lyrics:

“Only If…”

When there’s a shadow,
you reach for the sun.
When there is love,
then you look for the one.
And for the promises, there is this land.
And for the heavens are
those who can fly.

[Chorus:]
If you really want to,
you can hear me say
Only if you want to
will you find a way.
If you really want to
You can seize the day.
Only if you want to will you fly away.

When there’s a journey,
you follow a star.
When there’s an ocean,
you sail from afar.
And for the broken heart,
there is the sky.
And for tomorrow are those
who can fly.

[Chorus]

Ooh go doe bay mwa.
Ooh go doe bay mwa.

The Message I Have for Korra Obidi and Justin Dean

From the moment I began seeing and watching Korra Obidi and Justin Dean displaying their lovebirds attitudes on social media; I began having some doubts as to how long this their lovebirds attitudes will last. I was really skeptical about their showiness and social media display of affection. If we want to be honest with ourselves; we would ACTUALLY acknowledge it that NOT everything or moment of our lives are meant to be shared on social media. Because the social media is an open place filled with different kinds of energies, consciousness, vibrations, people and things…

Now, not long. If I am able to remember correctly; not more than two weeks after Korra Obidi gave birth to their second child. Justin Dean is now telling divorce!! I mean it sounds sooooo strange and odd!! Those of us who are intuitive and understands that there are more than meet the eyes would want to say that somehow and somewhere; a negative energy/vibration has been projected to Korra Obidi. Not everyone is happy for your success; hence the need to be MINDFUL and CAREFUL cannot be overemphasized!!

In my full transparency, I am and I was happy for the couples (Korra Obidi and Justin Dean). But the news of their divorce is enough to make someone gut-wrenched!! At first I thought it was one of this publicity stunts. Until it became very real and serious that the ex-husband of Korra Obidi (Justin Dean) came out to affirm that the divorce is TRUE. Well, only God knows what will come out of it for them. As I always tell people that every moment is a manifestation of something…and every experience is a lesson or a blessing.

Below are all the brouhahas and drama going on between Korra Obidi and Justin Dean

Korra Obidi: I’ve Been Betrayed Once Again and She Is Unbothered, Dancer’s Hubby Writes, Says He’s Heartbroken

Dancer Korra Obidi’s husband, Justin Dean, has taken to social media with yet another post amid their marital crisis Dean in the post shared to his IG page mentioned how he has always been dedicated to his family but must now leave for the sake of his mental health He equally accused his wife of being unbothered about the entire situation as netizens flooded his comment section with different reactions

The drama between US-based Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi and her husband, Justine Dean, continues to unfold on social media to the worry and concern of their supporters. In a fresh Instagram post, Dean explained how he has always been dedicated to his family but is now being forced to walk away from his marriage for the sake of his mental health.

“I’m walking away from this marriage for my mental health and to be the best version of myself. I must set a healthy example for my children. This has nothing to do with postpartum depression,” he wrote.

The heartbroken husband mentioned how he feels betrayed and how Korra’s unbothered attitude to the crisis sums up what their marriage has been like.

“I’m heartbroken!

Anyone that knows me or watches me online knows that I’m a dedicated family man to both Korra and my children. This is honestly the hardest decision of my life, but necessary.

I’m walking away from this marriage for my mental health and to be the best version of myself. I must set a healthy example for my children.
This has nothing do with postpartum depression.

I’ve been betrayed once again and she is unbothered, which pretty much summarizes our marriage.

My apology to the all the young men and women that believed we had a “perfect marriage”.

Marriage is based on mutual love, respect, humility, accountability, empathy, apologies and most of all effective communication to understand the other person’s perspectives.

Likes and views shouldn’t be the highlight of your relationship.

Men: Your mental health matters!

In order to be strong, you have to be happy.” Justin Dean

Dancer Korra Obidi has spoken out for the first time since her husband announced their divorce.

In a video, the dancer expresses her gratitude to her supporters for their support and concern.

“I hope that me finding the strength to come up here will make you happy,” she told her followers as she thanked them.

She also said that her priority now is herself and her newborn.

“So, I’m gonna be one hundred percent committed to taking care of my newborn and myself, cause if the mama is good baby is good.

My message for Korra Obidi and Justin Dean is: STOP FLAUNTING all your affairs on the social media. Get in CAHOOTS with your Higher Selves and Angels. Embrace Higher Consciousness. STOP and DO NOT feed your Ego again because your Ego is NEVER your Amigo. Remember, when you are in the (negative) Ego you will NEVER win!

Finally, I wish your duo peace, bliss and grace to overcome this turbulent. For the sake of your children; why do not you two seek for a way to reunite? Well, the choice is yours.

Sending you Peace, Love, Higher Consciousness and Light!

Bring A Beautiful Soul to Canada!

Canadian flag: Google images

Our environment we live in has a big role in the shaping of our destiny and living our dreams. The role environment plays in our lives cannot be ignored! Even scientists and psychologists have realized that phenotypic factor which is about the physical environment plays a MAJOR role in our growth and development. You cannot become successful when you are living in an unhelpful environment neither can your dreams manifest when you are in an unhelpful environment.

“There is no joy, passion or fulfillment to be found in living a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” Nelson Mandela

An unhelpful creates a roadblock and obstacles for your dreams because the opportunities, atmosphere, people and platforms you need to succeed CANNOT be found in an unhelpful environment. When you are living in an unhelpful environment the only reality you can have is one of difficulties, hardships, suffering, stagnancy, poverty and limitations. Unhelpful makes you crawl, shrink, hidden—with all your dreams, talents and potentials locked and stifled!! And that is a really terrible reality to be in. In my previous post, I talked about environment in details. You can read about it in the hyperlinked text.

Aeroplane: google images
Aeroplane: Google images

I as an example, my current location (Nigeria) is and has been doing me a BIG DISSERVICE! Because Nigeria is an unhelpful environment to me; because of the corrupt government and system with the disharmonious environment—it makes me trapped and stagnated. That is why I am VERY passionate and determined to LEAVE Nigeria to Canada. Honestly, this is NOT life I am living in Nigeria at all!! Suffice to say that I am not in a positive life momentum. I believe that moving to Canada will pave the way for me to sprout the ideal life I deserve—one which is harmonious with my dreams and destiny; because as Nelson Mandela so eloquently puts it: “there is no joy, passion or fulfillment to be found in living a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” This statement of Nelson Mandela holds TRUTH for me.

Truth be told, I have so much to offer the world but my current location has proven to be a barrier and limitations to me as all my dreams and potentials are stifled!! Canada is a country that is ideal for me where I can thrive, flourish and soar—hence becoming the Luminary I am meant to be and I can assure you that my coming to Canada is a BIG PLUS to Canada; trust me—I kid you not!! Because I am a bunch of talent and potentials that have not been discovered! I know the stuff I am made of. I am very correct to describe myself as visionary, innovative, talented, brilliant, smart, disciplined, trustworthy, intuitive, influential, inspiring, intrepid and creative.

For me to be able to start my journey of moving out of Nigeria to Canada; a dear friend and mentor of mine (Tricia Schinkel) have set up GoFundMe Campaign for me. Please kindly donate to my GoFundMe as I am will be very grateful for every dollar that will be donated to my GoFundMe. It is my determination to give back to the society once I get to Canada; because Canada is a place where I can sprout the life of my dream and a life that I deserve to live!

If you have any questions and further enquiries please contact Tricia Schinkel as she is the one organizing my GoFundMe; the link to my GoFundMe is below.

Thank you all for your kind donations. My family and I are indeed grateful

Traditional Nigerian Religion

Sacred Grove of Osun Shrine: Google images

Religion in various forms is very strong in Nigeria. In other words, Nigerian people are VERY religious. Most Nigerians believe that there is an unseen supernatural world apart from the natural physical world. This other world is inhabited by beings who are the source of our knowledge of good and evil. They watch and judge us and if we offend them they may have to be appeased with prayers.

Certain individuals in the natural world—priests, prophets and diviners are believed to be endowed with special powers to make contact with the other world. They lay down ceremonies or rituals which must be observed if due honour is to be paid to the unseen beings.

The religious beliefs and practices of Nigerians can be classified under three main headings: Traditional religion, Islam and Christianity. This is the order in which each made its appearance in the country.

Traditional or indigenous religion continues to exert a strong influence on many people’s minds, partly because of its association with their birthplaces and family. Each ethnic group has its own religious traditions and these are often linked to some sacred spot or sports in the ethnic homeland; e.g. Ile-Ife. Yet, the various traditional religions have much in common: a remote but benevolent high god; under him, a number of lesser gods who interact with mankind and below them. Various spirits who inhabit natural objects such as: trees, streams, rocks, etc below them again and closest to living men and women, the spirits of the ancestors.

In Yoruba religion, for example, there are more than 400 lesser deities presided over by the high god Olorun. Because he is remote from mankind, shrines are not built to him and worship is not offered to him directly. The lesser gods on the other hand are the subject of special cults, each with its own priests and devotees. Eshu, the messenger of the gods, Ifa the god of divination and Shango the god of thunder and so on. Traditional religion was strong in other parts of Nigeria too.

In Igbo traditional religion, there were fewer gods. Although there was a remote high god, the most import figure was Ala or Ani; the goddess of the earth. In Hausa land, traditional religion has largely gone underground, owing to the influence of Islam, but belief in the existence of ‘Bori—spirits and their power to possess people, especially women—is strong in some areas. Each spirit is associated with a certain type of behaviour which is manifested by the possessed individual.

Divination, that is the discovery of what is unknown or is yet to happen by supernatural or magical means—it is an important element of traditional religion. It is often of the functions of the ‘medicine men’ or inhabitants. In Igboland, there also used to be several oracles which people consulted in order to seek answers to their problems. With the coming of Christianity, their influence waned.

It is so sad, disappointing and shameful that Africans are more religious in the entire planet. Yet, lacking behind in terms of development and progress; countries where the Bible and church are not paraded and where believe in God is little or none are obviously are doing well. Example, Singapore, Denmark, China, Japan etc. I am always thankful and happy that I left church and religion years ago. After I left Jehovah’s Witness I embraced spirituality and I could not have made a better choice! Even Jesus Christ said to worship God in spirit and in truth. Not according to religion!

Sadly in Nigeria where many people are possessed by religious spirits they misunderstand things which are natural part of human nature. For example, the Ozuu which is a natural wine used in ceremony in Nigeria; they say it is not good for a Christian to drink as it is used in shrines. Now the question is; are there not other things used in the shrines? One woman said that during her marriage she did not allow them bring in palm wine because it is used in shrines and idol worships.

There many so-called “Christians” (are they really Christians? I like to call them “Churchians”) who have this false belief that Kola nut is not supposed to be consumed by a “Christian” as it is used in idol worship and shrines. The truth is that all of these useless and blind beliefs are born out of religiosity, ignorance, misleading and brainwashing that religion has done to them!

To wrap up this article, I want you to watch this eye opening videos posted by a legendary Nigerian singer; Charly Boy. To me, Charly Boy seems to be one who is awakened. I love his Maverickness and Quirkiness. You are going to learn a lot from it. I actually enjoyed watching the videos as I watched it on repeat! They are videos you MUST watch! “A mind stretched by new knowledge can never go back to its prior form.” The Mastery of Life

Money Matters

Money: Google images

Money is a subject of great interest to most people and most people want to get more of it. The lawless ones among us see robbery, arson and other forms of stealing as their way to it. Others enrich themselves by using the posts they occupy in companies or government departments to collect bribes or pickups for the award of contracts. Those without financial acumen whatever will merely save any money they acquire by keeping it in the proverbial box under the bed or hole in the ground in which case, clearly it earn no interest. But most people with legacy to spare will think of some kind of holdings, acting on the sound principle that one sum of money can be made to grow into a larger sum.

This can happen in various ways. In Nigeria, small businesses are very popular; saving becomes the foundation needed to establish a provision shop, say or to run a taxi. Although this type of business entails some risks it also offers the prospect of fairly quick and sometimes quite healthy credits. Less enterprising citizens will prefer to put their money in savings or mortgage accounts in banks or they purchase interests-bearing government obligations or stakes in companies that pay a regular refund.

Trading in stocks and shares is what large scale financial dealings are all about and in Nigeria as in other countries these are entirely carried out through the Stock Exchange. The Nigerian Stock Exchange has trading floors in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Kano; it also has branches in Kaduna, Onitsha and Ibadan. The middlemen of the Stock Exchange are known as stockbrokers; they buy and sell shares on behalf of clients for which they charge a tax. Often the client is a company seeking to purchase shares in another company, sometimes with a view to taking over completely. The reason is that several companies operate in a particular line of business. E.g. timber production or textiles and each have a natural interest in driving out competitors and establishing a uniformity.

However, some of those dealing in the Stock Exchange are not there to further the interests of a company engaged in productive business; they are there merely to accumulate that is to purchase shares when they are relatively cheap and sell them again when they fetch higher price. At any time certain shares are increasing in attractiveness and price while others are less attractive and their price is falling.

Occasionally, there is a general loss of confidence in the Stock Exchange, people rush to sell all their shares and there may even be a worldwide Stock Market strike.

The Kind Lady! Oh….! How Sweet and Heartwarming!!

Lavonda Wright Myers and Jayden Sutton: Legit News

Lady Gifts Secondary School boy Who Treks Long Distance to Work a New Car, She Said His Heart Made Her Cry

A kindhearted lady identified as Lavonda Wright Myers has put a smile on the face of a secondary schoolboy who treks long hours to work After her first encounter with the 18-year-old boy named Jayden Sutton, Myers took it upon herself to get him a new car and made good with that vow Speaking on what inspired her kind gesture, the businesswoman said his heart and determination made her cry.

A young boy’s hard work and positive approach to life have earned him a life-changing gesture from a stranger. 18-year-old secondary school student, Jayden Sutton who is from Cobb County, Georgia, US was surprised with a new whip by a kind woman who had given him a ride in her car.

Determined against all odds, the young lad would trek about 7 miles every day after closing from school by 3:30 pm to do his shift of 6-7 hours at the restaurant.

By the time he finished work and trekked back, Jayden would arrive home by 11:30 pm. A date with destiny On December 10, 2020, a lady identified as Lavonda Wright Myers was driving by when she saw the boy trekking in the rain. The businesswoman offered him a ride and learnt about his touching story of how he trekked because of his inability to pay for Uber rides.

“Once I dropped him off to work, his heart and determination filled my eyes with tears.” He said, ‘Ma’am, I walk because I have to.’

“He was smiling in good spirits, and that’s a child worth blessing,” she told newsmen.

Talking About Intelligence

Intelligence Quotient: Google images)

Hi there!! I wanted to tell us about Intelligence. Hence I am sharing this post with us today, Hope you enjoy reading through it.

According to Psychologists, there are four types of Intelligence:

1) Intelligence Quotient (IQ)

2) Emotional Quotient (EQ)

3) Social Quotient (SQ)

4) Adversity Quotient (AQ)

1. Intelligence Quotient (IQ): this is the measure of your level of comprehension. You need IQ to solve maths, memorize things, and recall lessons.

2. Emotional Quotient (EQ): this is the measure of your ability to maintain peace with others, keep to time, be responsible, be honest, respect boundaries, be humble, genuine and considerate.

3. Social Quotient (SQ): this is the measure of your ability to build a network of friends and maintain it over a long period of time.

People that have higher EQ and SQ tend to go further in life than those with a high IQ but low EQ and SQ. Most schools capitalize on improving IQ levels while EQ and SQ are played down.

A man of high IQ can end up being employed by a man of high EQ and SQ even though he has an average IQ.

Your EQ represents your Character, while your SQ represents your Charisma. Give in to habits that will improve these three Qs, especially your EQ and SQ.

Now there is a 4th one, a new paradigm:

4. The Adversity Quotient (AQ): The measure of your ability to go through a rough patch in life, and come out of it without losing your mind.

When faced with troubles, AQ determines who will give up, who will abandon their family, and who will consider suicide.

Parents please expose your children to other areas of life than just Academics. They should adore manual labour (never use work as a form of punishment), Sports and Arts. Develop their IQ, as well as their EQ, SQ and AQ. They should become multifaceted human beings able to do things independently of their parents.

Finally, do not prepare the road for your children. Prepare your children for the road.”

The Three Men Who Looked for Death and Found It!!!

RIP and Skull: Google Images

Long time ago in a faraway land; a wealthy young man died in that land. His death was SO mysterious and painful that it actually SPARKED curiosity among the people of that land. Filled with curiosity, three men decided to embark on a journey to find death and put death out of existence!! Is that possible?

They told the people of the land that they were going to find death and put death out of existence. Some people laughed at them others were surprised and suspicious of their movement. Some of the people in the land called them all kinds of names and how foolish their mission was!! But these three men were too determined to be discouraged so they embarked on their journey to find death and put death out of existence.

After walking a very long distance, they came across a huge baobab tree. The three young men enter and sat under the baobab tree. Surprisingly to them there was calabash filled with gold coins in it!!! They knelt down and screamed, “WE ARE RICH”!!

First Man: There is no need for any of us to work again!! We can buy clothes, house, horses and wives. The world is ours!! The whole world is under our feet!!

The Second Man: Friends, listen! What are we going to do? If we take this money home now; people will say that we stole it. We have to be careful. Let us wait until nightfall

Third Man: A very good idea!! Then we can take the gold home. Nobody will know anything about it.

First Man: But we cannot wait here all day. We have nothing to eat and we have finished the water we have with us already

Second Man: I was thinking the same thing. I have three straws in my hand. The one who chooses the shortest will go and get some food and drink. The others will stay and guard the money

Third Man: Good idea!!

First Man: Agreed!

Second Man: I am always the one who does the work. I do not have any money to buy food and drink

Third Man:         I am always the man who pays for everything! Ok, take this money and go to the town—buy us food and drink. Don’t forget the change!

First Man: Alright, my friends see you soon

Second Man: (thinks to himself) If I have all the money myself, and did not have to share with the other two. I would be very rich!! But I cannot fight these two. There is only one thing I can do. I will visit a witch doctor….

Second Man: (arrives the witch doctor’s shrine)

Witch doctor: Greetings! What do you want from me? I have some excellent bat teeth to help you see in the dark, or perhaps you would like some snake blood to make your girlfriend love you

Second Man: No. I want some poison—some very powerful strong poison

Witch Doctor: Aha! I have some that are very strong that the smallest drop will kill a man in seconds. Don’t make any mistake with it!

Second Man: Thank you wise one! (Pays the Witch Doctor and pours the poison into two bottles of wine)

Third Man: You know, I have been thinking…there is not enough money for all three of us. You know.

Second Man: But what can we do? The other guy is coming back soon

Third Man: Two are stronger than one! When the other guy comes back, we will wait till he sits down and then we will both stab him

Second Man: And then we will both share the money between us! All right! Agreed—but look out here he comes!!

First Man: Hey my friends, I am back. I have bought some food and drinks for us to enjoy

Second Man: Welcome! Come and sit down

Third Man: Sit down let us eat first and then count the money

First Man: Ok (sits down)

Second Man and Third Man: (grabs the First Man and stabs him with their knives)

Second Man: You see, I told you it was easy! Now you and I can share the whole money between the two of us

Third Man: Yes, greed, I was getting tired of First Man. He was always grumbling and he never had any to pay his rounds of drinks

Second Man: Let us forget him. We will bury his body in minutes. Let us have a drink first to celebrate!

Third Man and Second Man: (takes the bottles of wine and started to drink to celebrate. Few minutes later….they both dies)

That was how the Three Men found death when they least expected it

The End.

Love, Romance and Valentine’s Day: Are They Really Connected?

The concept of Valentine’s Day celebration is something I did not understand until I graduated from college. By the way, I am Maverick. So I don’t usually follow the societal programming. For example, I “laugh” at people during Christmas celebration. That’s not say that I don’t receive Christmas gifts. I do, but there is a reason why I said I laugh at people during Christmas celebration. I will share my reasons with you in my next post.

Back to Valentine’s Day celebration; they say that the Valentine’s Day celebration is Lover’s day. I am certainly not against people who are celebrating Valentine’s Day or Christmas celebration. But I wish people would understand some things. Not because I am single is my reason for saying this. Countless times I have heard people say that they “fell in love.” I remind you that I am also quirky. So I want to add my quirkiness. Here it goes: “I don’t want to fall in love. I would rather be in love. There is a difference between the two. Falling in love and be-in Love.

When you fall in love you also fall out of love. When you are in love you are embodying love in your being. You BE-come Love. You are loved and BE-LOVED! You Do as a loving/lovely person should/would. Then you have Love—equals to: Be. Do. Have. This can also be translated to mean: be doing what you want to have…it is just my own personal opinion and belief that is unique to me. It might not make sense to others and that’s okay too.

There is something I want to share with you about this Valentine’s Day. It is from Dr. Kristin Neff. I hope you enjoy reading through it as much as I did. You should learn something from it too. Let me also add that I really agree with Dr. Kristin Neff and thanks to her for such an insightful perspective!! I believe so much in compassion: compassion on one’s self and compassion towards others; this is the message Guan Yin has been teaching us. Think about this:

“Until compassion is spread to all of creation, humanity will never find peace.”

Albert Schweitzer

Meeting Romantic Yearnings With Compassion

Dr. Kristin Neff

Dear friends,

As Valentine’s Day approaches, romance is in the air. Stores are full of bouquets and chocolate-covered strawberries, selling us myriad ways to celebrate love.

Some people are in fulfilling romantic relationships and Valentine’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to express appreciation for one’s partner. The problem, however, is the not-so-subtle message that romance is necessary for our happiness – that we need someone else to complete us.

The truth is we don’t need to connect with a romantic partner to be whole, we need to connect with our true nature to be whole. Women especially are raised with the notion that our worth stems from finding someone to love and cherish us. We’re taught that our value is derived from the adoring eyes of another, and if we aren’t in a relationship with someone who cares about us, we must be a failure.

These deep-rooted cultural beliefs are spotlighted on Valentine’s Day, and can be painful if we don’t have a partner or if our relationship isn’t what we’d like it to be

We often yearn for that feeling of intimacy, of closeness, of oneness, and feel dissatisfied if it’s lacking. These unfulfilled yearnings, though painful, are actually invaluable guideposts.  They’re signals that we’re looking in the wrong place for happiness.

Feelings of incompleteness stem from the misperception that we are separate from life, isolated individuals removed from the whole. When we give compassion to ourselves for our unfulfilled yearnings, we become that which we seek.

By opening our hearts to our pain and remembering this shared aspect of the human experience, we experience true intimacy with life. Happiness doesn’t depend on circumstances, it arises from connecting with the loving quality of awareness, which can hold feelings of loneliness and romance equally.

So if feelings of sadness or dissatisfaction arise for you this Valentine’s Day, try to seize them as an opportunity to see through the illusion of separation. Our real Valentine is the loving nature of our own hearts.

Warmly,

Kristin Neff

Compassion as Epitomized by Guan Yin

Kwan Yin: Instagram

Compassion is a word that sounds so sweet in the tongue and yes it is a very beautiful virtue to have. “Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, humanity will not find peace.” – Albert Schweitzer.

On my own personal journey of spiritual awakening and personal development; I have Guan Yin (also Kwan Yin) an EPITOME of Compassion. How did I discover this BEAUTIFUL and POWERFUL Goddess?

My experience and connection with Guan Yin began when I was a Jehovah’s Witness (around 2011/2012). There were two publications by the Jehovah’s Witness. One is Mankind Search for God and Keep Yourselves in God’s Love; in one of these two publications Holy Mother Mary and Guan Yin was talked about. Guan was adorned with a golden gown carrying a baby. As I was already familiar with Holy Mother Mary; I became curious about Guan Yin! I was like “Goddess of mercy? How? Why…”? But my curiosity did not stop there. I could remember using a friend’s phone when I was in college to read about Guan Yin (for the virtues of Guan Yin TRULY captured my attention!! At that time and has been endearing and enchanting to date and will always be forever!).

Kwan Yin Google images

When I finally left Jehovah’s Witness in October 2013; my quest for Truth, Light and my journey to Spirituality and spiritual awakening began. I began exploring Eastern spirituality: for some reason which I have not known yet; I am subliminally drawn to Eastern Spirituality. I have a thing for Eastern spirituality.

As my connection and relationship with Guan Yin began to blossom; I became more drawn towards compassion. With Guan Yin; I have grown more to appreciate compassion. Compassion for one’s self and compassion towards others: this is what Guan Yin is teaching us. Every since I have developed a connection with Guan Yin there have been remarkable changes in my life as I am embracing more of compassion each day and striving towards being a better human being; I affectionately refer to Guan Yin as my Mother (and I am Her child).

I am fond of playing the compassionate mantras of Guan Yin: they are SO healing, sublime, uplifting and peaceful. Suffice to say that they could leave you in joyful tears with goosebumps (as I always experience when I am playing them). Even as I am typing this article I have been playing them on repeat (Lol). These mantras keep you in mindfulness, empowered, grateful and blissful!! I am talking about the Om Mani Padme Hum and Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa; if you have ever played these mantras you will understand my reason for loving Guan Yin and I am sure you will confirm what I have said. I have the pictures of Guan Yin in my room.

Kwan Yin atop a Dragon: Google images

About two weeks ago, I was going to the farm and mindfully singing the Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa quietly to myself; unknowingly to me; there was trouble and danger ahead of me; but it was averted (maybe I would not have been alive to write this as it was something was about to lead to  bloodshed…).

Trust me; Guan Yin is a force to reckon with! A Goddess to be honoured and respected; She is preeminent. I follow the teachings and wisdom of Guan Yin. In truth, compassion is the pill the world need today because if we all have compassion on ourselves and towards one another there would be no wickedness, racism or trouble as there would be understanding, peace and harmony in the world!

May All Beings be free from Suffering

May All Beings receive Illumination

I will round up this article with some quotes from Guan Yin

“Sit with me in divine faith and believe in me. And I will be there. This goes for all beings…It is difficult for some to hear the voices of the Divine Spirit. This may be because some are so invested in material things. I understand. I feel a deep compassion for these human beings. Material things are a temporary relief from pain.” Kwan Yin

“Some believe I am in servitude to Buddha. However, Buddha doesn’t see it like that. We’re more like brother and sister. There is a difference. I come to people in many forms, forms constructed from people’s own perceptions of how I should come to them. And it is individual spiritual needs that create these unique perceptions. In the end, it does not matter what form I take.” –  Kwan Yin

“A life should definitely belong to the one who tries to saves it, not one who tries to take it.” -Kwan Yin

An Unscriptural Doctrine of the Catholic Church That MUST Be Stopped!!

Pope Francis: Google Images
Pope Francis: American Magazine.org
(via Google images)

To be honest, I have always wanted to write about this. Frankly speaking, it was in my bucket list just that I have been busy with other stuffs. Once I read the newsheadline about Reinhard Marx speaking about it I knew it was a reminder to join force with him to also speak against this unscriptural practices and doctrine of the Catholic Church!!

The Catholic Church seems to attempt being altruistic and compassionate BUT all the same they have MISSED IT for a very long time. And it is only pertinent that they change this unscriptural practice because it is baseless, unscriptural and enslaving. What is this unscriptural practice of the Catholic Church? Celibacy; serving God should and is not required to make you a barren. In the same Bible we have been told to go into the world and multiply. If ever someone wants to serve God as a celibate that should be something that comes from the person’s willingness—just the person’s volition!! But making it a compulsory requirement is unscriptural.

We have heard and seen cases were Catholic Priests are been found in the act of fornication and abuse of children sexually (pedophile) all of which are born out of the enslavement they are in. How about the so-called Reverend Sisters; they are not left out as they are still involved all manners of sexual activities. I used to teach in a Catholic School; the so-called Reverend Sisters are NOTHING to write home about as it is very obvious that they are not virgins. Even if they claim to be emulating the footsteps of Holy Mother Mary; but their lifestyle and character is NEVER in harmony with the example of Holy Mother Mary.

There are Rev. Fathers and Catholic Priests who have children, wife and girlfriends secretly. This is not something that is supposed to done in a hidden way; but because of the religious bondage they are in, they have to play “hide-and-seek.” Let us say the truth: is that allowed? Was it supposed to be so? Even the Jesus Christ they are emulating did not put a law that one must be a celibate to follow him.  Mary gave birth to other children apart from Jesus Christ!

Sex is part of human existence. I have always said it and will keep saying it: religion is another form of colonialism and brainwashing—that is why I left religion years and I could not have made a better choice!

I also want to thank Reinhard Marx for speaking up on this unscriptural doctrine of the Catholic Church. I strongly believe that Reinhard Marx is making a ripple effect with such boldness of speaking the TRUTH! Also, I sincerely desire that other people even world leaders alongside other religious bodies, individuals and organizations should join hands to speak against THIS unscriptural practice of celibacy by the Catholic Church because it is UNSCRIPTURAL, ANATHEMA, inhuman and baseless.

Below is what Reinhard Marx has said about this unscriptural practice of Celibacy by the Catholic Church. I consider Reinhard Marx a SAGE!!

German cardinal urges lifting celibacy requirement for priests

By Noah Banjo

A German Cardinal, Reinhard Marx, whose archdiocese was the subject of a recent damning report into child sex abuses, said Wednesday he was in favour of lifting the celibacy requirement for priests.

“For many priests, it would be better if they were married,” the influential archbishop of Munich and Freising told the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.

His comments came after a damning independent report last month found 497 victims of sexually abusive behaviour by 235 people — including 173 priests — in the Munich and Freising archdiocese between 1945 and 2019.

The report by law firm Westpfahl Spilker Wastl found that former Munich and Freising archbishop, ex-pope Benedict XVI, failed to take action to stop four priests accused of child sex abuse in Munich in the 1980s before he became pontiff.

It also accused current archbishop Marx of failing to act in two cases of suspected abuse. After the report was released, Marx said he was “shocked and ashamed” by the findings.

On Wednesday, Marx said he wondered if celibacy “should be a basic requirement for every priest”.

“I think that things, as they are, cannot continue like this,” he added.

“I always say this to young priests: living alone is not so easy.

“And if some say: without the obligation of celibacy, they will all get married! My answer is: so what! If they all marry, it would at least be a sign that things are not currently working.”

The unusually forthright comments on the subject came on the eve of a new assembly of the German synod, which is expected to move towards modernising the institution by 2023.

It is expected to look at several subjects viewed with suspicion by conservatives and the Vatican, such as allowing priests to marry and a greater role for women.

Last year Marx offered Pope Francis his resignation over the church’s “institutional and systemic failure” in its handling of child sex abuse scandals.

However, Pope Francis rejected his offer, urging the cardinal known for his reforms to stay and help shape change in the church. Four years ago a report found that at least 3,677 children had been sexually abused in the Catholic Church in Germany since 1946; but its authors, who did not have access to the church’s files, estimated that the true number was far higher.

The Fish Racket

Fishes Google Images

My father always gave his share of the catch to me to guard while he went to help another group. At first, I sat there, patiently and proudly guarding the growing pile of fish. But then a group of my friends came by, laughing and playing. They called to me and I left my post to play with them for a few minutes, but always with frequent glances at my pile of fish and with one eye on the figure of my father. If anyone came too near my fish or if my father turned in my direction, I hurried back to my post. But the morning was long and hot and I was only five years old. I became tired, hungry and thirsty. Food sellers went to and fro among the fishermen, with trays of tempting cakes, fruits and sweets upon their heads. I looked longingly at the food, but I had no money to buy things with.

Then, one day, I made a discovery which was to lead me into such a tangled web of deception that I was in the end unable to extract myself from it. I discovered that the food sellers would accept fish in payment for their wares. I began by exchanging the smallest fish in my charge for an orange, or piece of sugarcane. Then with a larger fish, I bought cakes and sweets and shared them with my friends. At last, the day came, when in a reckless burst of goodwill or bid for popularity, I exchanged my whole pile of fish for food and distributed it among all the children who came crowding round me.

During the next half hour, while I waited for my father. I was in agony. At last, I saw him coming.

“Where are my fish?” He asked at once.

“I sent them to grandmother.”

My father was content with this answer

Fishes : Google Images

He took my hand and we walked to my grandmother’s compound. Here he spoke for a few minutes with his mother and then asked her, “Where are my fish” my grandmother assumed that he was speaking about that part of the catch that was always put aside for him as a son of the house. She fetched a tray of fish and gave them to me to carry. My father assumed that the fish which I had bartered away were among those which his mother gave me. He was quite satisfied. He took my hand again and led me home. I could hardly believe my good fortune. I breathed easily again and I began to think I was rather clever.

The next Saturday, I did the same thing. I bartered away all my father’s fish. I told him that I had given them to my grandmother to be put with those which she had for us and I was not found out, I did it again the following Saturday and again and again. But my luck was too good to last….

The Hidden Persuaders

Image: Instagram (@queenmercyatang)

Personally, since my primary school, high school, college and even after college I have been wondering how come these advertisers are SO smart and manipulative! They seem to be able to control the human mind…I am still WOWED by some jingles that are been played to make us buy products and services. These advertisers have the tips and tricks to penetrate our minds and in the end we end up doing their bidding (buying their products!). That is why today I decided to talk about advertisement. I hope you enjoy reading through and learn something from it.

As a Maverick and Quirky person that I am; I do not just subscribe to whatever is been advertised. If it is not necessary for me to have I do not spend my money on it. But unfortunately, there are people who always fall prey to the tricks, manipulations and sweet-tongues of these advertisers and their advertisements. Suffice to say that some people are like puppets—hence making to wonder where they put their willpower, discipline and integrity. By puppets I mean some people just fall for anything in vogue. Is that allowed?

Well, I am of the believe that you will find this blogpost helpful, insightful, liberating, inspiring and a game-changer: ultimately setting you up for a more positive life momentum!

Are you a victim of the hidden persuaders? We are all influenced for more than we realize by professional persuaders, the men and women of advertising. Advertisers have something to sell and they use a number of ways to persuade us to buy their products. They spend millions of naira every year studying human behaviour so that they can control our choices effectively.

Certain feelings and fears are common to nearly all of us and advertisers take advantage of these emotions. For instance, most of us need security and want to be popular with others. We also want to be healthy, successful and attractive. By playing feelings like these advertisers make us believe that we need and want certain products because they will improve our lives in some ways. For example, toothpaste makers doubled tier sales in a few years by making people uncomfortable about their teeth and breath. Unless you had fresh breath and white teeth you would be a social misfit!

Another interesting example of emotional manipulation can be seen in the advertising of beauty products. An advertising executive once said that women will pay a hundred naira for skin cream but no more than ten naira for cake of soap. The reason is that soap promises to make them clean. However, cram promises to make them beautiful. The women are buying a promise. In other words, the cosmetic manufacturers are not only selling cream, but hope. Perhaps, the most obvious method of advertising is the use of sex appeal. Some adverts promise success with the opposite sex. If you buy a product, you will get the man or woman of your dreams. For example, an advert for impulse products tells us ‘impulse made me man’s favourite.’ Sex appeal is used to manipulate men as well—“Change to Ego, it will change your life,” says the man in the advert; surrounded by beautiful women.

Image: Instagram (@queenmercyatang)

In other adverts, aimed mainly at men, women are used to sell products not normally associated with them. Research has shown that the image of an attractive woman is always an effective way of advertising. She may sit on a new car or she may lie at a man’s feet stroking his new socks. Whatever she does her image sells. Women are used to as objects to attract male customers. Even colour is used to manipulate our choices.

A company did a test to see if people were influenced by a product’s packaging. Firstly, they gave a group of women three different boxes which all contained the same washing powder. Then they asked them to try out the different washing powders and decide which one was best. After they had used the products, many women stated that the one in the brilliant yellow box was too strong while the one in the blue box left their clothes dirty. The best of all, according to the most of the women was the powder in the third box which has a design of soft cololurs on it.

Next time, you buy something. Ask yourself why you choose that specific product. Are you being persuaded that you need something by the men and women of advertising?

Adapted from The Hidden Persuaders by Vance Packard

“Change to Ego, it will change your life,”

Do you agree with this statement above made by the man in the article talking about advert? I do not agree with him because our Ego is NOT our Amigo!!! He made that statement from a ignorance, blindness and narrow-mindedness
